    Message for Mellody and LollipopGirl, and also Julia : Morten Harket from AHA has a brand new vid. for his new song "Brother" - maybe you want to take a look - Morten still sings very good, and the video is quite special. I don't have a link for it, but you surely can find it on YT.

    80s music videos? "take on me" by a-ha? :boing: definitely one of my fave music videos of all time. :wub2:

     

    So is mine! And I'm just 14 y.o. When I was a child my parents used to tune a 80's and 90's radio station, and still doing it :wub2:

    His freshness, his creativity and his enthousiasm have revolutionized pop music but have also brought a wind of madness in this 3rd season of The Voice. Mika has known how to charme his audience but also his friends coaches.

    Portrait of a gifted man with a crazy (over the top) charisma.

     

    Garou : I remember when Mika got here the first time, he had a little schoolbag. He seemed very nervous and looked like someone who was there for coming back to school.

    Mika: Ah, do you picture that? It must be scary.

    Garou: (…...) we realized that he wasn't scared at all

    Jenifer: he really brought a new air.

    Pagny:he's more flowery, more spirited, more colourful. We also see that in his costumes, in his attitude.

    Jenifer: if he wanted to turn his seat in a bit of a theatrical way, well, he does it.

    He has a childlike side but we are eventually eternal children, when you do this job you don't accept to grow old.

    Pagny: he doesn't stop. With his attitude of teacher's pet, he's the worst. Look, look! He's terrible.

    Jenifer: Mika is almost a gifted person. He speaks fluenty I think more than 5 languages.

    Someone: he doesn't hear, he's deaf.

    Mika: But you talk with your hands. And this is fine. I'm lebanese (really? never heard about that :teehee:) and we talk with our hands as well.

    Jenifer: all his origins make him to understand much more things, this is why also I love Mika, cause he gets interested in people

    Pagny: he quickly got inside a person's soul and personality with a real sensitiveness and intelligence

    Jenifer: he just simply gets interested, osmetimes in a very childish way, but it's to learn to undersand the other person.

    Garou: behind Mika's childishness, technically, we hear that he's young but he already knows the music well.

    Pagny: he's in the music since the age of 10, he did all his classical musica studies in one of the major schoolmusic in london.

    Garou: Mika is a showman

    Pagny: since he started very early he's a way more mature, more old, and has a lot more experience and knowledge than others of the same age.

    Jenifer: Mika is an artist I like very much, for whom I have a lot of respect, and he does the show.

    Pagny: he loves that, he loves the show, with this physique, I mean, he's a big guy but how he breaks , how he jumps everywere, dances everywhere, I envy him.

    Jenifer: Mika is a bit of a confluence of the three of us, he's a guy like this, hyper endearing, stuffed with honesty.

     

    The three of them eventually say they love him.

    This is one of my favourite bands so I want to know if there are people in the MFC that at least have listened to them. I know there won't be as many as I expect, but I invite everyone who reads this thread to listen some songs :thumb_yello:

     

    Capital Cities is an indie pop duo formed by Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian who are officially in the music industry since 2011

    Their only one album In A Tidal Wave Of Mistery was realesed in June of 2013 and its singles Safe And Sound and Kangaroo Court were and still being well known. Check them out:

    That last comment about Mika not being good enough will just make us mad, and make us vote more!

     

     

    Yes I think it is a joke, because of the picture. But it annoyed me too at first.

     

    Obviously it's a joke. The sentence 'Mika isn't good enough to win any award' is between quotes, like someone is saying that to her... and 'your level of stupidity is far beyond my comprehension" is in response to that comment. So she's replying to those who think Mika isn't that good enough to win an award

    Just found this thread :teehee:

     

    A month ago I had a strange dream about Mika. We were somewhere but it looked like a village of the middle ages. A vampire was wanted but in love with a girl (me) and yep, he was called Mika :naughty: A party took place one night... I don't remember what happened during that time but at the end I ran away with him :aah:

    same here! TOOL was so different, it took me a little to get used to his new sound, but now I love it!:teehee:

     

    I totally agree! At first I didn't really listen to TOOL, but when I started listening to it more, it became my favorite ablum!

     

    Yeah and then you realize that they're very catchy

     

    I don't like By the time or Erase, I sort of got tired of them.

     

    By The Time is a nice song in my opinion, sometimes when I'm sad it makes me cry. Same happens with I See You :tears:

    He says "one foot boy, 11 stone" and stone = weight, so I always assumed foot = height.

     

    But I think that's not what's really going on in this song, anymore than Toy Boy is an actual toy. :naughty:

     

    I've always thought that "one foot boy eleven stone" refers to a stone boy of 11 y.o that it's sitting on his shoulder telling him what to do, a character from his imagination as Dr. John
