    Hi all ... My name is Rita.

    I am enrolled from a few months... but I don't speak English so I find a little difficult to move in here.

    Little by little it will get better :)

    I really like this site ... thank you for having created this.

    Obviously if I'm here is because I love Mika as Artist

    Luckily the music is an international language :)

    ed è probabilmente solo per questo che per partorire il quarto album ci sta mettendo un'eternità.

     

    Ma sai che, secondo me, lui in realtà è già a buon punto?? Anche se alcune sue dichiarazioni fanno pensare che sia moooooolto indietro, io son convinta che, nonostante gli impegni lui abbia composto molto in questo ultimo periodo, e che rimanga da fare la parte (forse, purtroppo) più impegnativa, ovvero quella degli arrangiamenti. Però, non so se sia speranza o illusione, mi sento molto ottimista!! :wink2:

     

    A me questa nuova direzione intriga parecchio, fardello di canzoni francesi incluso :teehee:

    E' crescito, maturato, è diventato un uomo, e di conseguenza anche il suo lavoro ha subito un cambiamento.. TOOL mi ha spiazzato, stupito, ed ora lo adoro quanto gli altri due, anzi, forse di più (no, fammi levare il forse!! :naughty: ). E le canzoni francesi io le amo alla follia, spesso ho giornate in cui le ascolto in loop, per la gioia di chi mi accanto!! :lmfao:

    E sono convinta che sarà così anche per il quarto album, che immagino un mix tra il primo ed il terzo!

    L'impressione che mi da è che sia così pieno di idee ed energia, come un vulcano pronto ad esplodere. E qualunque sia il risultato del lavoro di questi mesi sono sicurissima che non mi deluderà..anzi!!! :wink2:

    In ogni cosa non vedo l'ora di ascoltare qualcosa di nuovo!!!!! :boing:

    penso che commercialmente Popular con Ariana Grande sia di maggior effetto. Il video è strepitoso, la musichetta orecchiabile, lei adorata dalle ragazze che seguono le divette dei vari Disney Channel, Nickelodeon e che ora seguono anche Mika :mf_rosetinted:

     

    Che dire. A me non dispiace, ma mi sembra sempre tutto nel solco del personaggio bello ma tonto, con una fanbase di ragazzette o di nonnine che lo vedono come tanto un bravo ragazzo.

     

    Evidentemente questo paga....puntare sul genio e sulla originalità del suo messaggio musicale no.

     

    Purtroppo Robertina, sulla storia del personaggio bello ma tonto mi trovo proprio a darti ragione in pieno. :(

    Di sicuro la scelta di Popular ha un suo perchè, proprio nei motivi che hai elencato, però a me è proprio questo aspetto che non piace molto. Anzi, questa è proprio l'aspetto di XF che non va giù. Lui ha una cultura ed una sensibilità così grande che farlo passare solo come "il buffo" della situazione è quasi un insulto..ma tant'è, cerco di vedere il lato positivo, ora è conosciuto da migliaia di persone e le vendite lo confermano.

    Anche a me piacerebbe che Origin of Love fosse un singolo ed avesse passaggi radiofonici, ma visto il tema che tratta e l'accenno alla chiesa, son quasi certa che rimarrà un sogno...

    Ma felice, felicissima comunque di risentirlo in radio.. :wub2:

    In fondo in Italia prima di XF Mika non è stato trasmesso poi cosi' tanto...quindi ben venga tutto, per me... :thumb_yello:

     

    Si infatti, sono completamente d'accordo!! E poi la canzone è bella, molto piacevole (anche se preferisco la versione di TOOL) e bisogna battere il ferro finchè è caldo!! :wink2:

    If Mika says he is working, I believe it. I have no reason to doubt him, I have no valid elements, I cannot see anything from here, from my position of "fan".

    I see only the presence of a different scheme than the one used previously. Just this. I can see the presence of changes.

    Maybe it's changed himself, his way and timing of writing, his artistic world. Maybe he wants to have new experiences, change course, to try new things and explore new worlds. Maybe it's changed the confidence in the label, maybe it's changed the strategy of promoting the new album, to try to avoid some of the problems he had before. Maybe he wants to start over again. Maybe it will start working step by step, perhaps in France and Italy first, where he is now more 'known, and then he will go on slowly, country after country, leaving "most' difficult" countries as last...maybe he will do the opposite. I do not know. But he remains an artist. In my opinion, he is only an artist in changing. That's all for now. Obviously, it's only my little opinion. :wub2:

    Isabella, I think the best way to be a fan is listen to anyone's opinion, have one of your own, and then move forward.

    being upset or angry or delusional is just something which spoils the joy to be a fan. Don't let other fans' opinion make you feel bad. it's not worthwhile.

    But at the same time we are all entitled to have an opinion and express it.

    This is a forum of discussion, among other things :wink2:

    I was just wondering if it is right to put Mika under this pressure and so tightly.

    I want to point out however that I respect all kind of opinions no matter what or where they come from. I only expressed my feelings.

    Please forgive me, but sometimes I'm confused reading your post. :blink:

     

    It seems to me that, before the problem is that no one knows when the next record comes out ...

    then the problem is " who knows what and if he wrote somethng"..

    indeed, "may he not have written anything yet"

     

    Now on twitter someone has said that he had written (in French) and this is not good ....

     

    And I'm feeling like :shocked:

     

    Then came the news from fb and I wonder: is correct to put Mika under this kind of pressure? For me the answer is : ABSOLUTELY NO.

    Ok, we all love him, we are fans and we can't wait (obviously) for his new album, but at the same time I think that this attitude so critical is incorrect.

     

    Sorry, but this is the way that I feel in this moment :(
