Lui!!! A me è arrivato il cappellino l'altro giorno. Lo puoi trovare su eBay. ;)

Max ... chitarra... ha promosso il Taylor...grande Mika???...cosi il dinamic duo al lato destro del palco...

  4. I really love them .

    Why

    1) they thanked Mika and all of us for the support during the tour

    2) they were and are  so nice and caring of all of us

    3) they are a great band

    4) I have bought the tickets for the show in Paris

  5. There's not much to add to what it's already been said about the gig and what happened afterwards, but I'd like to share my report too.

Florence was exausting. The night before I had slept (badly) only a few hours but the excitement for my second concert kept me awake enough to drag myself around. Sarah and I arrived at the train station at about 2 pm after a two hour trip from Rome where we were for the previous gig and headed for the b&b or whatever it was where we had our room booked for the night. We waited for the bus and when it arrived, first thing we noticed was the big Mika poster on the side, it was the only bus we had seen to have that, what a coincidence. Anyway, we got off at the wrong stop or maybe the GPS just wanted to mess with us, because we had to walk way too long to reach the b&b. Not to mention the wind. My God, the wind... But, you know, we are young, we are strong and we eventually made it to our room. Just a little loo break and out we went again. We spent some time in a bar where I was about to fall asleep, then we headed for the forum to check how things were going. It was supposed to be a short walk but of course we took the wrong road and the GPS made us wandering around half of the town just to bring us back to where we were 15 mins before. It was about 5 pm when we got there and there was already a huge queue, we briefly talked to Saskia and Myriam and walked back to meet with Chy, Vv and some friends of hers. We chatted a bit and then we headed again for the forum together, where we spilt because we had to enter from different gates. Our seats were a bit farer than in Rome, but we had a better view of the stage and I even found Mika in a better mood than the day before. But the audience... how can I describe it? It was embarassing to say the least, people wouldn't allow us to stand up and dance (again), it was worse than in Rome, everytime we tried to get up they would complain, the only one who knew all the lyrics by heart was a little kid behind us, the rest of them woldn't even hum any of the songs. Mika tried so hard to interact with the audience but there were a few times when my jaw would drop with disappointment. The only moments when people were really part of the show was during Underwater, when they turned on their phone lights and followed Mika's directions and during Love Today, when he explicitly asked everyone to stand up and jump. It was such a shame, not only they weren't really part of the party but also didn't allow others to have a blast. I tried to enjoy every moment of it as much as I could and when I recognised the first notes of Over My Shoulder, I teared up a bit. It's one of the songs that gets me very emotional and it was so unexpected and beautifully sung that I'll never forget its magic, just like I'll never forget when he sang Any Other World in Milan in June, which was as much beautiful and unexpected. When it was over, we went to meet with some of the others and chatted a bit, we even took a pic with the Citizens! (thanks Saskia for sharing it!) and then we went to wait for Mika. I don't wanna add much to what I have already said about what happened, it was a mess, it was shameful, it was dangerous, some people went completely nuts and although I'm sad he didn't stop, I can't blame him. He was way too kind to even have his phone light on to let people see him. Anyway, after he left, Sarah and I stayed a little longer to chat with two friends of hers and what happened later was totally unexpected, it was a day full of pleasant surprises. One guy from the Citizens! approached us to ask whether we knew a bar nearby, we told him there was one still open right around the corner and when he came back with the full band, they asked us if we wanted to join them, so we did. I know this isn't Mika related, but I'd like to spend a few words to talk about them, because they were really sweet. We got in the bar, they offered to pay for our drinks and while some of them mostly chatted by themselves, the singer and the guitarist spent the whole time talking to us. They asked us if we were part of an official fan club and kept asking about Mika. They wanted to know more and more about him, which surprised me a lot, I told them about the poster accident happend in August and how that concert had a different meaning for him and that was probably why he decided to sing Over My Shoulder in the end, we talked a bit about the Subtitling Team and the singer had that amazed face, he told us we're really dedicated fans and I had the impression he was a bit sorry they don't have the same fandom, because he soon after told me they love Italy and would love to come back here with their own tour but they're afraid they're not known enough here to sell. We talked about music, soccer, food, language and many other things and when we left at 2 am, they hugged and kissed us, asked us if we had a place to stay overnight and told us to stay safe. They thanked us for being so friendly and told us Mika fans are an amazing big family. We then called a taxi and went back to our room. As I said, Florence was exausting but it was totally worth it.

❤️ at begining I Was sorry because you were tired but having meet in Zurich I know I Was worth ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  6. The thing appeared sketchy since the very beginning, no one knew what this “Exclusive Dance Floor” was really about. We only knew we would have had access to it. Rumors were spread, hypotesis were done, and the mystery about the legendary Exclusive thingy arose. It was my duty to go and find it out, so I told Sarah to pack and we planned this trip on a very short notice. Thank god she can do logistics pretty well. Her bday happens to be on the 29th of August, every year, so yeah, it made quite an awesome happy Bday gift.

A very good one  really   :thumb_yello:  :mf_rosetinted:  :hi5:  :cheer:  :fangurl: thank you Sylvie again !!!

  7. I'm a week late, but in case you're still interested,  here's my report.

Caribana day started with us waking up at 6 am after a 3 hour sleep, a thunderstorm and a crazy dog barking at the rain. By "us" I mean Sylvie, Sarah and me. We drove (actually, Sylvie drove, we were just sitting there) our way to Nyon through Mont Blanc tunnel, stopping briefly in a service area in France run by a very nice lady (insert sarcasm here). I went at the check-out to pay for a sandwich, she told me the price, I started putting money on the counter and then I accidentally dropped a coin, I ducked to pick it up off the floor (Mika quote on purpose) and she repeated the price. I got it, ffs! Don't you see I'm trying to give you the money? Anyway I managed to pay and we went back to the car. The travel went very well, no hitches at all, apart from Sylvie's neverending struggle at every toll booths because she couldn't reach them properly and had to lean out of the window. Ah, short people's problems. Once in Nyon we had a bit of a hard time to find the festival, but thanks to the sat-nav, which kept freezing from time to time btw, we found our way there and parked the car in a parking lot right in front of the gates. Sylvie asked an elderly woman if it was ok for us to leave the car there and she said she thought it was. Like, ma'am, what do you mean? You *think* it's ok, so there's still the possibility we won't find the car once the festival's over??? Luckily, she was very nice, she told us not to worry, she introduced herself as the festival president's mother and even gave us her phone number, just in case. The queue at the gate was very small and quiet, there were people from Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Finland and I met some of them. The security was awesome, giving us water and protecting us from the sun with some beach umbrellas, and we were all relaxed until a whole family tried to jump the queue, creating a bit of a mess. We all stood up and tried to make them go to the back, then the security stepped in to help us. They really were amazing. When the gates opened, they would only allow in one person at a time, giving everyone the time to walk halfway to the stage before letting in anoter person, so there was no running or pushing. We managed to find our spot in the front row easily, the stage was only a couple of meters away, so we were pretty close. The security guys kept providing us with water and earplugs and were very kind and funny. I don't remember much about the acts before Mika, they were not very interesting imo or maybe I was just too eager to see him. When the last one left the stage, we were given some cardboard crowns made by a fan and we hung Mr Pataccone (i.e. the biggest MFC badge) to the barrier right before us (we were even asked by a photographer to pose for her) waiting for him to come out. And eventually he did. It was so cool to see him from that close. That was only my second gig and I was in the front for the first time, I enjoyed every second of it. He told us he was happy to perform so early in the afternoon for he could see the audience very well and he did look at every single person in the front rows and interacted with us a lot. First thing I noticed, but it was quite hard not to notice, was the big hole on his crotch. I giggled. It served him right, he shouldn't wear suits during concerts, especially since it was 5 pm and very hot. He made us jump, dance, sing, scream, he drank some cherry-coloured drink from a bottle then said it tasted disgusting and when someone in the audience said they wanted to try it, he threw the bottle to them. He also told us the towel he was given smelled nice and he's always wanted to have scented towels but his mom wouldn't allow them 'cause she thinks everything with a nice smell is bad for the health. He seemed to be in a good mood and was rather chatty, unfortunately I don't remember everything he said ,'cause he was speaking in French and I missed some words here and there. When the gig was over, we went to wait for him and we saw the band leaving in a van, but he was nowhere to be seen. We were then told by the security that he had already left by boat since he had a flight to catch and was in a hurry. We stayed there a little bit longer, you know, just to be sure, and chatted for a while and then we left an hour later. Apparently we weren't done singing yet, since we played TOOL and TBWKTM while driving back home. Funny thing is I jokingly said I wanted a proof that he had a flight to catch or I wouldn't have believed it and by the time we got  home, we found out he had tweeted a pic of himself at Brussels airport. Well done, Mr Mika, you're forgiven.

Edit: I forgot to say that I almost choked when a piece of confetti flew right into my mouth while I was singing!! And since I'm here, here's a pic of us with the crowns and Pataccone
