Hi everyone I'm lory!

 

I have joined quite recently but I absolutely love Mika and I have been one of his fans for six years.How do I know him? Thanks to one of my father's friend who decided in 2007 to gift me ''Life in cartoon Motion''.

I really enjoyed listening to all the songs and I was really attracted to the colorful cover. Anyway, at that time, I was pretty Young and ,honestly, I really appreciated his music but I wasn't quite interested in him.

Oneday I watched ''We are golden'' video and i was completely enchanted and shocked!

Therefore, I started surfing on the net to find out who was the singer that I loved. Since that moment I have been definitely in love with him!

And now I am here

It's good to know Uncle Mika is in his hometown for a while. I hope, while he's in the UK, he's planning a publicity campaign for the album.

I really, really hope so though cos I have never seen him live but really want to go! He probably would to promote his album.

I'm new here so I'd like to introduce myself I'm a 20 year old girl from the Netherlands and I discovered this site a few days ago!

 

I'd heard Mika songs when they came out (Grace Kelly was on the radio here a lot and I remember liking the We Are Golden music video on mtv haha) but unfortunately I never really listened to him or appreciated his voice. Thankfully that has changed! Mika makes music that makes me so happy, but on the other hand his music has extremely interesting lyrics that cause me philosophize, which is what I like to do in life

I think he's very talented and um obviously very good-looking..

Hi I'm Gabrielle, 21 years old and I live in Paris.

 

I have been reading this forum for a while now but I never dared to post. Well my english is rather bad, I can understand quite well but not speak or write without tons of mistakes... But maybe I will improve here ^^

 

What else can I say ? I have known Mika since 2007 like most of you I think^^ I was quite obsessed when he first released his first album and then his second album but then I guess I kinda fortgot about him ... and didn't even realised he had released another album until a few monthes ago. And now I'm obsessed again. But this is worse than ever before.

 

 

So I don't know if I will post a lot because it is kinda scary here with lots of people who seem to know each other BUT I want to say a huge thank you to all of you who post videos, photos, news, translations... this is so cool !

Any chance to see him live would be amazing.

I have a really good feeling about the album, but I think ultimately its success will come down to how well promoted it is. And so far we've not had much here in the UK...

Perhaps we will all just have to save up for plane tickets.
