    I should probably stop posting in this thread, but my family has recently decided to start commenting on the Mika madness... I have this as the background of my phone and PC and I've gotten two comments: 1: From a girl in my photography class who hates Mika!: "Yum!" Me: "It's Mika" Girl: "I thought so. Still... yum." 2: My mom saw the background: Mom: "Who's that messy pup?" Me: "Mika" Mom: "Oh.. hmm." So apparently she thinks he should clean up...

    My design lecturer when I was showing her some Mika/Yasmine artwork I was using for inspiration for a project: "You're obsessed, aren't you?" Then again later when I handed in my project: Lecturer: "We can all guess who did the illustration of Mika? You're obsessed girl!" Me: "Nope... just appreciative!"

    I sent a friend of mine an email today with the link to "I guess that's why they call it the blues" which is one of my friend's favourite songs. He replied: As to the you-tube clip itself: Jeez, instant inferiority complex! o.O (would give my left nut to play like that! o.0) Mika's voice is _very_ suited for Elton John songs.... and such a nice song to prove it with too! My friend plays piano too... more for fun though!

    I just got an message from a friend of mine saying that he had a dream about me & Mika: [Just to clarify, I'm a bellydancer and photographer!] "I dreamt I met Mika and we were discussing a set of photographs at an exhibition of your work in London at a fancy Bellydance showcase. He was trying to meet you so that you could take official photographs of his tours! I don't know how I got a dream clearly destined for you!" If only... sigh

    What is your dream date? "A date where you don't have to have sex with the person at the end of the night to know that you want to see them again!" I LOVE that one! I think it came from the pop-something video... well that's not very helpful, is it?! I just like it because it's so true! Oh and: Turn on? Donuts and short people (whoo! I'm short!)

    I just saw the ad and have to tell you! :) Mika Live in Paris is on Mnet tomorrow at 16:00! :) Even though I think it's the DVD, I'll still be watching! :) Hope you can watch too/get this on time!

    That is SO true!! Johnny Depp & Mika also manage to look good in otherwise ridiculous looking glasses. (well... not over the top Gaga glasses, but just stuff that looks ridiculous on other peeps!)

    Cool! What are you studying, and where? I'm doing photography and graphic design at a small place near to where I stay - a private little "college".

    I got the CD from a friend of my family from the UK, and I played to my friends and they thought it was too weird, and they didn't like it. Then a girl from my class came over to do a project and I played it for her and she thought it was REALLY weird, but she loved it! So we bonded over Mika and have been friends ever since. :) I've slowly converted my sister, but she says she can't afford to have an obsession now! :biggrin2:

    Sorry to be a photo nerd, but it's possible that the camera (or a setting) was on "red eye reduction" and for some reason light/blue eyes have red eye more often (some elaborate scientific reason) and when the camera tries to combat it, it combats it with blue, hence why even brown eyes come out blue when red-eye reduction is on! I challenge that!

    Thank you!! I'd like to watch it all at once though... so I think I may have to either a) Convince my parents to get uncapped internet (this is a slow and tedious process and could take ages) b) Stay off the web (completely ) for about 5 days and then watch it afterwards... Sheesh. 5GB really isn't a lot to work with... *sigh* But I shall prevail!!
