  1. No in fact it is Pink for US, Japan and UK, and Green for China and Europe.

And correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the MIKA on the CD inside is then the opposite colour.

ohhhh ok, cool, thanks for the info!.............I just went to look at my CD and you're right the MIKA on the CD is the opposite color from the front. :thumb_yello:

  2. The pink/green thing changes as to where you brought the CD/had it shipped from :) (eg UK= green)

    Some tracks are also different.

ohhh ok, thanks! I knew he had a different mix of songs for different counties (like the UK, US, and Japan), but I didn't know he changed the colors around too...thats cool!

so its green=UK, pink=US...what about Japan, anyone know?

  3. Me too! That's why I didn't look for so long. Then I searched through adtunes.com and found it, I think. I looked for it on there just now, but they must have removed it after the found out.

oooo...adtunes.com what kind of website is that? Does it tell you the songs to commercials? **gonna go check it out now!!**

ok, just went to check out the website, I'm gonna be going to that more often, I always hear good commercial songs!! Thanks for mentioning it!

Oh and I found the thread about that commercial we saw...it looks like it was MTVs Monday night line up...I was close!

  4. I first heard him on some MTV ads for shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills. In the background, they played the "doom, di da di da di, doom, di da di da di..." from 'Love Today' and I thought it was a girl.:naughty: So I looked it up online and everyone was saying "Who's that girl singing in the background of those MTV commercials?" LMAO.

Then I lost interest, but about a month later (this had to be around February or March) I went to my friend's MySpace page. He's in a band, and I'm the PA Street Team leader for it, so he usually has good music on his page. Anyway, I heard it and I was like "Who's Mika? I've never heard of them." because I forgot all about those ads.

Then I started listening to it, and my friend Ian had 'Lollipop' on his page. About two months later I joined the fanclub.:naughty:

That's where I first heard him too!! :thumb_yello: I think the commercial was for the Hills, maybe their Tuesday night line up. I really wanted to know the name of the song, but b/c they didn't play any of the words (just the doom da da di di di) I thought I'd never find out.

I later saw commercials for Mika's album selling at Target and Love Today on a verizon commercial....and then went searching on you tube!! Thank goodness for TV or I would have never heard of him!!

I love hearing how everyone first heard of him! Everyone has such a different story, its awesome!:mf_rosetinted:

  5. I haven't seen anybody's comment about this yet, but did anyone notice the really cute Mika pop up in the neon lights at the Brits..???....a la avoca's pic (see on the left?)

    36-1.jpg

WOW that is so cool!! :thumb_yello: I would have never noticed!

I haven't read through this whole thread, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned.....but

did anyone notice that those neon lights look like Mika's Lollipop video? I though it was awesome that it looked just like the video!!

  6. maybe some people left before lollipop b/c they thought the show was over after Grace Kelly.....I mean the whole band does run off stage to get their costumes on, and if you're not familiar with the show, maybe you think its over...

....while the band was off stage getting the costumes on, Mika did come back by himself for a second to wave to the crowd (does he usually do that?)....for a second I got scared that they wern't gonna do Lollipop and that was actually the end, b/c before they go off stage they do say "goodbye" and everything....thank goodness I was wrong!!

  7. ....ok I'm remembering more...

    - I felt like I was the only one around my area that new Mika's new HMDYLM song....I was singing and singing it (I love that new song) and I kinda felt like people were looking at me like :boxed: but I didn't care!!

    - Yeah there was some pushing at the beginning of the concert, which I expected. Once he started playing the songs on the piano though, the pushing wasen't as bad....but I did notice towards the end of the concert, like during grace kelly and especially during Lollipop that the crowd wasen't as full....like some people had left (I was close to the front, about 6 rows back)....did anyone else notice this? or does anyone notice this happening towards the end of his concerts?? I don't know why people would leave...they're missing out!!

  8. THE CONCERT WAS AMMMMAAAAAAZZZZZZZZINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! :punk: :punk:

Not sure what to report on, I'll just post a few things I can think of I guess...and I'll add more as people ask...

    - During the beginning of Love Today w/ the skeleton, while he was walking out, he was kinda knocking into things, the music stopped for a second (twice) while he was walking out...the skeleton must have stepped on a cord or something :naughty:

    - After Mika gave the skeleton a hug he also kissed it on the lips, which I haven't seen before on videos, I thought that was cute...then as the skeleton clumsily walked away, Mika said something like "that is the most clumsy skeleton ever":naughty:

    - I forgot who on this forum made the giant lollipop when she was lollipop girl, but it was on stage last night!!

....let me think if I can remember anything else.....

  9. Thank you.

It was made with a giant cardboard circle with newspaper taped into a sort of spiral on top of that. Then I put paper mache all over it (gluey newspaper). Waited till it dryed, and then painted it! The lollipop stick was made with posterboard.

dang, that so cool!! GOOD JOB!!! :thumb_yello: I must say, it looked really good up there!! (I wasen't at the concert  but could totally spot it from pictures!)

I hope he continues to use it throughout the rest of his tour!!
