    I tried to get tickets for the Toronto show at 12:00 today (right when they went on sale) I used the right pass code and it says tickets are not available. Is it possible that the pre sale sold out in 2 minutes? I'm calling tickets master now anyway but i'm on hold...

     

    edit: The woman on the phone told me that the pre sale did sell out. WOW! Bummer! I hope I can still get them on the 20th.

Hey!! i saw your status on facebook, and i think this is my first post on here in a looooonnnggg time (i've been super busy but i finish school on the 27th and now i've finished my A.P. exams as of today) but i wanted to wish you good luck!!! i'm so excited there will be an addition to our Lollipop Girl family!!:wub2: I can't wait to see pictures! She's sure to be gorgeous like her momma!

    I'll be completely honest, my fandom dwindled a bit over the last few months as i had a lot going on in my life and less time to go on MFC and listen to LICM etc...buuut.....

    I'm so glad that his second album is fantastic like the first ;) It's different but i like it :)

    Yes, it's the closest one. I'd travel to another one but I don't have the money. My mom was all, "you could go to the Montreal one as well, if you didn't have school the next day". Gotta love university classes getting in the way. :rolls_eyes:

    But Chicago is a great birthday event! :yay: Toronto will miss you too but...there are always other times. :D

     

    yes yes, and i do enjoy chicago quite a bit, it's been 2 years since i've been there though :P I'm thankful that this is october and not january though- traveling will be much easier without an icy mess :P

    I'm assuming you're wanting to go to the Toronto one?

    ohh not too far you say? well at least i'm slightly familiar with the area now and hey, i'll probably actually watch this show, unless, you know, he asks me to be Lady Jane and i can flop around onstage in fins...oo the possibilities... :naughty::teehee:

    and oh my goodness, the heart! Thank you for keeping it for me! i'm quite excited :wink2: gah! maybe i'll just compromise and go to all of the concerts.....hmm

    Chicago + Mika concert + birthday = awewsomeness! :yay:

     

    But Toronto is fantastic as well (of course I have no bias here :mf_rosetinted:). It might also mean we could exchange MMs without having to actually MAIL it to each other. :naughty:

    I actually haven't gotten around to listening to much of his music, howeeeeeever... one song i do have- "Angels" is an absolute favorite of mine i can listen over and over again. Love it:wub2:

     

    I'd probably like more now wouldn't I, any suggestions?

    Is "We Are Golden" a plagiarism song???

    I'll say that i thought it sounded familiar when i first heard it, but I couldn't place the other song so alas I decided that I was probably just remembering the snippets Mika gave us in his blogs.

     

    Seeing this, however, I still don't believe there is plagiarism. It is a fairly common chord progression found in more songs other than WAG and heaven is a place on earth. I think WAG fun, upbeat and entertaining, while HIAPOE (ha, funny acronym:teehee:) is meloncholy, kind of happy but mellow.

    I feel the need to add also, that in reding the book "how to read literature like a professor" there is a chapter called "there is only one story" about how literature has been so looked over that there is no more room for complete originality - in essence, everything has been written. The same may go for music, a chord progression here or there may match one of "this" song while one there may match one of "that other song" and so on. You just have to enjoy the different ways they have been put together because every chord, every note as been used before. yay again!

    oh i wanted to go to that one! it's only an hour away :boxed: but i have finaly starting tomorrow through friday and i need to study. Let us know how it goes! my boyfriend will be there with some of his friends too, i'm trying to get him to call me and let me listen a bit :naughty:
