I can clearly understand you. I feel the same sting of betrayal, even though I'm not spanish but ukrainian. However, for me the things are easier - because I always said that I don't consider French to be the language of love, for me it is Italian, and i always dreamed to learn it (Spanish is more like language of passion of different kind). I like hearing him, but of course it hurts a lot that he forgets Spanish. If Spanish didn't suffer, it would be no problem. I hate when he shows off his espaliano grrrrrr....
