  1. Emilie! Nice to hear from you! eh....bon d'écouter de toi :roftl:.

    On va continuer ici.

    We will go on here.

After today I will be also on holiday for a few days but after that I will come back here! :thumb_yello:

  2. Wendy, bienvenue ici! :punk:

And of course welcome also to the other new students here :original:.

(our teacher is on holiday but we can practise here till she is back) (and after she's back also).

Anyone who wants to correct my French words if nessecary: feel free! :naughty:

  3. Oh merci! je compred maintenaint....soo oh no....it's not working....

You have to keep pressing the alt button as you press the numbers. Hopefully it'll work now, or maybe you have a different keyboard in the States as well .

Notre classe s'agrandit:thumb_yello: I'm studying French and English languages and literatures at uni, to become a.... teacher!!!:punk:

Ah, c'est pour ca notre classe est un succès :thumb_yello:.

Bonnes vacances Emilie, je vais être en vacances aussi, a partir de demain. Mais on peut pratiquer ici quand tu es partie, filles.

I will also not be so much online during my holiday but I will be able to pop in every now and then, let's keep on talking/writing French here, it's for a good cause (among other things): being able to understand Mika's inteviews in Frech !:punk:

  4. yay!:boing: je suis tres [excited]:naughty:Comment-puis j'obtenir le accents pour le mots?:bleh:

Il y a des combinations sur le (keyboard) alt 032 etc. Je les ne connais pas tous mais è for example est alt 023 et é est alt 0233. Je ne connais pas encore le cedille.

I think the French speaking countries have a different keyboard, they don't have to make combinations, am I right Emilie?

  5.

Ha ha, I have a teacher soul.

You definately have! What are you studieing? It'll only take weaks before we have got to pay you, lots!:naughty:

Notre classe grosse (c'est pas le bon mot, je crois, since the class is not getting fat but the word I'm looking for is growing)!

And when I'm done writing I will use the French spelling check instead of the English one I usually do here :naughty:. But that's OK since you learn a lot from the spelling check, I discovered.

M*rd*.

  7. Oh cool!!! Yeah, Biel/Bienne:wink2: I did my high school there!

Mmmh, a French class thread, why not? hehe, I'll maybe do one!

Count me in :thumb_yello:. It will be a bit difficult to translate French into English into Dutch (for my poor brains) but that's not going to stop me from trying. My mother always translates Dutch words into French (and vice versa) by first translating them into Swiss-German in her head and then translating them back into French since she has learned it that way. She can't translate Frech/Dutch directly. Funny.

  8. Eh hi!!!:biggrin2:

I live between Basel and Bienne, in Moutier. Do you speak French?

    Nice to meet you!!!:)

Nice to meet you too :original:.

I remember the name Bienne on the boards on the auto route in Switzerland: Biel/Bienne.

I speak French a little since my nieces and nephew only speak French. But I'm not really good at it, I would love to be better at it though. Maybe you can start a little class in French on the forum :bleh:. My father is Dutch and my mother is Swiss, she was born and raised in Bern.

mika-fan1001: I love that picture of Grey Skelly who is breaking his/her arm, I was there but didn't see it happen since I stood in the back of the field.

    .

  9. I say these blogs are turning to commercials :naughty:

Expect sthg like this next time:

HEY! I'm enjoying a diet coke wearing my St James Tshirt and wearing my raybans next to the swimming pool of the Hilton so I thought I would open my Macintosh to write a blog. I've just been to a art exhibit of artists I really like (insert 10 names here), you can buy their stuff online, I might just do it lol. The sun is burning so I've just covered myself with Nivea cream... I like Nivea, I also use it for my hair before curling it with the Babyliss 1450.

Btw if any of the above sponsors could send me free stuff that would be nice. (Especially Babyliss, my old device seems to be going crzay and my curls look like a mess lately)

P.S. What? Asking doesnt hurt, haven't I told you how much money I spent on the Paris show??? I'm broke!

    :naughty:

    Lol :roftl:.

  10. Nice to see another Dutch girl who has been to the Westerpark gig en who has found the MFC. The gig was great, wasn't it. And the interview with Jensen also! Have you seen the interview at Lowlands 2007 with Mika and Eric Corton, I think that's my favorite Mika interview. If you haven't seen it, it's on youtube (of course).

By the look of your photograph I can tell you were way closer to the stage then I was. I was standing in the back, couldn't see much of wath was happening on stage (every now and then my tall boyfriend lifted me up in the air so I could see a bit, my excuses to the people who were standing behind me) it's a good thing there were big screens.

  11. I found out about this forum about 2 weeks ago when I was searching the internet for pictures from the gig in Westerpark, where I was. Since then, I visited this forum every day, since I like the atmosphere here (compliment to you all) and of course the info and footage of Mika.

My poor RSI wrist is already having a hard time and I’m afraid it’ll get only worse now I’m registered :wink2:.

I am half Dutch, half Swiss and I live in the center of the Netherlands, 45 minutes driving from Amsterdam. I live with my boyfriend and our cat and I am a Fitness/Pilates/ Les Mills Body balance teacher.

I liked Mika and his music already before the gig in Amsterdam but since then I am Mikafied so it’s a good thing I found you all to share it with :thumb_yello:.
