- Jeanette the 'Iphone protector thing' looks wonderful. Do you use it? I wouldn't: I would be to scared to damage the protector.

- Sopepperminty: Wow, did you draw this during your exam period? I'm always to stressed out, to draw anything properly in that period. Like it a lot!

- Inbar_assaf: I can visualise the Blue Eyes girl, it's nearly finished, love it. The way you drew Toy Boy fits really into the song, like the way you approached it. And don't give up on Lady Jane; the body pose is great, you only have to sort out how to draw the upper body part!

Tank yoo XD - It's a piece of water colour paper my mother never used. It's a combination of marker, paint and colored pencil and various types of pen ink.

I L-O-V-E it so far! The colours are delicious.

ha ha ha I nearly changed the gig part to mentioning texas but I was so wrapped up in trying to say everything right that I forgot. I think I still said thelyrics somewhat diffrently than they were written. but close enough.

please don't spam him by tweeting the same stuff over and over again if i was him, i'd just extra-ignore it if someone did that. :rolls_eyes: apart from that, as he's on holiday now, he'll probably take some time off twitter anyway and won't see it, no matter how often you tweet it.

about the singing, you all have lovely voices, especially one of them that i've listened to yesterday, can't remember who it was... that's the main thing, and apart from that, singing has a lot to do with techniques and practising, and ok also with hitting the right notes - but that's also a question of the song, some are just a lot more difficult to sing than others. but you all did a fab job, it doesn't hurt the ears and it's possible to recognize the song, that's the main thing here. i couldn't be bothered either to prepare my voice or practise for my recording, after all it's fun and not work.

 

btw, i have the indistinct feeling that we're a bit OT on this thread...

yeah! And also, when I was doing it I was terrified everyone would hate it because, (i sing ... er a LOT!! in public, just randomly in class or walking down the street) and my best friend is always telling me to shut up and that my singing hurts her ears...

 

It always hurts my feelings, but then I go home and boot out Grace Kelly and my mom says "You should take lessons."

 

it's confusing, I know I'm not good, but I know I'm not THAT terrible...

I know there are some songs I can sing and some I can't .I can do Happy Ending, Blue eyes. One of the reasons I like the beatles so much is I can sing most of Paul McCartney's songs. However I only do it for my enjoyment cuz my dad tells me I suck lol.

Haha I know that too:aah: It's because we hear our own voice differently and then on a record it's like for everyone else, which is strange to us:teehee: I've been told that multiple times...

I get recorded at work and then talked about it so I'm slightly more used to it. it STILL squicks me out. I wonder if he'll respond to them. This would be the reason I get my first tweet from him. I'm so proud of everyone who's done it so far. It takes a bit of guts to get out there and do that. But a little bit of Foolishness is perfect at Christmas time.

I bit the bullet and twittered mine. Thank god it doesn't show up on my facebook when I reply to someone.

I knowwwww It's from being near my Papa. I've been here since I was five.. if I hadn't lived here I'd be in Oklahoma and I'd have a Oklahoma accent. So Crazy.

I'm fine with it being tweeted to Mika. the silliness has already been done so it's perfectly fine. I was waiting for the other girls to make a decision on what they were going to do. Saftey in numbers and all that XD

Well I've been involved in singing and music all my life and of course you can sing, don't get fooled by the circumstances behind your recording, any singer would have difficulties given the ones you have here, we're not talking studio environment exactly, this is good stuff.
