Yes, thanks, I saw them and reacted to your post. :thumb_yello: I just didn't have time yet to watch any full videos, neither yours nor the ones I've posted. Will try to catch up over the weekend.

About the screens, the way he said it in Big Girl (I saw a translation on Twitter) it sounded like he didn't mean a screen with his background animations like at Coachella, but screens that show him to the audience in the back. It's rare that he does these kind of screens, usually just at huge venues like Bercy, with 17,000 people. The arena in Montreal looked big, but not as big as Bercy.

Yes I agree, I’m not sure about the real reason for “no screen” 🤔

Bell Center, at full capacity, is very big (20 000) but for his show, Monday night, it was only half of it and not all the way up just the first section from the ground so I don’t know how many people we were 🤷🏻‍♀️Maybe something like 7 000 up to 10 000.

about the screens, he sais once that they were not working and later that he disn’t want them so it’s still unclear… nonethless, personally, I didn’t miss them, it made an arena show more intimate :)

I was in the 4th row so I didn’t care about the screen to be there or not.

i like to pretend that it was his choice to not put it on so we will concentrate on the atmosphere that he was trying to make with us.

i loved when he was asking to turn off the light and be in the lights of every single light of our phone.  Many times there was lights in the crowd like it will put us as one.  For me it was more intimate then other shows at Bell Center.  I don’t know if it’s because of MIKA and he’s energy and the magic that he can create because is who he is, or just because there was just no screen, who knows!?

anayway, I prefer the one I saw at the Corona in 2019, but it was so great to be back all together and forget the pandemic, at least most of it (thanks to the mask 😷) for the time of the show, singing and dancing like nothing else exist except his music and him.

  3. Hey MIKA fans!

So what did you think about the show last night? Pretty amazing that he came in the crowd, I didn’t think that he’ll do it because of the pandemic.I’m always amaze by the respect from the crowd and the fans while he’s walking trough everybody and nobody jumps on I’m or try to ripe is clothes.  And I’m lucky because he was at 6inchs from me 😍

Even though I was hoping to hear more songs from its last album, that I personally love the most, MIKA was MIKA and the vibe in the Bell Center was amazing 🤩 for a moment I forgot that we were still in pandemic with all the rules!

I didn’t film a lot of his songs last night because I was so in the moment but here’s what I got on tape 😉

Yes it’s the setlist from last night show….

in previous show he made new song but not in Montreal, sadly 😞

I was a little bit sad because I was suppose to see the show two years ago, thanks to covid pandemic 🙄, and there was a lot of good songs on the last album, but he just sang tiny love, ice cream and tomorrow….  I was hoping to hear Paloma, stay high or platform ballerina, but not this time…. Although it was a great show, but not enough new songs for me….

I guess they have a Covid spike going on in Montreal. My brother-in-law is finally coming home today from Montreal. He was on a business trip was supposed to come home around April

15 and somebody who attended one of the work meetings was sick and everybody tested positive for Covid and my brother-in-law had to stay at a hotel by the airport and got tested yesterday and is coming back to Houston finally today.
he’s fully vaccinated and he missed his birthday party with my sister Ann April 16 we FaceTime him during the party. They are both turning 60 years old this month.

Whoever is attending Mika‘s concert in Montreal be safe and have fun!❤️

Yes we have more covid cases since 2-4weeks I think.  But it’s not the worse one we had.

i can’t believe I will finally see is show! I was supposed to attend the one in may 2020.

Ticketmaster is the WORST. FYI they have just released first and second row seats.

I called and had my tickets  exchanged since they are the same cost as the seats I already had.

It was a huge hassle, but at least I’m in the front row now!!!

I went from Row U to Row J, now to Row A. Time to really start getting excited now!

I don't know if he means that he can forget it, or that he can make his audience forget it, probably both, but yes, that's the key to the magic at Mika's gigs. He has said it before, that a gig becomes special if him and the audience let down their defences - but I only understood the full meaning of that now, thanks to that quote. That is why Mika gigs are like a drug, why I can't get enough of them. I don't even know if it's about "forgetting" everyone around you - but you just don't care who might be watching or judging you. You are in tune with yourself, with the music, with everyone around you, with Mika... it's just pure happiness. In a way it's Mika who creates this with his music, but in fact I think it's about getting closer to your real self, about how you can be a very individual person at the same time as being one with the world around you. I'm getting a bit philosophical with this and it's hard to describe what I mean, but the feeling I get from this realization (or revelation :teehee:) is simply wonderful. :wub2: Now I'm looking forward even more to the gigs I'm attending next week, with this in mind.

i agree with you, there’s something special with his gig that I don’t found with other gig or artist.  It’s very special

Not necessarily... row AA does suggest it's frontrow, because it's like that at many venues! I'd have thought the same, and I'm certainly not a rookie when it comes to buying tickets online. It was the same at Paris Bercy, the seat row #1 is the furthest back.  So the first time I bought seats there, I also went wrong. If they don't have a seating map on the ticket buying website, there's no way to know. :dunno:

Happy for you that you were able to exchange your seats, I also didn't know that was possible!

me neither! I tried and was so surprise that I could do it! Maybe the guy felt sympathy for me 😂

anyway not in the front but 10 row so that’s way better!

  9. Do you want to know something funny?

it was the first time that I bought tickets online for a show, because it’s always my boyfriend who does that.

so I was at work working and manage with a friend to come take my place while I was online for the tickets sale.  My boyfriend was online too so it was the first one to enter to take them.

he was in first but the code didn’t work.  My turn came and no code to enter WTF!?!?! I took the first one I saw, AA on the parterre, I was like this is first row! Wow! Center first row!
i took it! Never enter the code by the way.

the confirmation mail when trought later and that’s when my boyfriend said to me that I have the last row! 🤦🏻‍♀️😢

i was so mad at me!

i wanted to buy an other pair but it’s to much money!

    i know it’s a rookie mistake 🤦🏻‍♀️😢

so yesterday I called ticketmaster and I did manage to switch for better one! Who knows we could do that!? 😁

so I cannot be in front row because everything is sold, but I manage to be 10 row in front of where I was before.

Im a little bit sad to be so far vit happy to be a little bit closer of where I was in the beginning.
