    YOU'VE BEEN LOGGING IN AND LOGGING OUT OF THE MFC SINCE FOREVER AND NOT LEFT BECAUSE YOU THINK MIKA ISNT DOING MUCH THATS INTERESTING LATELY. BASICALLY, YOU'VE STUCK WITH HIM ALL THE WAY THROUGH, EVEN WHEN HE WENT FOR WEEKS W/O SAYING ANYTHING. THATS THE COOL THING WITH THE MFC. WELL ONE OF THE COOL THINGS. WE ALL STAY AND TALK ON THE FORUMS FOR THE PLEASURE OF TALKING TO SMEONE ELSE WHO LOVES MIKA MORE THAN ANYTHING AND WE REJOICE TOGETHER WHEN THE SMALLEST AMOUNT OF NEWS ARRIVES. I SAY, WE RULE.

    LOL I just re-read an old thread where I was talking to Fmbm before I went to my Mika gig last year and I really don't understand why but it just brought back all this weird excited feeling I used to get when I went on the MFC and it felt so great I promise you.

     

    Does anyone get that or is it just me ? I mean it hadn't done it for a long time as if the novelty of belonging to the MFC had worn off but .. I dno.

    Guess who's treating us this evening? Mika. What ? Yes, Mika. And the singer knows how to receive. Despite two years of madness which he has just lived, the star had the delicate idea, the day before yesterday, to invite to table seven journalists in la Fidélité, a restaurant near the east station ( Xth Bets). Those who believed from the outset in his "Life in Cartoon Motion", in early 2007, which sold over a million copies in France.

    "I wanted to spend some time with the people who have supported me from the very beginning," he announces in a french which is almost always perfect. "It's really my first language, I lived here until the age of 7."

Mika tucks in and now's the time for more secrets.

    "I'm trying to find a house about an hour away from Paris, in the countryside. I want to spend six months in Paris and six months in London. I'd like to find something around Fontainebleau." Dessert now and the artist remembers his last concerts in France: the Parc des Princes, the Francofolies de La Rochelle, "one of the best of the tour ". He hadn't returned to Paris since, despite of appeals from the foot of the Elysee.

    It's after midnight. The meal is finished. The musician wants to make us listen to some tracks off his next album. Through them, we discover an incredibely relaxed Mika, daring things in technicolor. A special mention to "We Are Golden", an impressive pop symphony which would make one ruffling single, "Touches", a ballad which is as tender as it is brilliant, or "Rain", a more ambitious younger sister of " Relax, Take it Easy ". Delicious treats to finish off a dinner which is really, like no other.

    I can't believe it's taken so long for the ring to be mentioned, LOL. When I first saw the picture I thought THAT would be the talking point, not LadyG!

    I think it was last year, when he wore a ring for an awards thingy, he wore a ring on his right hand and people were freaking out and asking what finger is the wedding finger? Is it different in Europe etc.

    Well in the pic with LG, it was on the third finger of his left hand. That is deffinately the wedding finger in England! He WAS in England btw.

    I'm so surprised it's taken so long for people to start talking about it. But if people think it's his mum's ring, maybe that's understandable.

     

    people were talking about it before but just not really a lot, we've been scared once, we've learnt our lsson :thumb_yello:
