  1. Here is a short report from me:

I went to Pinkpop with Shady. It was for both our first festival. We saw Kate Nash and after she was done we tried to get as far as we could to get to the front. During Slash we got some more to the front and after Slash was over we made it to the second row. We were on the right side ot the podium. We couldn't get front row because where we were there were all standing Pink fans. We couldn't find MFC-ers. We didn't really enjoyed standing there. There was lots and lots of pushing :sneaky2:

But it was all worth it, because when Mika started... He was amazing and so was his band. He looked great. I liked what he was wearing. His white pants with his red-white-striped t-shirt. When he took his shirt off before WAG started I went :swoon: He looks so great.

I saw his sister somewhere at the back of the stage watching him. She was smiling a lot.

After Mika was over we tried to get out of the audiance. That was hard. Even mere pushing for Pink. We watched Pink from a distance. She was amazing. The last act of Pinkpop was The Prodigy. We didn't really liked that so then we went home.

After this day I must say that I don't think I'm really a festival type. I'm curious how the TW Classics is.

  2. Can someone explain to me the bit where Mika says "I love what you're implying in that last question," in response to Christian asking about Las Vegas?

I had pondered that too. I think he's saying that Mika's shows are like Vegas, a charming lack of quality and professionalism.

    Christian:

"I found that the shows in Las Vegas, are, after all, worthwhile. It reminds me of when I was younger, going to shows in Paris, and how I was always surprised by the great lack of quality and professionalism, which is so charming."

"Do you often go to Las Vegas?"

I thought that he meant something like ''go to Vegas with me'' :naughty:

  3. Hi everyone !

Well I'm looking for that vid .... hmm regard to my english level it will be hard to explain... (btw smilies doesn't work tonight)

It was an interwiew of Mika (i think on a morning show) and one of the presenters was wearing some woman clothes' date=' he wore woman stockings and high-heels ><

    Thanks a lot ;-)[/quote']

In this show the presenter wore woman clothes. That says the comment. But I could only find the vid of Mika performing, you can't really see it. Don't know if you meant this one?

  4. We also stood in the rain to wait for Mika :) Nice to talk to the girl who gave Mika that rubber duck ;-)

Hope to meet other Mika fans at the next concert. Unfortunately I cant come to Pinkpop but pherhaps at the next one. :)

T4P :thumb_yello: You stood very close to me. At the end of the video you can see Mika getting a marzipan tulp and a little box with chocolats from me :wub2:

  5. That requires being able to read one:naughty:

When it said his phone had run out, did that mean his battery was flat?

Fancy going off out, without a fully or at least partially charged battery!:teehee:

    Yes, his battery was empty.

Just bought the AD to read the whole artikel.

At the end they wrote: the highlight was in the closing song: a buried under a balloon version of Lollipop. For Mika himself broke the party apart when he was back in his favorite part of The Netherlands: the Amsterdamse Jordaan. ''There I know lots of fun pubs. With who I go? Alone. At least then you meet new people.''

I hope the translation is understandable.

But does this mean he went to pubs after the gig? Because he looked so tired and the next night he had a gig in Luxembourg.

But if it is true, we know what we have to do after a next Mika gig in Amsterdam. Gonna party in the Amsterdamse Jordaan. Maybe we will run into Mika then :naughty:

  6. There's a review in the Utrecht part of the AD newspaper about the gig. It is reasonably positive and it says that Mika was delayed since he got lost in Amsterdam, trying to find his favorite furniture shop by his own :teehee:.

Then he couldn't find a cap and but a lady in a cafe helped him to get one. He didn't have enough money for the taxi but I'm sure John took care of that :naughty:.

Did anyone else read reviews in newspapers about the gig?

    <<processing>>

Too late? He started 21:00, right on time :thumb_yello:

Funny google: Amsterdam is translated by London :naughty:. I didn't change that in the translation.

    That made me giggle :naughty:

Maybe we should give him a map of Amsterdam if he comes to there again. The show started on time, but if he ever want to see something here again before a gig, he will be there on time.

That's why don't get lost in strange cities.

  7. Great pictures, Marly! What kind of camera do you have? :teehee:

    Thanks :blush-anim-cl:

    I have a Panasonic DMC-ZX3.

I only have since a month. I still have to learn how to use it good at gigs. Especially when there isn't much light. The pictures from after the gig are really bad. We weren't allowed to use flash. Should go practise making pictures in the dark.

The filming is really good. It films in HD
