  2. Not in every country it isn't.

In the UK it is on ITV which public tv that everyone can watch without having to pay subscription for.

I thought she spoke of the Italian program, and is broadcast by Sky in Italy, which is a private TV station, not national television: a Murdoch tv

and I totally agree with you! I also do not see much difference "moral and ethical" with the other xfactor

  3. I'm not aggressive, I'm not by nature,I only and always try to reason and think about anything. I did not know his disapproval of 'journalistic article, in fact I was certain, view photos posted on the magazine paper, I was sure it had been stolen but then agreed. Again, knowing the usual perverse nature of the director, so it seems.

I do not agree with the tabloid magazines, I say it here and I have said above in another post. I do not buy them, I don't care. I have no interest in knowing what he does and with who he goes, neither he nor others. I do not care even know if he is a good person. Enough for me to be a good artist .. My speech was about what is good or not good, and what is wrong while being in shape can then essentially have a positive end. And it's true, I am deeply annoyed by a certain fetishism, in respect of each artist .. I find it a bit 'disgusting, voilà ..

  4. The difference is that that video was posted by Mika himself and these pictures were posted without his permission. HUGE difference is you ask me.

And he just take photographes in close-up parts of itself, to make themselves more sexy and desirable?

What is the difference between that and the image of the newspaper? Are not both "stolen" in this sense? Think about it ..

Photos of the family were published by himself, so his family is not hidden. What bothers? The image of his happy family, or the optics in which they are seen? And the images in the foreground, they do not intend to diverge from the other exactly and different optics?

These are stolen and distorted both, but those of the magazine are happy, the other sordid and feticiste....which do you prefer?

  5. The problem is, if Mika chooses to take his shirt off for 3 songs at a show, and you want to take pics, moreso videos of that particular song, that cannot be helped that you get those images. And it is on a public stage, so if Mika was uncomfortatble with pics being taken, he wouldn't take his shirt off. and lets not get lines blurred here, on stage this is Mika the artist and performer

These pap pics are taking photos of Mika the private person, which is a whole other world away. He is enjoying private time with family and friends, NOT performing for some money grabbing photographers, who, lets face it, aren't looking for just pics of him and his cute doggy.

    But Mika made

but mika published photos with his family a lot of times, such as photos or shirtless on the beach (for example, on the Dead Sea) with cousins and sisters .. what is the difference?

focus on a particular anatomy is different than showing an artist, albeit without a shirt, singing in a scenic backdrop. As a woman (but perhaps also as a human being) I would be more disturbed that someone photographers my bottom, maybe less if he takes photos of my family.

  6. Please, try to appreciate my effort. I'm trying to reiterate a concept is not so immediate, simple, in a language that I write barely.

Anyone's privacy should be affected, even probably no one should be treated as an object but as a human being. Especially if he's an artist, a writer and a healthy carrier of thought, I believe, as I believe you, too, it is right to pay attention to his work and not only to its cover. Whether what he does on stage and in life, should be looked at with respect and ethics, not morbid, if you really had respect for his person.

For this I called "invasive" - and certainly distasteful - a certain kind of look towards his body, not because it is not shown but because it has nothing to do with his artistic message.

But this, both here and elsewhere, because he is a public figure and moody, can not be.

However, if you can afford to count the re-growth of each individual hair, regardless of his songs, why do not accept the "invasive" "horrible" "stolen" appearance of him and his - supposed - family on a public holiday at the sea?

It is better the shape or substance of the image and the message?

(sooo sorry.. forgive me for the language, please!)

  7. I'm not talking about the right to post them or not. You don't want to post this, it is right. I speak of the fact that in that article, even if stolen, there is nothing harmful, there are no the names and the vision that the public has of this is positive.

Personally for me the signifier is always more important than the meaning, the concept, the substance rather than the form, the casing. And in this case, as the cover is horrible, the message is good .. only this :)

  8. I dont get why you are so aggressive and God knows why even if you can't understand a word of italian you are so sure that the article doesnt matter. The pics are "normal" (I'm talking about the one with MIKA and Melachi only, NOT the ones with his family as I said already shouldn't be there) and they are the excuse to talk about XF and Mika's role.

Maybe I can guess they were searching for "juicy" gossip but they didnt find one (or at least we dont know) and they wrote and article or the new judge beino so happy and sweet with his family and friends...this is good publicity for our standards and I'm not so sure is entirely a bad thing.

è da un ora che lo ripeto... e con che fatica...

  9. But the fact remains they are having a private holiday, and the pics ARE invasive, whatever message people take from them.

and his pubes - even covered - in the foreground, or the pictures of the growth of his chest hair, are not as invasive?

someone explain to me the meaning of invasive, please .. (in Italian is the same word ..)

  10. Yes and if they start stalking Mika and his family and putting photos of his father and underage cousins in their bathing suits online we will have the exact same discussion. This isn't a cultural issue. It's about human decency. Just because something is happening all the time and isn't illegal does not mean everyone must find it acceptable or blame all celebrities for bringing it on themselves. Just because some celebrities literally ask for it doesn't mean that every single other person in the public eye has voluntarily forsaken their rights to privacy.

But you tell me that this is his father, i don't even know!

and no one who reads the newspaper will know...

  11. There are tabloids everywhere, and I abhor all of them!

I haven't bought a newspaper for the past 20 years because of this nonsense. When I get a newspaper, I expect to read news in it, not be bombarded by pictures of people on holiday or doing their shopping or whatever with their family and friends.

This isn't news, I'm not sure what you could call it really, but news? No.

In my own home, these journals are not purchased. I am exactly like you, I think like you about this type of printing but I know its existence. I do not speak of their ethical or cultural value, it doesn't exist, I'm reading the message that these images give and in this case it is not negative and even not morbid. That is all. And for a tabloid of this kind, it is so much...

I find other images so much more morbid ..

  12. Or his record company. :freak:

No one is saying it is bad for him to be in the tabloids or that there is anything wrong with what is written about him. The problem is his entire family are hunted like animals if they are not behind closed doors. Is this really a cultural thing? Would you want your dad or your little cousin to have to worry about someone with a telephoto lens spying on them and publishing pictures of them in their bathing suits? Really?

You can see his (I suppose) dad and some other people (I don't even know who they are ..)only in web pictures, not on the paper magazine. On it there is a girl, not naked but in a bathing suit, but her face is cover by her elbow...

in England there are no tabloids?

In fact, it is a positive article, good for Italy: a happy little family on vacation .. with dog

I repeat, shocked me more a kind of fetishism, that images of this kind, where no one knows who is none, because there is nowhere written. And strange to say for this kind of tabloid magazine , there is no kind of malice in the photos. And knowing that newspaper and its director, I am certain that it has been re-arranged and negotiated in ad hoc ... (perdonate il mio inglese, vi prego!)

  13. I never said there were pictures of his cousins. I am asking what purpose it serves his record company to condone and effectively encourage paps to go out and stalk him with his family by spreading their bounty all over the internet. I doubt that Mika feels his every waking moment belongs to the public. While you can't expect tabloids to not invade his privacy in this way you should at least expect his record company not to.

but now he is no longer just a singer .. and it is his choice ..

I do not defend a certain type of photo or newspapers, as I detest some photos quite a bit "too fetishist", posted by fans everywhere. But it's part of that world, and... is his own choice

(sorry, I read it wrong, it happens often in English .. sorry again ..)

  14. I find it very weird that Mika Italia is posting all these pap shots on their official page. I was having trouble opening them so I don't know who was or wasn't in them but even if it was just Mika and Mel they were still taken during a a pap spy mission on Mika and his entire family. Why the f*ck is his record company condoning it by using it to promote him on FB? Yes it's legal and no it's not Mika's underage cousins in bathing suits...but would it be normal for Buckingham Palace to leave out some of the topless pics of Kate Middleton but post the rest of the pics taken with a telephoto lens while she's sunbathing on their website? It's just bizarre to me. There are a hundred million photos of Mika out there. Team Mika posts any random hot pic of Mika on Mika's FB and it gets 10000 likes in one day. What purpose does it serve to intentionally spread these particular photos around?

Excuse me, I think that when you decide to be a character "so" public, you belong to the public. This is sad, I can understand, as they are sad, perhaps, some photos of his most intimate - even if covered - physical attributes in the foreground .. However, I do not see pictures of the little cousin in a bathing suit in the article published on FB Mika Italy. :wink2:

  15. Unfortunately both written discussions and different native languages and cultures may lead very easily to misunderstandings.

That's why it's so important, that we try to be tolerant, sympathetic and willing to walk towards each other and clear things up when necessary.

Last but not least we shouldn't take things too personally or too seriously.

    :original:

I always thought that as long as you follow the discussion you can never be offensive. On a forum you never speak directly to a person, but with what he writes, and what he writes in that exact moment, it is not a physical entity, is only one idea, an opinion. Discuss "ideas", even in a strong way, it can only be positive. If I get angry during a discussion of this kind, I can never really be angry with that person, as in my real life does not exist, exists only at that time and for that topic. To me this is incomprehensible charges of aggression. Personally I never do that with anyone, I just discuss...

  16. I had some "heated discussions" with Christine a lot of times, almost hating her :naughty: But in the personal level I want to thank you for all your work and unprejudiced attitude to us. As alive person, mods have their own point of view, of course, and will defend it as any other of us - it is clear. So I don't understand people who considers it as a bullying. In Tumblr there was an account, where were loads of posts of former MFCers with confessions how they hate this place. I suppose, it was a great stab in MFC :sneaky2:

The worth thing is that people say MFC while talking about some peculiar persons, who are not faces and spokesmen of MFC, and who are just a common members. Obviously, as Deb said, MFC is a mixture of different cultures and ages - so no wonder that there are some quarrels (taking into account that quarrels happen even within one family!) How it is possible to blame MFC?

Well, for me this place is cosy and lively. It is my second home, and I'm glad that Mika is with us :huglove:

.. and language problems. I wanted to write before, now I do it with the help of google translator. Are strongly dyslexic, it is almost impossible for me to write and hard to read languages that are not mine, and also in Italian I have to keep correcting my writings. Yet until recently, my job was just writing.

A few things struck me han and saddened, I tried to write them in some way, probably in the most wrong, and at the time I was accused of being a troublemaker, and instead I was in good faith and only wound. I'll find someone to translate my words, to explain and to rebuild a relationship with this forum, because I think it has done many good things for the artist Mika, and that in fact is full of interesting people, humanly and intellectually.

I hope that no one read anything wrong in my post, it's just an attempt to return to their lost confidence.

  17. sì grazie, ma non farti problemi a postarlo nel thread in inglese, è una notizia come un'altra e si tratta di pareri, ognuno ha il diritto di esprimere il proprio punto di vista, no? :wink2:

cmq per me la xenofobia centra poco

    e a parte tutti i discorsi io festeggio :mf_rosetinted:
