    I'm exhausted physically and mentally but I managed to upload my pics:

    The concert was AMAZING!!!! :thumb_yello:

     

    The security of the venue were quite keen on the number system and once we got around 100 numbers they kept the list. Thanks to the girl that spoke with them in French (sorry I don't know your name!), and thanks to Jojotje for the help organising the people in order. Is true it was a bit early to start forming the queue, but it was when the security guys put some fences creating a corridor and there was already 70-something people there.

     

    I was the one recording the audience from the stage in Love You When You Are Drunk :blush-anim-cl: I think I'm still in shock!!!

    Thanks to Leire and Miri to help me jump to the stage, it wasn't too high but I'm rubbish at climbing!

    I tried to do my best with the video but my legs were shacking a bit, is very impresive to be in front of so many people and next to the man himself... so sorry if I the footage is not brilliant!!

     

    I'll post the video (and the rest I recorded) tomorrow when it finishes uploading :wink2:

    Another try then.

     

    We wandered through the centre of Brussels for quite a while, trying to find the venue and when we arrived the queue was already huge. We ended up in the back of the standing area, but we still had a good view.

     

    I loved the gig, the crowd was very enthusiastic and I really like the red balloons during The Origin Of Love. Had a fantastic day with Laurel, Shady and Weealx :wub2:

    The point here about where people apply from is quite clear: the Terms and Conditions state very clearly that it is only open to UK residents. End of.

    Anyone who is not a UK resident is not entitled to apply.

    No matter how much they believe that they "deserve" it, or that they travel from the Moon, these are the facts.

    The BBC themselves have stated (to someone who asked them) that they have not knowingly given tickets to anyone outside the UK, because they are not meant to be applying (as per the T&C's), so clearly, if people who don't live here win, they are doing so because they slipped the net, and not because the BBC are ok with it. They just don't expect people from outside to apply, and believed (naively, it seems) that by stating it in the rules, it would stop people from applying if they didn't fulfil the criteria.

     

    Who complained about Spanish and not the French mfcers who attended, and who is to say foreign nationals living in this country could not apply or attend, whoever allocated the winning tickets would have checked addressess they were sending notification to, who had the right to tell/ pressure Tiibet to give tickets to others, ok so who decides these things? The only people who can decide are the promoters or competition organisers working on the facts presented.

    It really is my pleasure ... it's an amazing book and deserves to go to a good home and not remain unopened somewhere in my room lol :wink2:

     

     

    I would like to nominate Carly, this poor child works hard, (according to what she told me), and YOU make her listen to non stop mika, therefore by her hearing more mika songs, she may even start to like him.

     

    You know who Carly is I do believe. lol

     

    this is not to suggest her name for the list, this is so you get your own back by telling her she has been named on MFC.

    to all those who read grumpy notes,

     

    Q. I get hacked off by those who think that 'celeberity' type people give a monkeys about those who buy tckets for gigs, records/cd's, they are people who happen to care about themselves, it is their job to make money, and lets face it they have a team around them to cater their every whim, in this case of MJ the guy never got to enjoy childhood or adulthood, strange his closest buddies were all former child stars, those who understand what it is to miss out on lifes pleasures.

     

    The planned gigs in London were not MJ saying thankyou for supporting me all these years, they were to help pay of debts.

     

    Live each day as though it were your last, never leave with bad feeling, laugh in the face of adversity.

    I knew you did, but I was trying to be polite! (As someone who spent 4 years studying to become a translator, I REALLY hate these programs :naughty:) Tell Heather she can also mail me if needed, or bug me on facebook. As a (language) teacher,I'll also be on hols during July and August and don't mind giving her lessons, or send her French texts or songs for example. :wink2:

     

    you could always adopt her, she is not as grumpy as her dad.

    P.S. First lesson: The adjective "beau" becomes "belle" if you're talking about a woman (or anything female) ;) Most other adjectives take a -E when they refer to a feminine noun so it'd be âgéE , for example ;)
