  1. You`ll be a perfect mum))

I `m not sure Mika really wants\needs to move to France. His fans - old and new - are not danger for him. It`s an issue of Milan`s bad arrangement of the event. He knows better where to stay at each moment of his life. Remember he said once - "my home is where I write this" .

first of all - omg thank you!! that's so sweet :huglove: still have a couple of years ahead of me, but still :naughty:

Second - wow, I've been a fan for almost 2 years now and I haven't heard that one yet! It's so true.

But when I said "moving to France" I meant because of "the voice" :wink2:

  2. I totally agree with you, Karin. There are different sorts of fans, and we can't say one is better or worse, good or bad, really -- just different. :dunno: A screaming teenager who discovers Mika through X Factor today will eventually get older and pass through that phase, and hopefully become a lifelong fan who appreciates him as the amazing singer and songwriter that we know him to be.

I do hope the frenzy calms down, as you say, and I think it will once he moves on to France and people aren't seeing him on TV every week... at least I hope it "normalizes" a bit. The images from Milan yesterday were just insane.

He seemed so scared yesterday... and he had a good reason to be.

I really hope you're right about the "moving to France" deal, because the French seem much more used to Mika in the spotlight...

I'm just worried about what will the next 5-6 months will do to him... jumping back and forth from Italy to France, interviews, more and more paparazzi around him...

One thing I'm thankful for - it doesn't seem like Joanie's planning on leaving his side any time soon :naughty: thank god for that.

  3. it's never been my fave, i prefer his smile! :aah:

i know what you mean, tho i wouldn't go as far as saying "you have to earn the right to be called 'fan'", or that it has anything to do with knowing his middle name. :dunno: those who are just interested in his pretty face will forget him when x-factor is finished. but for some his good looks and his appearance in x-factor will just be the starting point that got them interested, and they'll be as much a fan as you and me when they find out more about him, watch interviews, get to go to one of his shows, etc. ... of course there are different "stages" of fandom, from just buying the albums, to going to concerts, watching/reading interviews, writing on forums, or travelling around the world to see him - but that doesn't mean that a fan who "just" buys mika's album and goes to a signing in hope of getting his autograph is "worth" anything less than someone who has been a fan for years and collects everything about mika. mika can't make a living just from his hardcore fans, he needs a lot of people to buy his albums and get him in the charts. i'm glad this has happened in italy now. although i hope the ones who are screaming and going crazy over him will eventually calm down and see him as the normal guy he is, not as some out-of-this-world superstar.

    I see what you mean...

I know not all of them are crazy screaming girls, and some of them surely will find out what an amazing person he is.

But seeing all this craziness and chaos... it's good for his publicity but I feel as if they're taking Mika and making him so much more... regular. For example, that picture with all the photographers and girls with their iPhones. Mika is so special, so unique, so different from all of this... it's almost dull, compared to his amazing soul. Feels as if it's not making him any different than any other singer out there. And I know it's not true.

  4. yes... it's called the apple pose :blush-anim-cl::blush-anim-cl:

Lol are you kidding? that's awesome :aah:

I`m glad Mika is back home now. I hope he`ll have some rest till Tuesday.

After seeing reports from the Swatch session in Milan I have a dual feeling: i`m glad for all mfc-ers who managed to see him and haven`t been injured by crazy people and crush. But I don`t think organization was good - so many people, such mess.

This is a part of Mika`s "star life", for sure, but I imagine how hard it is sometimes to remain so gentle, kind and patient. He`s a gentleman. My admiration!

I wonder has he expected such fuss in Milan ?

    Same here

Yet, this is just the start of things.

I hate seeing people who act like crazy with no reason... Most of the people who were there came because he's a judge on a reality show.

I bet 80% of them don't even know his middle name. I'm just saying, you have to earn the right to be called "fan", and that's NOT the right way.

  5. I found this one on facebook. It's an old one but my head is overloaded with Mika pictures and I'm not sure I've seen it before. It's in an album called "Famous peeps I have driven -and sometimes they got to go where they wanted to go" :aah:https://www.facebook.com/douglas.sinden.3/media_set?set=a.138164279723216.1073741831.100005889339404&type=3

    The suit looks familiar...

I love love love it when he takes pictures like that!! You know, with the mouth and the eyes :mikalove:

  6. There are some photos online already.

I don't think I've ever seen Mika looking so tired!

    0001.jpg

He looks like a sleepy puppy who didn't get enough sleep and now has to go for an 8 hour walk.

I hope it's just a phase, because if that's his state right now, I don't even want to imagine what will he do when both tv shows will be at their peak...

    This is too much

  7. Thanks for update - so happy that "things are at prosess" for you - but I'm not pleased to hear that you can't answer that MIKA knows that this Peace Prosject is an Israelian Project!!:sneaky2: This should be easy for MFC to report to his team, or even better, to MIKA himself!! You really deserve this to be done!! :huglove: It's also quite important, imo, because we all know what's going no in the Middle East ...

    Love,love

    me

    I know!!! LOL

you're so sweet, thanks for your support on this :huglove:

You do know we have contacts with Team Mika right?

Perhaps we can ask in our next correspondence. Or maybe Deb knows already

Well, I can understand that. I'm sure there are lots of us, myself included, who have sent Mika things and are still wondering if he ever received them, or if he knew who sent it, that sort of thing. I'm not sure how you'll ever know for sure unless he actually says it publicly, which... well, who knows if that will ever happen? I think, though, that it's safe to say that he probably does know, so don't drive yourself crazy wondering. :thumb_yello:

The thing is - when we were in constant correspondence with Mika team while the project was at its peak, we've asked them over and over to let Mika know it's made be ISRAELI fans - but they didn't even respond to that, they simply ignored our request and just asked for us not to reveal the project before they post it on fb... so that was really unfair and that's why I don't really trust them anymore. What we're hoping would happen is if someone who goes to one of the signing session in Paris/London/Milan could mention it to him - face to face.

  8. This is the translation of this article:http://www.optimaitalia.com/blog/2013/11/15/tutti-contro-mika-esplode-la-polemica-ma-e-lui-la-chiave-del-successo-di-x-factor-7/118053

All/Everyone against Mika : explodes the controversy, but he is the key to the success of X Factor 7.

venerdì, 15 novembre, 2013 13:04 di Claudia Gagliardi

If at first were mostly veiled digs, nice bickerings, some outburst immediately returned, now the judges of X Factor 7 don’t mince their words : all against Mika in the fourth live show of the program, the one that saw eliminated Roberta Pompa and Street Clerks. All against the Lebanese artist that already on the eve of the first episode and then was referred to as the great revelation of this year. Feared for the great musical competence and the quality of decisions, the ability to captivate the audience, but mostly because the assignment of the categories for this year has meant that he would find himself with competitors considered the strongest in the race/competition.

The fourth live show of X Factor 7 has seen explode all the controversy so far in the latent: Mika is the favorite to win this edition of the talent show (although it would be more correct to speak in terms of competitors and not of judges, but it is known that the identification is automatic and inevitabile), by now everyone is convinced of it. Not only the bookmakers, the public who comment on Twitter, the other aspiring talents in the competition, by now so do the judges and they no longer make mistery of not digest this real or presumed supremacy of the international pop star.

To fling with determination against Mika is especially Simona Ventura, now left with only one group in the competition after the elimination of Street Clerks: “I accept the audience response. It's obvious that in the strength of the judges Mika has a strength which is certainly different from mine - she said in an argumentative tone during the Xtra Factor - . It’s obvious this, that his being a singer beloved by everyone has a weight”. The analysis of Simona Ventura, who sees the popularity of Mika among the public a penalizing factor for other competitors, is also agreed by Elio: “The (girls) singers of Mika start already advantaged by the fact that Mika is their judge.Because Mika has a following unmanageable - the judge said - So for us other three is much harder this year”. Elio complains that the other judges start at a disadvantage, forced to "convince the public only with the strength of the performance”. That then, wanting to clarify, the goal is that: it’s to be rewarded the artist’s performance and certainly not the judge. But the theory of Ventura and Elio is that there is a surplus of favor from the public to the Under Women only because captained by Mika.

The truth is that X Factor 7 owe a lot to Mika, perhaps in general all the success of this edition, which has chalked up record numbers in terms of share for a satellite network and interactions on social networks. It is no coincidence that his arrival in Milan as a judge of the program was greeted with an impressive enthusiasm, confident that his stylish and ironic personality would bring only benefits to the show. And so it was: we began/started talking about a "style Mika", a way of doing TV which combines entertainment and culture, an approach that has nothing to do with the trash that we have also seen in the X Factor past editions. A personality able to bring new life to a format that, like everyone/everything else, over the years has inevitably exposed to the attrition risk. But the discontent began to spread quickly and now has come out with arrogance.

Even Morgan, who defended Mika declaring disagree with the thesis of Simona Ventura (he that of X Factor has won as many as 5 and maybe even a little thanks to the personality factor that today is recognized in Mika), do not let it slip the opportunity to denounce an alleged favoritism towards the popstar. Dressed in style John Lennon, has set aside the mood "Love and Peace" to lash out at the production after the performance of Gaia, he said much more organized of the other at the scenic level:

"When they delivered the backing tracks (basi musicali) to Mika, three months ago? You can not be so unfair. The Mona Lisa with the laser and mine singing Grease alone in the middle of the stage with nothing. It seems to me too much, Mika has four competitors and I two. You should distribute the amount of scenographies based on the number of singers, "Morgan said after the performance of Gaia, which still went to the ballot. Then the clarification: "If I were Morgan tonight I would talk in other terms. And this message goes to the whole production, not to Tommassini that he has busted his a**. "

In short, while the web protests the elimination of Roberta Pompa and Mika faces his first loss, come out all the contradictions and frustrations that in these first few episodes had remained in the shadows, hidden by the sparkle of the show on the stage of X Factor 7. On the other hand, was to be the evening of the Hell Factor. And it was.

I understand why they're so upset with the production, and I support their opinion, as long as they don't blame it on Mika!

Anyway there's not much they can do about it, the show's running now and them complaining about it won't change the situation.
