Bij mij hetzelfde, gister meegedaan en nog steeds geen mail en kon niet nog een keer meedoen. Waar heb je naar toegemaild, kon geen adres op de site vinden.

Maar even een tube gel gekocht, geen idee of het wat is maar je moet er wat voor over hebben.

You had a wonderfull time, Ive been to so many concerts but Ive almost met noone, only all the members from Within Temptation and Epica and of course MIKA.

3 long solos.... my fave. is the one bumblefoot did... as always!

Of course I remember him, Bumblefoot did the last solo and was wearing the fur hat too at the show.

Finaly after 23 years of waiting I saw GNR.

We had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes longer then planned and that was realy funny because we got an email from the organization that the band wanted to start 30 minutes earlier, yeah sure But the waiting was worth it.

It was an amazing show, the crowd went mad, we had seated places because I wouldn't be crushed against the fence. They did my favorite song of C D, This I love, they started at 22.15 and ended at 00.40, so it was a long show, there were 3 long gitarsolo's and one long pianosolo but I enjoyed every second of it. I don't know the setlist because it was very long and can't remember them all. He didn't talk much, don't know if he was talkative at the other shows.

One guy jumped from the gallery down into the crowd, I thought he was dead but he walked into the crowd and didn't see him anymore so I don't think he was hurt.

Afterwards we went straight home because we had to drive for 2 1/2 hours and I don't think Axl would've come after the show for signing anything.

I realy hope we don't have to wait for a long time before they come to Holland again.

I'm a fan since I was 15, didn't see him in the past years, have been to so many other concerts of different bands and artists,

tomorrow I'm gonna see Within Temptation and last week I saw Guns 'n Roses, that was realy AWESOME, wrong thread.

I've seen him in Ahoy and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam! The last concerts I couldn't see, because I was abroad at that time!

I've only seen him many times in Ahoy, and once in Belgium, and he did a show with Eric Clapton, Elton first and then Eric, I think that was in De Kuip.

The last time I saw him was a solo show, but I prefer a big show.

I didn't know there was a thread about Elton John! I've been a fan of Elton since his single Lucy in the Sky. My God, that's a long time ago!

I've seen him several times at concerts here in the Netherlands. the first time was in 1977, in Amsterdam, Concertgebouw. I've spoken with him after the concert. He even invited me and my friend to come to his afterparty! But my parents wouldn't let us!

 

In those days my father worked in several international hotels in Amsterdam. And there he saw Elton John more than ones. He got several presents from Elton, I treasure these! it's a wine bottle (the wine we drank!) and photo's with signature, and a lovely picture disc!

We've been to the same concerts then, I'm a fan since his duet with Kiki Dee in 1976.

I've seen him several times too, I don't remember when was the first time, and how many times.

His shows are always a plearure to see.

edit: I did miss the contact with the other MFC'ers. Apart from Jazzy Miek and I bumped into no one (tho we saw Biekje and Rebecca standing close to us).

Same for me, I only saw Sylvana, Patricia and Dutchie.

I know, I parked my car at C4 and couldn't find it anymore, I walked 1.5 hours to find the right parkingplace, stupid me.

Yes i did, but we were wayyy back! Only been front row on sunday.
