  1. I'm too sweet and innocent to be in here for anything I've done....I'm just visiting Silver! ....oh, and expressing my surprise that Kelzy has not set up permanent residence
  2. I figured out a way around that ages ago Everytime I build up enough time off at work, I take the time and go during the week and during the day and there's next to no one there ....sometimes we even get the whole cinema to ourself ...that's the only time my friends will come with me because there isn't anyone there to see them Also, if you take your mum, you can go anytime and they just look at you like your sweet because you're taking you mum to the movies! For everyone's information, I am now enjoying an alcoholic slushy :lick_lips: ....well, it's actually my 6th but I'm not counting
  3. That was the first I had heard of Coraline too. Nertz to that.....I go whether I can drag along a child or not Maybe he / she can hook up with Sam the Koala and her boyfriend Bob and they can go on the road!
  4. *sneaks up behind you* BOO! I saw that and I can't wait to see it....I loved The Nightmare Before Christmas....and The Corpse Bride! He always makes blogs after I log out
  5. I got that e-mail too! Only mine said this: In Victoria the temperature has been above 4 4 degrees all week and they are forecasting another week of 40+ temperatures. Power is failing, trains have stopped running because tracks are buckling under the heat . It’s just scorchingand it seems that the people are not the only ones suffering. Check out these photos of a little Koala which just walked onto a back porch looking for a bit of heat relief. The woman filled up a bucket for it and this is what happened! I wonder how many other states this little fella visited
  6. Hamish & Andy gave the official website to thank the firefighters......for those interested. http://www.thankyoufiries.com/ I got it for the sport, music and UKTV *in sing-song kindagarteny voice* Hello Miss Kelzy
  7. I know! They said they would be collecting money but I didn't hear anything about the minute's silence. We will aboslutely be watching! Right there with you. I've been leaving it on Sky News all day, everyday. They've just said there are now 1,000 homes destroyed and the toll could exceed 300 people Hi Suzy
  8. The Japanese people just had a minutes silence for the Bushfire victims before the start of our world cup qualifier in Japan....and they've been collecting at the ground The national anthem made me bawl my eyes out. There is only 1,000 aussies there but they were even louder than usual. I'll definitely be a blubbering mess at the bushfire appeal game on Friday night!
  9. Zoidy! Glad to see you're safe Make sure you're a good girl and do everything you're supposed to do:wink2:
  10. I'm glad the smoke has cleared up and you're ok *crosses fingers for rain* So far so good for my Uncle and we're ok because we live in the burbs.
  11. Well, I hope for once they're not accurate because they're saying it's going to get alot worse. Tomorrow's forcast is supposed to be gusting winds. The just said on Channel 9 that arsonists are re-lighting fires that have already been put out. F***ing animals. Don't be sorry, just glad you're ok
  12. You guys are so sweet. I usually do like the greens but I have to agree with you here Teegs. My Uncle lives in Beaconsfield and the greens stopped the councils there and in the surrounding areas from doing preventative back burning prior to bushfire season which IMO was just ridiculous. Someone needs to start getting their information updated. ACcording to CFA and DSE websites, there is no threat to the residents of Won Wron.....Sky News just spoke to a CFA rep who was saying the fire is raging towards Won Wron and they expect it to impact directly over night
  13. Just popping in to make sure everyone is still ok My heart is with everyone in NSW & QLD too
  14. Hi all Wow there have been some great packages lately with some really cool stuff HK, you're doing MM....yay! Hope you're all doing well
  15. It creeps me out too. Most of the people that have gotten out have described it as a freight train. The toll is now 108. It's the stories of the survivors that really tip me over the edge. I had to go to bed last night, I couldn't watch anymore http://www.cfa.vic.gov.au/incidents/incident_updates.htm The alerts are at the top of the page but if you scroll down, it gives the details for each alert. Sorry Twatty, I didn't mean to worry you. With you 100%. The Queen and British Prime Minister have now sent mesasges and the PM has said that the UK will provide any assistance required.....that was nice too. I'm glad you're ok HK I will keep everything crossed for your friends and loved ones. Good girl....at least you're well prepared. Hi Blue Sky! Let us know if your family is ok. The CFA are always saying don't leave late but I suppose alot of people panic and think they can out run it Thank you I hope your family is ok too! Thank you
  16. There is no recommendation for people to leave South Morang. It was on Sky News and all they said was that they had set up relief stations etc in South Morang for the Whittlesea fires and were keeping watch for a change in the direction of the fire. I've been keeping an eye on the CFA website because they put regular alerts up on their website. DSE is another good site.
  17. I thought that, after I logged out Hurt a bit, did it? Tuning not going well dear? I would say Kelzy but everytime I blame her, it turns out to be someone else.....so I point the finger at OKD
  18. Welts? What the hell have I missed...what were you doing to get welts all over your body? Glad you had a great time.....tune away!
  19. Sky News has just updated the toll in Victoria to 76 and they're advising that it will climb well into triple figures. They also said that NSW coast is experiencing horrible winds again. Don't know if anyone other than Vics will know him but Brian Naylor is unaccounted for but the body of his wife has been found You poor bugger! I think we could all do with something to take our minds off the bushfires. How was your day? Did you have fun and have you got your ukelele?
  20. I know, I've been watching it all day and the stories are just horrific. Toll is up to 65 and they're saying to expect it to climb much higher. Marysville is gone completely....a whole town gone...just like that Oh, and you were spot on. I'm not in the fire zone. We live a good hour and a half from Whittlesea but I'd be thinking about getting out if I were in South Morang coz that's getting a bit close.
  21. Hi guys...I'm glad everyone is ok *hugs you all tight* We had some family friends in Kinglake but they're ok...house is gone but the main thing is they're ok. Channel 9 has just said that the winds have picked up again We've had bugger all rain here so far.
