  2. I just had a look at trains and there are some direct ones:

    Portsmouth Harbour: 15:29, 16:29, 16:40

    Portsmouth & Southsea: 15:33, 16:33, 16:46

    Are you planning to catch the train back that night - that might be trickier.

    If you look here, you will see where station is in relation to Brighton Centre: http://www.brightoncentre.co.uk/scripts/i5.exe?book=bc022006&page=Find.BCMap

    Thanks!! Really helpful!!!! Just one last question, just to be annoying, any idea what time it would finish? Because, yes, I am going to try and get the train back.... I've had a quick check of the ones later on, but none of them (after 11 anyway) would get me back in time for the last boat to the Isle of Wight!!!! Oh, the joys of living on an Island!!!!!!!

    Anyway, thanks again. :biggrin2::biggrin2:

  3. Never been to this venue before... never actually been to Brighton before... So, a couple of questions....

    Anyone know if you can get a train from Portsmouth to Brighton without changing?!?!? I'll be going after school which finishes at 3pm. Hoping that there'll be a train that gets me there on time!!

    And second, is the train station in walking distance? I can always get a taxi or something, but was kinda hoping there wouldn't be much more on top of the price of the tickets?

    Thanks.

  4. That would be me.

    I was at Bestival this year too, over by the left hand speaker at the barrier. It was a good show:thumb_yello:

    Welcome to the crazy house:wink2:

    I was also by the left hand speaker!!! We probably saw each other! Lol :biggrin2:

  5. Hi, I'm PunkiePenguin from the Isle of Wight in the UK.

    My mum bougt Life in Cartoon Motion when it first came out, because she liked Grace Kelly, so I put it on my iPod, but I didn't listen to it much. I tended to listen to more depressing stuff, like My Chemical Romance. Then I went to the Isle of Wight Bestival (pretty much a music festival that's more family orientated for those of you who haven't heard of it) in 2009 where MIKA was playing on the Saturday. Me and my best friend were right at the barrier and it was AMAZING!!!!!! So now we are both obsessed!!!!!

    MIKA is pretty much the only thing I listen to on my iPod. It's great on my paper round in the morning!

    Hopefully, I'm going to go to Brighton on the 3rd of March to see MIKA because he was so amazing live at the Bestival!!!!!
