  1. Three years ago, I would've told you "I know Spanish, very basic English, Portuguese, and Italian." Now, I've moved from the border, so I know nothing about Portuguese, and nothing about Italian, but I do speak English and Spanish fluently.

  2. It sounds to me a little similar to French in some parts, and it has the "fluidez" of English, not like German, that they seem to be telling you off all the time, no matter what they say. It sounds nice. There are so many languages in Europe, that you'll never get to know them all, and even less get to speak them all fluently...

  3. I totally get the feeling. I used to play in front of people and that feeling of trying to think what comes after this chord, and not remembering until 0,00000001 seconds before you play it used to stalk me all of the time...

  4. I like it! Your hands were shaking... hahahahahaha

  5. Yes. It's our (crappy) official language. I feel more comfortable with English. Things sound better when said in English. What does Georgian sound like?

  6. As a historical place, yes, and as Mika's home, of course! But first on the list is NYC, and Las Vegas (Where my "Montecito Resort & Casino" will be. It was the setting for an NBC TV show, a show I totally loved to watch). After I go Vegas and NYC, we'll see what I can do. However, as an English student I think I'm quite more likely to go to England before the US... How about you, apart from English, what other languages do you speak? Do you have a language there in Georgia?

  7. See? That's the thing about Europe. There are a lot of old and nice-to-visit places, which we don't have here in Uruguay. The most impressive thing you may find here is incomparable to what you may find in most European countries. Still, I believe my country is nice to live in. And you? Do you think your country is a nice place to live in, or do you dream of living somewhere else?

  8. Hey, can you send me the link to your cover? Thanks!

  9. Wow, it looks nice!. Here in Uruguay the highest point on the map is a 500m hill... There are no mountains here. The closest mountain is in the Argentina-Chile border, the Andes, which is like... 1400 to 1700 km from here I think... However, we do have beaches. Our coastline is 660 km long and there are a lot of little towns next to it that are little paradises. Of course, there are cities too, like Punta del Este, which mostly, "lives" thanks to the beach. Punta del Este is like our Miami, taking the poor side of Miami out. There are no poor people in Punta del Este. It's the town of the rich. Many famous people from Argentina and other nearby places have estates there. Even Shakira does (I don't know if you know her).

What about your country? Any beaches, or stuff like that?

  10. Thanks! Here in Uruguay it's very hard too, specially for teens... There's not a single chance for me to do something and be someone... I might get to have a shot when I'm MIKA's age when he started at 23, but for now, it's all about waiting...

  11. I'd love to be able to live from singing, but who knows if that'll turn out the way I want it, right? I got a friend who also sings, and our voices sound really well together. In fact, our vocal ranges match: I go from Eb2 to C5 and she goes from Eb3 to somewhere in the beginning of the 6th, let's say C6, so when we sing we know our limits, and the other's too, so it's very easy for us to sing together.

And yes, I hope I'm very lucky and he'll come to Uruguay this year.

  12. I'd love to see him live, but here in Uruguay it's impossible... I saw a boomerang exclusive where he stated he wants to know Argentina, but I don't know if he already did and nobody found out, or at least I didn't... Anyway, if he did a gig in Argentina I wouldn't be able to go there because I got money problems at home, apart from the fact that I'm a 15 year old kid, of course...

I'd love to know more languages, but right now it's only Spanish and English... I did two years of Italian, because my school couldn't afford an English teacher but that was in 2008-9 and by now, I barely remember the accent.

I was born in the border with Brazil, and as both cities (Uruguayan and Brazilian) live thanks to tourists coming down from Brazil, Portuguese is the most common language there. I used to speak it fluently, but now I can't say more than two words without mixing it up with English and that's it...

What about you, what do you do for living?

  13. Well, opposite from you, I'm 15, and I've been learning English since 2010. Do you sing? What other artists do you like?

  14. I've been outside Uruguay (in Brazil) for about 5 km quite a lot of times throughout my life. Until 2010 I lived in Rivera, which is a city located in the Uruguay-Brazil border, and there's no cops, or customs. You can cross the border, and if you don't see the big flags waving at the "Plaza Internacional", you never get to notice that you're in a different country. And also, I crossed the Uruguay River to Argentina, once, and I went to a river-side city called Concordia, maybe you know it, probably not...

Apart from that I've spent my whole life here in Uruguay so, I can get the feeling of wanting to know something more about the world, and dreaming about other places through History Channel...

  15. How old are you? How long has it been since you first listened to his beautiful voice?

  16. Nice! I see there's a bunch of people from everywhere around the world who love him as I do... Have you ever been outside Europe?

  17. Thanks for the welcome! Where are you from?

  18. Thanks! Everyone seems to be nice with each other here so far... Where are you from?

  19. Hi, I'm new too. I signed up yesterday. Where are you from?

  20. Thanks, we'll talk later. Sweet dreams :)

  21. I listen to everyone except Hip-Hop. I don't know why, but I don't quite like it... Most songs it's "I like it" or "I don't like it", no matter the genre it is, but some genres in particular are just not for me...

My favs are Whitney Houston, Bonnie Tyler, MIKA (****ing love him now...), The Who, Stacy Francis and Rachel Crow (The X Factor USA season 1), but as I said, it's not about the singer, or about the style or genre, it's more about the song for me

  22. Well, it's big... If you feel like shopping, you should go to the border with Uruguay. There are Free Shops, and they're incredibly cheaper than your every-day shop. If only wanna shop, Rivera's your next stop. If you feel like shopping, but also like jumping into the water, Chuy, in Cerro Largo, to the North-East of Uruguay is your city of choice. There are other places with Free Shops, but they're not very cool. Basically bus stops next to the road, where you can shop and gotta wait a lot to get on the next bus...

Apart from Mika, any other favourite musician?

  23. OK, you're not bad. It's understandable. As my teacher used to tell me a few years ago, You can communicate with mistakes, but people would get the meaning anyway. That's your case.

Have you thought about coming down here, to South America?

  24. NICE!!! Pero te enseñan español de España o español de Latinoamérica? No vale usar el traductor de Google... jajajaja

  25. Yes, regular lessons and also Cambridge exams. I've passed the First Certificate this year with 81%. What about you?
