I love this. There are moments you can see how much the music is really what he loves to play and loves to hear. Those unguarded moments where he's pushed aside the thought of the camera in the room, and is just grooving along - that's what makes this so cool to watch.

Given his one consistent statement about how it wouldn't be fair to say the name, I wonder if it's not the desire of his partner to maintain a bit of a normal life?

Oh dear, at least there are no socks or hose.

I don't know why they're all knicker-twisted. I spotted two gay couples, or one gay couple and one where both people were REALLY andro. seemed to me, and I could be wrong, but it seemed to me to be pretty representative of life.

I do not get why it can't just be NORMAL for there to be a gay couple, why does it have to be in a special gilt frame, with spotlights and shiny tassels?

Golden retrievers can come from show lines, which tend to be a lot prettier, or from working lines, which tend to not be as pretty but also are a lot less high-strung.

I had shelties for a while, they have the same thing going on. A working sheltie and a show sheltie look pretty much nothing alike.

We did hear Dr. John out of context with the album. He performed it 2 months before the album came out. And I never cared for it to be honest.

 

Anyway all of Mika's songs are polarizing. If you polled people on their favourite song from TBWKTM you would get 13 different top picks.

Live performance and leak, two different things. He's had a ridiculously tight cap on everything from this album.

Not sure if this one is a workable 'perform live' song, TBH. too much alteration to sound, too processed.
