I should probably stop posting in this thread, but my family has recently decided to start commenting on the Mika madness...

I have this as the background of my phone and PC and I've gotten two comments:

1: From a girl in my photography class who hates Mika!: "Yum!"

Me: "It's Mika"

Girl: "I thought so. Still... yum."

2: My mom saw the background:

Mom: "Who's that messy pup?"

Me: "Mika"

Mom: "Oh.. hmm."

So apparently she thinks he should clean up...

Then again later when I handed in my project:

Lecturer: "We can all guess who did the illustration of Mika? You're obsessed girl!"

Me: "Nope... just appreciative!"

Blame it on the Girls was on VH1 the other day... my sister actually called me to watch! First time I've seen it on TV here!

I just got an message from a friend of mine saying that he had a dream about me & Mika: [Just to clarify, I'm a bellydancer and photographer!]

"I dreamt I met Mika and we were discussing a set of photographs at an exhibition of your work in London at a fancy Bellydance showcase. He was trying to meet you so that you could take official photographs of his tours! I don't know how I got a dream clearly destined for you!"

Mika can put ANY stupid thing on his head and look gorgeous! At least cute

 

That is SO true!! Johnny Depp & Mika also manage to look good in otherwise ridiculous looking glasses. (well... not over the top Gaga glasses, but just stuff that looks ridiculous on other peeps!)

You can sorta see the hat... Ever since watching "because I said so" I have a thing for men in hats. BUT! (big but!) There are very few men who can pull it off... but when they do! :wub2:

Sorry to be a photo nerd, but it's possible that the camera (or a setting) was on "red eye reduction" and for some reason light/blue eyes have red eye more often (some elaborate scientific reason) and when the camera tries to combat it, it combats it with blue, hence why even brown eyes come out blue when red-eye reduction is on!

I've definitely seen Mika give a sexier look than that.

I challenge that!

a) Convince my parents to get uncapped internet (this is a slow and tedious process and could take ages)

b) Stay off the web (completely ) for about 5 days and then watch it afterwards...

Sheesh. 5GB really isn't a lot to work with... *sigh*

I have a strange question to ask, but how long is the Live @ home set? Because I have a limited amount of cap each month and last month we ran out and my parents freaked because we just upgraded (it was all the Mika videos and pics from the forum!!) so I have to "budget" for when I can watch it. Pretty much... if it's longer than 30min then I have to wait until the end of the month. *sigh*

YKYAMFW You've managed to get your sister to do her University French speech (about an artist/singer) about Mika and his lovely life. AND that she doesn't even have to go on the internet to find info - you can just tell her and then say she should put "mikafanclub.com" as a reference -- because it's BOUND to be on here somewhere!!

I thought so too, and would never send that kind of thing in if I had just seen the title of the "article". But since I get the magazine every week, I know what kind of things they put in there, and he definitely applies. I mean, they've had chubby people too - so why not skinny?

I'm looking for a picture of Mika shirtless... I know it sound strange (and I've noticed there aren't threads dedicated to that...) but I want to send it in for a local magazine that does a "Torso of the week". I found plenty on here, but I'd like to narrow it down to one or two good ones. Anybody?

I'd really like to be involved for South Africa -- we have almost no fan base here... So I'd be happy to encourage radio stations to play more of his music!
