Yeah, guess its swings and roundabouts, still a lot of money, but so is Down Town, although I am determined to go have a coffee in one of the cafes this year, even if it does cost $15
-
Yeah but if I went I would want the best tickets!!
Hope everyone who goes has a fab time
-
Well I'll not be going.thought I would but I leave Lebanon on 27th and even if I was there I don't think I could comfortably pay those prices, I could afford it but with a VIP ticket costing about the same as the basic monthly wage in Lebanon I wouldn't feel right paying that for a concert while my family could live off that amount for quite a while. Wonder why the tickets are so expensive compared to the last tour here.
-
ooh I will be in Lebanon then, wonder how I can get tickets
-
Is everything alright there? A Lebanese friend just rang us to turn the news on, there seems to be fighting in Beirut
We have flights booked for July too
-
So our Mika is a cheap boy then
-
He won't care what she thinks, remember when someone asked him if he would turn the Christmas lights on and his answer was "no I'm not Jordan":D

Thanks for taking the video,so nice to watch
So what was his favourite tea? I sent Lipton because all the Lebanese who live outside Lebanon we know drink that as it reminds them of home I did make a nice card to hold the teabag though with lots of "Mikaish" papers, hope he liked it

No, I've never been to a concert,I worship from afar
Lebanon's great, wonderful people, bit of a state from the wars especially the latest one but the Lebanese people always spring back.

Really creative scrapbook,it will be lovely to look back on in years to come. I scrapbook too and have run a scrapbook store for 6 years now. There are a lot of supplies available that are very "Mikaish", I often think I would like to be able to show Mika or Yasmine some of them,I'm sure they would love them.
Look at these papers for example

Hello everyone
Looks a nice friendly thread to join
My husband is Lebanese andwe have 2 kiddies, we go to Lebanon most summers as we have a flat there and lots of family,we live in Nabatieh,in the South. Last summer Mika wasn't heard of much there, but that mght have been different in Beirut,we didn't get to Beirut that time as it was just sooooo hot! I do love Lebanon just wish it would settle down a bit and wish the electricity supply was better! We had AC ftted in our bedrooms and couldn't use it much last year because of the electrcity rationing, I was sooo frustrated! We are currently looking for flights ready for this summer althought I won't be going for as long this time as after about 3- weeks I always get very ill
OK I'm off to cook some Mograbieh and Mahallibeyeh ready for dinner, anyone want some
