I think most people in France do know Mika indeed. He's always had a lot of radio airplay so they would have at least heard one of his songs. It's very probably going to grow now that he's a coach on The Voice here..

Don't feel sad about finding out about him only recently. I became a fan only after his 2nd album was released, so I've experienced only one real album release yet. I'm sure there are plenty to come
