you have a really handsome hubby there wonka! and so sweet of him to drive with you to madrid for the gig! you're really lucky! just talked about it with a friend today, that it's amazing how many hubbys + boyfriends support the mika craze of their women ... or even are mika crazy themselves (like standardtoaster, for example). great, one more point on my list that my dream guy needs to have, that he supports (or at least accepts) my mika craze - as if it wasn't already hard enough to find a guy!

My husband rocks as well, I was supposed to stay with him in a seated place, and I already knew that being amongst fans it's not the same as being with hubby, as much as you love him! To husband! not to Mika!

But I had to meet basicamenteyo and Carla as they are not from here, and knowing the Bcn girls will show up around noon I thought they would be feeling quite weird among strangers so I decided to join. And I was eaaaaaggeerrr r to meet them . But as soon as I got there I took the number, called my hubby, asked if he didn't mind me staying with the girls and he said: "I know that this makes you really happy, I don't mind at all, go ahead!! I'll get close to you before the gig to say hello, eat at dinner time with me if you want, if not then have dinner with your friends, and I call you after the gig, let me know if you stay with them in a chance of a m&g or if you prefer going back home with me."

Sure you don't mind?

AT ALL!! enjoy it!! Front row has to be amazing for what you said about London and Berlin.

I was trying to take pics of the m&g Mika gave, wasn't successful (rest of the pics prove it) but I didn't notice you there until now!!

Anyway is very dark and unfocused, I didn't put the right settings, bought the camera only 2 weeks ago. It's been proving to be cool for vids but I have to learn about pics as it has lots of new features

It was such a GREAT concert. Everything was fantastic.

My sista was one of the Lollipops girls, I can't believe it yet hahaha she's so shy but she had no problem to appears in front of 8.000 people...

Anyway... I love how Mika said all in Spanish. That's great cos my english is limited And his smile in every moment makes me fall in love again and again

just watched bb and dr john ... don't really get what he's doing at the beginning of bb? that thing he has there & then throws away, does it belong to the show?

and dr john... i preferred the old intro, and the small hat and his movements with the smaller version of the coat (it appears that this long one is really heavy, so he can't move around much...) - but it looks funny when he puts imma under the coat with him (thus the longer version of the coat i guess...) and i LOVE it how the feathers glow in the uv light in the end!

Probably you won't believe it but I haven't had the time to rewatch the show!! And I'm eager to do it after reading the interpretations you are giving to the new show, as I said my only aim there was enjoy it no matter what ..and try and not shake the camera too much

To bad I had the piano in front of me so I couldn't see the whole "moon" in the middle of the stage, so probably I missed some details...

46.... yes I don't know if I talked to you... I was 57 and my friend 56 we were at the beginning in two little blue chairs...maybe you remember that... I'm quite small and my friend is tall, and we spent most of the time with the number 60...and when the queue was divide in four I was in the last queue...I know is really difficult to remember the people but who knows...

Wow! I remember the chair, yes, but not the people on them So I'm sure we saw each other but didn't speak, I don't remember number 60 but my friends were numbers 61 to 68 more or less

just found the talk before toy boy, filmed from the video screen so the picture quality is quite good... sound quality, not so much.

can someone please roughly translate what he's saying? i understand that he says toy boy looks like from the addams family (and guess before that he said "he was supposed to look like me" ), and that part after, is it that this is his fave part of the show? and the rest i don't understand at all.

he said in some interviews before that he has shoes that shoot sparks if he kicks his heels together. well, it certainly wasn't the white converse shoes he was wearing at the beginning of the show.

poor mika, all that work with his exploding shoes, and you guys didn't even notice! nah, no idea if he really used them, maybe he already broke them.

 

and nevermind about your videos - just post them! the songs we haven't seen anything of yet are billy brown (only a photo), good gone girl (if he sang it) and dr john.

Thanks for posting the m&g clip, maybe some of you know that most of we MFCers decided not to get close to Mika because of the massive crowd and Mika being (perfectly comprenhensible) tired. So we were at the other side of the road, watching at a distance, on our own and enjoying it big time!! Oh my, Yuls! you're crazy!!!!

Thanks for the tip , I'm already passing the clips to the pc, renaming, etc etc So Dr John will be the 1st, Billy Brown 2nd, and if I see GGG it'll be 3rd - again, not sure if he sang this one.

Btw I have been watching some bits and pieces of some of the clips everybody is posting here (many thanks!!!) and they are really AMAZING!! People has made incredible quality clips! Comparing with them I think mine will be rubbish, I tell you!! because they were front row center and I was front row left and the funny thing...... when I post mine you'll prolly see that sometimes Mika's head is OUT of the frame (can't really know how to say that in English, that's the reason I never report) because when I watched him real I forgot to move my camera on hand according to it LOL and I couldn't help it I wanted to record but I wanted to watch Mika as well

@mellody I can give you the setlist as soon as I check my clips because I recorded just EVERYTHING so they are in order in the camera . It's been a crazy day and I was fangurling a lot with husband, commenting just every little detail. He watched the show seated cause finally I prefer going standing, being amongst MFCers and in front row is great!!

I'm sure if I stayed with hubby I would have enjoyed the gig in a very different way and of course not that crazy!!

As for the rest of your questions, wow! I haven't tried to understand Mika new show yet, it was a shock after shock, haven't had the time to digest everything, but I'm sure somebody will be able to tell you more

@Melisanda, ummm I don't remember GGG but to be sincere I may be wrong cos I was "too busy" trying to do a good recording, I said.. trying not sure if I made it because as I told mellody I haven't checked my clips yet apart from the intro and Over My shoulder that I have already posted.

This gig was such a different gig then the one in Barcelona, mainly because Mika was more at ease and completly out of his mind!!!!!!

He was clearly enjoying himself yesterday, messing up few songs lyrics and nearly falling on stage few times.. he was full of energy and all the stress he seemed to be under in Barcelona was released in this gig.

 

We were a small group of mfcers there tht included Me, The Black Queen, Hator, Basicamenteyo, and the the representetive of Wonka land- Mr. & Mrs. Wonka..We were all in front a bit to the left and we were having a lovely time together.

 

The gig was an explotion of energy from start to finish, it was a nice thing to be able to see the gig so close after nearly 2 years of no Mika gigs at all.. so it was also an emotional moment for me.

I was not at my best health as i suffered from a very very bad pain in my legs and i want to thank the lovely Willy Wonka for being so sweet to me yesterday.

 

After the gig was finished, we wanted to say hello and thank you to Mika but it was impossible, as by the time we got out from the venue there were at least 100 people or more even waiting for him...

 

This was probably the best gig i have ever been in, it is full of stories, colors and emotions..this was probably my last Mika gig for the forseeable future, and it was well worth the trip and everything envolved.

 

It was also a hard & bitter sweet gig as there were people who had to be here with us and because the bloody volcano ash they were not able to be.

 

I will post pics and videos over the weekend.

when i heard "over my shoulder" i almost fainted. i wasn´t a lover of this song,but when i heard it,my mind changed. I thought "wow,I´ve been fangurling so much with this boy,just listening to his music and watching naughty pics... and right now what i really want is sit with him with a cup of tea,and try to guess what´s in his creative head..." i felt like in other dimension...

just wanna say that vids on youtube don´t do justice to him. in the videos you can´t feel the energy which comes from him... i think i´m still shocked...

no wait for the meet&greets ´cause i needed to drive back home.

It's a lovely report yours and totally second it. You basically did the best thing to do... drive home...cos the m&g was too crowded and most of us decided not to get close to him and not be taking more of his (precious) time. But we were in the other side of the street on our own, enjoying ourselves
