I don't want to annoy anyone with my optimism, but what if he's gonna do an actual headlining tour? A tour for the fourth album? Then what usually happens is that the tour is announced after the album is released. Those festivals are not managed by him so he doesn't have any say in when they are or when they are announced.. I'm expecting tour dates after the album release.

almost everything i wanted to say about the 3rd night has been reported already, so i'll keep it short with a few bits & pieces i remember:

- mika talked more than the other 2 nights, but he seemed almost as nervous as on the first night, 2nd he was more relaxed i think

- while at the 2nd night happy ending was my fave performance, on the 3rd it was origin of love that i found especially outstanding.

- so happy that we got this m&g, thanks deb for organizing! much better than having to wait in the cold, and so lovely of him to do something like this for his fans! something funny i remember that wasn't on saskia's recording - he wasn't aware that the gigs in japan had already been announced, and idk how this topic started but i loved the puzzled look on his face.

Well here's the thing. People in the UK do remember him, but he's in the past tense now. If there was something to let people know he's still around, I think people would be interested again. It just needs for something to happen here, to wake up the UK again.

I don't mind waiting for the album, if it means he has more time to promote it in the UK. As things stand at the moment, the album doesn't stand a chance in the UK, because no one here even realises that Mika is still alive!

I'm hoping for some festival dates in the UK, because, if he only does small gigs, like he did a couple of years ago, it's not going to help him at all. But if he gets his name on some festival line-ups, people will, at least know he's there, and possibly, see him perform, even if they've gone to see someone else originally.

So that's what I hope for. That, and some TV appearances, before the album comes out. Otherwise, it will be a flop, like the last one, and that would be so terrible!

Yeah he needs to promote here like crazy, most people I talk to about him remember hi a nod used to be fans so if he comes back under their attention again I don't doubt they will be interested

The information that his album will be out at the end of this year come from a French press article (about The Voice). But it's not an interview and they haven't got really source I think. And another one said last week that his album will be out in April. No one of this informations come from Mika, so we can believe what we want, but this informations can totally be wrong. Actually, I think that all we have to do is to wait ^^

But for the concerts, Mika said himself to French fans that: "il y aura pleins de concert. Trop même" (there will be lots of concerts. Too much in fact).

So you can hope for some concerts this summer !

I haven't heard either way but he did put a pic up before the new year from his home in Milan saying he was having listen through of the new album with his management. Maybe they had a few suggestions and he wants to be sure he's giving us his best.

Yeah I saw the photo which made me think the end of the year seemed unlikely and want it to be his best too but I also want to see him live this year and I live in England so I won't really have a chance unless he tours for album promotion

Yes, and all his songs about being down, but not out. Those empowering songs that Mika is good at. But what I really love the most about this song, more even than the others I mentioned above is that Good Guys has "worldwide hit (including in the UK)" written all over it.

I think it really could be the song to bring Mika out of the gutter, and back to the top of the UK pop charts.

So I hope he releases it here, on it's own perhaps, without HE, and does some publicity fot it and the album.

In short, last week at the end of the show Emma was in the ballot with Ilaria (Team Vicky). Nobody expected it, Emma was one of the favorites to win. Mika was very very sorry .... Emma sang very well last night, and her unreleased song was beautiful.

In the final choice of the judges, Vicky eliminated Emma to save her contestant, Mika eliminated Ilaria for the same reason. The decision was in the hands of Fedez and Morgan, in this order.

Fedez said that he thought it was right to go to the tilt ... that for him the two girls were at the same level, that he did not know what to do.. .but at the end he eliminated Emma.

Morgan had already said, at the beginning of the show, the he wanted to support Vicky team, in any situation. Perhaps the idea to see in the final only Mika and Fedez contestants, for him was unbearable. So it was clear to everyone, including Fedez, that the tilt was possible, only with a Fedez's choice against Ilaria and not against Emma.

The end of the story is that Emma has been eliminated. :aah:

Mika was angry and disappointed (I was expecting another behavior by professionals) and the debates around this story have been endless for days.

Who blames Morgan, for refusing to save a talent like Emma for his own reasons.

Who blames Fedez for playing dirty: he wanted to eliminate Emma, the stronger rival of his team, and at the same time to remain "clean" in front of the public, placing the responsibility of the choice on Morgan.

In this situation, the relationship between the judges has been further ruined. At least... that's what we saw on TV.

That's the problem with the X factor it ends up all bias and not about talent- i think it should be up to the public all the way- no judges decision

But, in the uk anyway, the finalists/ semi finalists who don't win tend to do better but that could just be the uk

Everyone, I'm sorry I have read all these posts but I'm a little confused as to what happened?

I have been watching it online ( I live in England) but I am a bit behind as they are soo long and I have no time but in the ones I have seen, althought my Italian is not too good I sensed the aggressiveness of the judges towards each other (apart from mika and Victoria they were more on the receiving end)

Would someone mind clarifying what went on this week for me please?

Also the other week on flog it ( my dad was watching it) they played big girl and often on X factor auditions in England they use happy endings

Is it only me who has noticed for a while they use any other world on the si perfume by Georgiou Armani? And also a while ago on celebrity big brother bit on the side they played Grace Kelly when Leslie came on which suited himcwell I think
