    Apparently they don't want me there. :sneaky2:

    My credit card is fine and I'm not typing the wrong data. :banghead:

    I had an amazing night. I was in row BB - 9, 11, 13, and 15. I was there with my parents and friend Hannah. (I've actually gotten my parents to enjoy Meek's music quite alot now :naughty:)

     

    So this makes my 3rd concert now and it was definitely my favorite with being just a few feet away from Mika. Not to mention my seat was a bit to the left making me directly in front of him :blush-anim-cl: Also I actually got to meet and MFCer this time, Sabrinac was sitting directly behind me. :teehee:

     

    And I've given up on finding Alie :mf_rosetinted::lmfao:

     

    I really enjoyed hearing Karen, Good Guys, and Last Party :wub2:

     

    I was a bad MFCer and took some photos (I couldn't help it!) :sweatdrop:

    :blush-anim-cl: Thank you so much dear! :huglove: I passed OSM today, and there were both MIKAs mother and two sisters outside the entrance - a nice reminder that this BIG event is only some few hours away! I will think about you all - who can't be here with us, and I'll hopefully write a happy report for you - when I get my breath back...:teehee:

    RESTAURANT UPDATE

     

    The final preparations have been booked at the restaurant, so i thought i'd write here the information that you will need:

     

    The name of the restaurant is : Restaurant Il Pranzetto

    We have the restaurant to ourselves starting at 16h00 til we leave.

     

    The food:

     

    You will have a choice of:

     

    MAIN DISH

    1) Filet de Basa (white fish) with a fresh tomato, onion, capres olive oil sauce

    or

    2) Pasta to be determined (will most probably a vegetarian option like a romanoff tortellini)

    or

    3) Chicken breast with mushroom marsala sauce served with pasta

     

    DESSERTS

    We will have a choice of tiramisu, lemon cake, nutella brioche, cannolis (all home made)

     

    and coffee

     

    The meal will cost us between $25 to $30 per person. To this, there will be 15% taxes added on. Also, in Canada, the tip (pourboire, gratuity) is NOT included on your bill. The normal amount to give is 15% (if if helps to calculate, give about what the taxes are on your bill)

     

    They do serve drinks, but they are not included as part of your meal.

    Mika to be a judge @ X Factor Italia 2014 !

    Ok so here's my report about the Mika's performance at X Factor last night. Hope you like it and sorry for my words :teehee:

     

    I'll be boring because it is possibly the millionth time I say it, but if it was not for you, I don't think I ever saw an episode of X Factor this year :aah: So, until I received the email on wednesday afternoon, I was already planning on how to record the performance and put it online :teehee: So you made me a great gift!

    Btw, on Thursday afternoon, me and my mother left at about 6pm to go to Assago. It was as if I had gone back in time to 2010, when I went to assago to attend Mika's gig! I know, this time it was for television episode but hey he finally sang so it could be called a performance!!

    when we arrived, it was hard to find parking, but the most surprising thing was the line of people who were in front of the building waiting to enter :shocked: I was like: "oh dear...what will it take to get in?" but at least it was very fast xD

    We ended up in a good position, where I could see very well the stage and at the same time have a fantastic view of the entire building... the parterre was already full and my anxiety was growing more and more.

    At about 9pm the lights fall on stage and who comes out? Chiara Galiazzo, the winner of X Factor 2012 :doh: Well, the song was not bad but happy that she was very fast LOL She's not one of my favourite singer xD

    After her, everyone was preparing for the start of the live and I notice that someone is bringing the instruments on stage ... knowing that Mika was due to perform at the beginning, I immediately wondered if he was accompanied by his band but then my hopes fade... it was time for an international band that I don't remember the name :aah: It was funny 'cause Cattelan danced a bit in his particular way like a old man of the '20s haha

    Finished this performance, there was another pause, and finally they bring the stylized piano on the stage. Finally it was time that everyone has been waiting for: Mika's time!

    The episode begins with a countdown and at the end a lot of fireworks have appeared on the stage while Cattelan began the episode presenting the judges: Morgan and everyone "yeeee" Victoria "yuuuuu" Fedez *every girls screamed* and then.... ladies and gentleman MIKA!! and I saw the audience burst into applause and shouts!! I have to admit that I stood up to applaud him when he arrived even though I knew that no one would see me but I was so happy to be there to support him while he was terrified as he is always at the idea of promoting something, even if in part, new. Funny moment: I could see the sparkle of his jacket full of feathers even if I was far xD and of course his red soles Louboutin

    He immediately went to sit at the piano and inside of me I was like: "oh-protector-of-poor-fans-who-wanna-listen-their-favourite-singer... please make him sing alone at least the new song... please!" Well, my prayers have been exhausted! He was just him and his piano.

    From the first chords, I already knew that I would have adored it... The low notes and his voice whispered and clear with some falsetto (even if minimal) in the first part, were to me like if someone awakened from a dream that lasted two years! Mika reminds us that he's not a judge and a TV character but an international artist, a composer who can get you into another world while singing. The melody is very catchy, it's like as if I had already heard it from Mika in the past but I don't remember when. The chorus of 47 voices is very good: I think that those who sing are almost all children, I heard many white voices and a girl's voice that stands out above all. He sang a bit softer than the choir to make, I believe, hear them. It's like the one of "We Are The World" by Michael Jackson so I don't have nothing to object about this song.

    The atmosphere was magical, everyone at a certain point was silent and then when there was a crescendo during the part "where all good guys gone?", the audience exploded in a loud applause and even the judges stood up to applaud.

    And here that the four finalists come on stage and he leaves (sighs) the piano to meet them but he keeps a certain distance from them, being at the center of the stage: dear lord, it's his moment so everything is ok! Go boy! And here comes also the gospel choir at his back and the audience explodes again while the song is increasing even more: at a certain moment I wanted to put a black robe and go there to join the chorus xD But hey I wasn't the only one who though so: I saw today on tv that also Fedez followed the movements of the chorus xD

    Then, change of rhythm and the notes of Happy Ending resonate in the audience bringing all to applaud... This time everyone was singing the chorus but the solo part remains his: his falsetto is finally back, high notes executed to perfection without a smudge like old times. I'm sure that he has tried it many times in the past few days and it totally worth it!

    In the end, I didn't know what to do: whether to applaud or rejoice or move me for what I had just seen. I even noticed that at the beginning he was singing with eyes closed so I guess that he was as excited as I think we all were. The amazing thing was that he shook the hearts of the audience at the Assago Forum and I'm sure even the people at home. I think that hear singing something totally new and be present there while this happens, feeling all the adrenaline and anxiety of that time is something that you don't forget easily over time.

    At the end of the performance , I saw the whole audience stood up to applaud, all happy for that wonderful performance! Our Mika is back and sincerely I can't wait to see the same thing for one of his gig maybe even again at Assago :wub2:

     

    So, what can I say more? Thank you again and hope that I didn't bored you with my story

    MIKA as Judge at "The Voice" France - 2015

    So, first recording session, here we go. Every english mistake being offered by me :blush-anim-cl:

     

     

    Considering how long you stay up freezing outside - and for the last hour WITHOUT your coat, and how hot it is inside, here is a spoiler alert: this story will probably end up with a massive cold.

     

     

    But there is a lot of fun in the middle.

     

    I won't talk that much about the candidates, first because they obviously will make it to the television so I'll try to focus on the bits that might end up being cut, and also because none of them especially stayed in my mind (oh I am so sorry to say that when they went outside at the end of the show, I already couln't remember half of them :shocked:). I'd say not all of it is worth mentioning but I'll still put it here before it goes out of my very teeny tiny memory:

     

    So, season 4 is up, and Mika will have to get used not to be the king of it anymore. How long did he stay without anyone choosing him when the three others already had at least 2 talents each? Poor guy, we were waiting for someone to choose him as an act of charity xD. "P*tain, 3 d'affilée!" (f**k, three in a row) he just exclaimed after loosing 3 times in a row. Quite a change from last year's first session.

     

    Because this year the new attraction is Zazie, and she's quite an attraction indeed. In fact I wasn't worried about her, I knew she was quite smart and knew well what she would be talking about. I also saw one of her shows once and it was almost done like a theater play - she knows how to take the audience with her when she talks. So without a surprise she did the job very well, very good at arguing and all, and seems to be as well fitted for the "weird ones" than Mika. So it was often than both would turn for the same person, and, well... she seems to be able to crush him quite easily :teehee:. Hence him ending the show saying to Nikos, with his child's voice "I don't like her! She's mean! Can't you take her back?"

    But truth is, even if they are fighting every five minutes, she and Mika are getting along very well and it easily might be the "new couple" of the show. We ended up with them lying together on the floor, and then with Zazie on Mika's lap, and then Mika on her lap ('heck you're too tall I can't see anything!'). And then as accidents happens in the middle of this mess she ripped appart the button on Mika's jacket and he had to end the show casually maintaining it closed with one hand (after the audience having to guide him because he couldn't find the said button on the floor). (Also at a point he hugged a candidate and ended up with make up on his jacket so basically after only one show the thing is already a mess, good luck with trying to keep it white and in one piece until the end).

    She is also very funny and Mika is not the last one to go and play with her. Like at a point (ok, I am fully aware it'll gonna be far less funny without images but still) she tried to convince a talent by getting up, and going near each judge, near Florent saying "he has such a voice, you'll gonna have a complex and won't be able to focus". And then near Jenifer "She is so beautiful, you won't be able to focus". And then near Mika... except he had then sneaked out of his seat and was hiding in its back... "and Mika is... where??" They almost started to run around the seat trying to catch each other and as I said it just seems childish and stupid when said but to see it was funny :aah:.

    When she runs out of argument she just says "I don't know what to say so I'm just gonna stop breathing until you choose me". So of course, later when she was arguing too much Mika just went "oh, shut up, just stop breathing please!"

     

    And so it was with Zazie that we opened the show as the judge's opening song is one of hers, Rue de la paix. Which they had to do twice because someone f*cked up the lyrics (I give you a clue: it was the tallest one). No complaint from us though, they could have sing it five times if it pleased them, especially considering that we just had to go through more than an hour of Nikos recording lauchings for "the next three years, at least", as he said. So them singing was even more welcomed, if such a thing is possible.

     

     

     

    So, from now on it's the "bits that are crossing my mind in a complete mess" extravaganza.

     

    Mika probably has in his team the tallest and the smallest talent so far. So he was very happy to go and stand near them, the first one being slightly taller than him and the second arriving at around his hip :aah:.

     

    Sister Cristina was a guest tonight, and so Mika was official italian translator again. And again another time for an Italian contestant (except he took a shortcut and just said to her that the others didn't like her. Which wasn't true :aah:). There were also some bits of Arabic and a little intrusion of Japaneese, so I'd say for the other judges he kind of is a giant google translator with legs now. ( and as a hidden bonus track I think we were treated with some bits of portuguese when he came out after the show).

     

    At a point a contestant said that she was putting her guts on the table when she sang and obviously he doesn't know this expression and was quite chocked by it, and his revolted "you put your guts on the table???!! urg!" was said in a funny enough way to become one of the quotes of the night. It ended up becoming an argument for Pagny "you put your guts on the table he finds it disgusting I think it's awesome so come with me" and after the candidate was gone Mika was still rambling "I don't like guts and he like guts, that's all..." . Lovely guts story.

     

    He keeps yawning without putting his hand, in case you were wondering. And as he was quite tired, it happened a lot. So at a point some in the audience began to tell him hey, your hand, remember? But all he coud hear was people "complaining" and he assumed it was after Zazie, so he asked her what she had done to make us upset before realising it was for him "what, me? whyyyy? what have I done???" (had his answer but it didn't keep him from doing it again :mf_rosetinted:)

     

    We have a song in french, going "Melissa métisse d'Ibiza". He came with a new version of it, Melissa becoming Melachi, and managed to get all the judges singing it, before stopping it "ok, we're actually talking about my dog" and then bursted into laugh. And again, it certainly doesn't seem so when reading it but in fact it was ridiculously cute xD.

     

    Ok, that really was very random. Sorry.

     

    He stayed and chat with fans for a little while after the show ended, which was very nice obviously, going on with the always pleasing "it is so nice to have you all here again, helps a lot", etc. Some sweet 'now go to sleep you lot, goodnight' and he was out of stage.

     

     

    And then it was all over, and we were outside chatting nicely, and then this guy just went out of his car and interrupted us, so rude, dunno who that was.

    He stayed for a while, was kind and sweet and smiling, made some people very happy, wished us all good night and off he went.

     

    And he will probably make even more people very happy when they'll know the answer to the "what about gigs?" question. I think it was Camille who asked, wasn't it? Anyway, the answer looked like it: "soon. And lots. LOTS. Far too much in fact, I don't know if I'm gonna get through this!"

     

    (and casual: a song is called Rio in the next album. Yeppa. Also, no Ma Jeunesse )

     

     

    As for me: throat hurts runny nose and headache. Still so talended at cold catching. Let's say if a cold can ever be "worth it", this one has to be.
