u know what? i think mika will have a blast too if he gets the idea... he's crazy as we are and he enjoys life with humour. I can't imagine him getting mad at this.

Mika & Dr. Suess

 

I know I've been into a lot of kinetic and other modern art lately, but I must say, I think of all the brilliant, artistic minds I've ever seen, the one that stands out the most for me would be none other than Dr. Suess.

 

There's just something about the way he told such a story with a single colour - green eggs, green ham, what more could you ask for? And his characters. So different, yet something so similar. The man is a genius.

 

Take this Truffula Tree, from The Lorax. So simple, yet so meaningful. And I like the fact that it reminds me of a nice, pink lollipop:

 

 

Or the iconic Cat in the Hat. Now, he's brilliant indeed. His naughty smile makes ME smile. LOL!

 

 

So it is based on this that I am happy to announce the name of my next album: One Fish, Two Fish, Brown Fish, Violet Sky Fish. In honour of the late Dr. Suess. I can't wait for you all to hear it.

finally i understood how to create a new thread!!! so here i am introducing myself. You can tell my name is Andrea and im from Chile. I met Mika's music during the summer and it changes my point of view in life, honest!

Im 28 years old, and at first i refused to go back to my school days and turn into a teenager fan, though after months living this weird obsession about mika's world, i couldn't resist any more and got registered in MFC. I had to admit it girls, Mika makes me feel like im back in my 15s!!!

I think i already know some of you, cos i've read each and every comment in mika's blog, so i feel almost part of MFC since ever.

oh!! and i'd love to meet the MFC in sydney or melbourne when i get to australia in september (ill be on work and holiday for one year).
