  1. All good Sir! I think I'm finally starting to recover a bit.

How are you? I'm no longer a stranger though am I? :mf_rosetinted:

no you are not a stranger, and my shoulder is your pillow, have I got you on myspace, if not why not?

anyway was good to see you

  2. The gig was brilliant but the Sparro himself...Niki stated it quite well :naughty:

It was so nice to meet you guys again! It´s always a pleasure

For the pics & vids, Sara my dear. I almost finished all the garibaldis you gave me :naughty:

Sarahlou, that sucks (pushing & the amazing tube system). I got deaf a few times with a girl with an incredibly pitchy voice screaming her lungs out :D

Alex, once again, lovely to meet you!! You missed the great arse the Sparro is! xDDD

hey it was great to meet you too, sams butt does nothing for me

meeting you lovely girls was better

look forward to meeting you all sometime soon.

  3. Mouhahahaha... well I actually sat inside the building doing nothing for 4 hours and then I sneaked outside and got home. No shouting in the cold for me, I was against this strike which 1) had undefined purposes 2) was totally useless. :naughty:

    myspace is awaiting your approval,

I do not agree with strikes that affect the general public, it would have to be serious for me to strike, and definately not if it affects the disadvantaged.

More power to you for standing by your beliefs.

  4. Not automatically. I remember asking about that when we went to V cause we didn't know exactly when we'd be able to catch the train to London and the guy at Euston station said not to worry, that our tickets would remain valid for like a couple of hours the next day.

*realizes she's turning into a tourist information desk*

*wonders if she should get a prison break-like tatoo with the London underground map on it*

    :blink::naughty:

Sarahlou, was great to meet you. I didnt realize it was pushy a few rows behind:thumbdown: We had loads of space front. I heard the people shouting tho ;)

Hello whichever of you is here tonight.

Did you stand outside work shouting at your employers

tourist information for you, I would be your worst customer

  5. Hi all, it was lovely to catch up with some familiar faces and meet some new ones at the weekend!!

Gig was great - me and my friend were at the side about 4 rows back and had quite a good view. There were a few inconsiderate people pushing in front of us, and dancing around shouting stuff out when SS was trying to speak...but I suppose this sort of thing happens at most gigs and there's not much that can be done about it!!! We didn't let it spoil the night though!

What did put a bit of a downer on things was the 3 hour journey home because of the appalling London underground system :badmood::hair:

took us about 1hours to get to you station, and we got the train from KingsX, although thinking about it,the train left after midight which I suppose meant our tickets were invalid, but who cares?

  6. This is a nice pic!:punk: Thanks.

They are nurses from the old peoples place, as you can see from the pic, 1 is holding me up, second holding me down, 3rd pacifying passing public, 4th is the one thinking about upping my medication

as qoted by me on the oldlings

  7. yes love him but didnt say anything in case everyone started to hate me

  8. Haha put that phone away, you're getting as bad as Rose!

Say hi to Sarah, Queenie and Niki for me, oh and weealx, I guess. :naughty:

sariflor and the girls were great to see, although the truth is out, all those lovelies and I could not speak, Niki, my daughter reckons you are in your early 20's so can we have the truth, please

  9. Oooh his outfits were just crazy :roftl: - Wait until you see Black And Gold, he looks like an eagle or something:mf_lustslow:.

He was interacting with the audience quite a bit, and he came down a couple of times and started touching people's hands, but then hard and someone pulled his hand too it sort of dragged him into the crowd, which is when he seemed to think that it was best to retreat to the stage again.

He didn't look very athletic while climbing up again, I must say :bleh:.

It was a really good gig. I am putting up the rest of them as we speak to just keep checking my YT page for them!

At one point during Sick, he gave me TONS of eye contact, looking me straight in the eye for an ETERNITY!! It was really cool.

    Hi all,

to the girls I met, and rescued me and the kids from the wrong Q, the idiot who grabbed his hand and tried to pull him into to the crowd was the guy with ginger hair who was behind you in the Q outside.

Hope you all had a great time and got home safely

That's a cool plan!! If I'm there at the time, I mght joing in...:fisch:

Hey SS! Don't worry, I didn't take your posts as anything other than a discussion!! As for between me and weealx, I wouldn't call his posts "friendly" - that's what I tackled him on it.

Oh, btw, I think nico_collard was saying that you shouldn't send a link to weealx, not that you shouldn't post a report here! (That's how I interpreted it anyway)

    Hi! :bye:

I didn't see it as a fight; as I explained, I felt he was rude and attacked someone and I felt compelled to challenge him on that. As I said in my post to Niki, I support discussion as long as it's done in way that respects other people.

    Welcome!

Weealx, once again, I reiterate that no one here has a problem with you having different views from anyone here, but as I explained already, my problem was with your tone and your insults. I clearly pointed out exactly where I thought you were mocking and insulting someone here, and interestingly, you didn't respond to that post, you simply completely changed your tone and the direction of your argument.

I hope we can all move on. :thumb_yello:

nothing has changed from my point of view, not the tone or content, perhaps somewhere posts are being interpretated from a different angle.

  16. Hey guys

Could someone tell me why there is so much fighting on a religious thread? If you don't agree with other peoples' views, don't post, simple as that!

And yes, I am a Christian.

    bambam :thumb_yello:

btw - Why look onto a thread entitled 'Any Christians?' looking for argument?

If the post refers to me, then i will post my opinion, if this or any thread is for people who all share identical views, there would be no posts, except for "I agree"

look out for my weekly post or sermon, depending on the weather

  17. First up, I want to say this. I don't come on here to talk about Mika. I come on here to talk to my friends, not only from Australia, but my friends from the US and Ireland.

To be completely honest, Mika's blogs bore me, especially since a lot of people think he's so wonderful and kind and lovely. Great for those people. I don't consider Mika a god. He's not that important. Besides, God doesn't decide that Australia is too far away to come and visit his "fans". If other people worship Mika as a god that's their choice. I don't, and these girls don't either. You're making generalisations. Get to know us before you do that next time.

Secondly, I do not give a sh!t about your opinions either. You obviously don't care about what other people's feelings. You have insulted other people on here. You're a coward for coming on here and attacking religion.

And I don't care if anyone says I'm overreacting.

Ha ha. Oh, it's so hilarious. :sneaky2:

I don't think they should bother.

    I totally agree with you.

Sweet! I would love to see it...

Very dedicated... my sister read most of the Old Testament. Apparently she liked it cause of the sex and violence :naughty:

I think so too... I feel a bit better after replying to that crap.

Exactly right. I guess I should feel bad about missing church occasionally, but I try and make up for it by meditating and stuff...

so now I am a coward, how do you work that out? so anyone who does not agree with your word must be wrong, I did not come on here attacking anyone, merely replying to what I was reading, and I did not use the word SH*T, may be iterpretated as that but left all to make up thier own minds.

So Greenbelt, a christian youth festival is not good, so when did you go to it?

and you say I am the one without a clue, at least I think for myself and stand for the debate, you can say what you want about me, see I dont use others to speak for me because I have opinions an a lot of subjects, and always willing to listen to others.

    have a nice day

  18. First off, obviously I don’t know you in real life so the only way I can form an impression of you is through your posts. So if you care about what impression you make on people, maybe you should make your posts clearer.

If I don’t understand this “context” you speak of, please explain it to me. All I can see is someone who has never posted in this thread coming in and offending people and their beliefs. Let me make myself clear: everyone has a right to post in this (or any) thread; what I don’t appreciate is the tone.

You say that your post questions the subject rather than mocks or insults?? Saying “if you believe so much, why are you here?” is not only criticising that person’s presence here but is also mocking their beliefs when you don’t know all the details. Calling someone’s beliefs “crap” is mocking, in my opinion. Your remark, “instead of wanting to get help, you probably carry pics of Quentin in your wallet, he has no hotline to god” strikes me as insulting. And please don’t try to say that “o i think i need help, i will turn to god, jesus saves, dont worry ronaldo nets the rebound” is not mocking! Do you not think that saying “I do not give a 5hit for your opinions” could be seen as insulting?

You don’t think that calling someone “some crank” is an attack?

My clear explanations here are the reasons I interpreted your posts as ignorant. As I made clear in my response, of course you are entitled to your opinion; I would never call someone ignorant for expressing an opinion. It was your tone and disparaging remarks that I believe were ignorant.

Point taken, SS :thumb_yello: And I stand by what I said: I would never try to impose my beliefs on anyone; I respect people's choices.

I am not blessed with good grammar, I write as I speak, I have know the church from the inside, and know lots of christians walk away from those less fortunate, and to prove this, I invited some homeless people to my old church, and asked them to sit in different parts, the people who normally sat in the pews and around the pews found somewhere else to sit that Sunday, only a few spoke and spent time with my homeless friends.

  19. Greenbelt was really good. Had a lovely lazy time with my church group, got writing again, heard some good talks. Found it musically challenged though- stuck in the 70s and very folky. Found I was too old for speed dating (by 8 months) and for the good music (by 29 years).

I guess it wasn't you then, but I sure saw a lot of Christians in the "Any Atheists" thread. Mind, one thing I didn't see was many atheists, most people seeming to say they believed in some sort of higher power one way or another.

Hey SS I thought you would like Greenbelt, it is perhaps not your choice for next year, and by the way you are never to old to do what you want to do.

An Atheist thread, god what will come next
