The idea of doing two concerts in the same city is brilliant, one arena show and the other intimate evening

Hello MFCers!
Mika's shows at the Philharmonie are fast approaching!
As you know, an MFC boat ride has already been planned for Sunday 24th afternoon. But the enthusiasm has been huge and we have thought about gathering also on the Saturday before the gig, to get together for a drink or two
MFC has found a bar not too far from the venue where we could have a little party :
- On Saturday 23 October
- From 4 to 7pm
- At the Belushi's Bar : Belushi's Paris Canal, 159 Rue de Crimée, 75019 Paris https://www.belushis.com/bars/paris/canal
- A private lounge for 100 Mika fans
- 2 drinks per person amongst the following : soft drink/pint of beer/glass of wine/house spirit + soft drink
- Food to be ordered and paid on the day as you wish
- Price : 13€ per person
A sanitary pass will be required at the entrance
If you or any of your friends would like to take part, please let us know here or DM me and send payments via Paypal at mfcregister@gmail.com
First come first served!
Hope to see you there!

Great! I'll be there, I paid two shares, mine and Alessia Guarinelli's.

OK...
Time to start talking $$$ or in this case €€€ !
Since it looks like we will have at least 100 people I need to collect 25€ per person from those of you who will be joining us on the MFC Tour Boat!
This amount is for the 1-hour private boat ride only. Food and drink will be available to purchase on board, or on the quay cafe before and after departure. I will post a menu of what will be available later today in this thread.
Please PAYPAL your payment as soon as possible to the Mika Fan Club account at mfcregister@gmail.com
Send your payment in EUROS, please, so there's no conversion fee. Also be please sure to state that you are sending the money to a friend rather than making a payment, so that there are no fees charged.
If the cruise is cancelled due to issues relating to COVID (please NO!!!) there will be a refund.Note that if we get more money than we need for the boat, it will be put toward a gift or flowers for Mika. If we get A LOT more money than we need, I will be keeping a spreadsheet of everyone participating so that we can talk about rebates.
If you do not have Paypal, please try to find a friend who does who can send a Paypal for you -- it really is the simplest option. Otherwise, please contact me privately and we'll see what we can work out.
If you have any other questions, or if there's something I've overlooked, please post here.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
PS Special thanks to @Cerise for the MFC in Paris logo!
Hi Deb, I paid two fees: for me and for Alessia Guarinelli. Thanks for all

WHO: MIKA FAN CLUB
WHAT: THE MFC TOUR BOAT!
WHERE: PARIS
WHEN: 24 OCTOBER 2021, 2PM OR LATER (EXACT TIME TBD)
WHY: TO CELEBRATE MIKA'S RETURN TO THE STAGE!
OK, I've had some conversations with various organizations about possibly renting a boat for our own private MFC Tour Boat cruise.
BUT... I'm going to be honest with you all. Initially I was told some things that have turned out not to be true, so doing this will be a little more expensive than I thought it would be, and we may decide to do a traditional gathering at a restaurant or other location. I'm trying to be sensitive to the fact that you all will have lots of other expenses on this trip, and that we will also be collecting for flowers/gift for Mika, too.
Here is where we are so far -- a basic 1-hour private cruise.
IF we get 100 fans to participate, it will work out to be about 25€ per person. (If there are fewer than 100 we could still do it, but the per person price would be more.) That will be for 1 hour and will not include any food or drink. There will be food and drink available at the quay or on the boat for those who want to purchase it. The boat will be exclusively ours -- no other passengers on board. While we are on the boat, they will play Mika music for us, as we cruise along the Seine and see the sights.
In the meantime, I'm having further discussions about what other options we may have as far as refreshments, and length of boat ride.
So what I'd like to do now is to talk about it here. And also I'm attaching a poll to this topic. Please let me know if you would be willing to do the private tour boat as I outlined it above, so I have an idea of whether we can even get 100 fans to do this. I know we've had 100 at least when we've done our get-togethers in London, so I'm hopeful we can make this happen as well.
Please reply to the poll as soon as you can, because if we're going to do this I need to book the boat ASAP!
Thanks!
Hi Deb, it's a very nice initiative, the Senna has its own charm. I make an observation: we do not know what developments the epidemic will have this autumn, I hope that everything goes according to well and that there are no changes of plans; for this reason I kindly ask you to check if in case of cancellation of the trip on the Senna due to the covid, we will be refunded the paid fees. Thanks to you for taking care of this. Maddalena

Enjoying the concert is the goal. For fan action we don't choose paper, I think the order is important, sure, better to use hands

The idea of colored fans is also very beautiful, it is very choreographic

as we will come from many countries for these concerts maybe we could do the same as we did at the Adelphi and show our country flags with the word thank you in our language at the end of the concert?
Mika's events always bring together many people. I see the flag effect well, with some tricks, for example, all of the same size

You can find the events in the Calendar and RSVP there. We'll start a new thread for the gig planning, once the ticket buying stress is over, because this thread is mostly about tickets so far. And in the new pre-show thread we'll put the event links in the first post, as always.
As a fanaction we could just form hearts with our hands at a certain point. It's not new, but I think it's a nice gesture and appropriate for the place.
yes, you’re right, one step at a time

Well, Mika's family and friends usually don't sit in the front rows - I've seen them most often in the balconies, or a dozen or more rows back at seated venues. I remember I sat a few rows behind Andy and Mika's cousin at one of the Montreal symphonic concerts, and 5 or 6 rows in front of Mika's dad and sisters at one of the London shows. I'm pretty sure those first couple rows are for MFC -- if only they would give me some details! This last minute stuff is killing me!
We wait patiently

This is the one for Mika, tho I think the row A isn't Cat2 but Cat1. Anyway it's this configuration with the chairs in the first rows and without the area behind the stage.
Other info from the presale today, summed up:
In the subscription it's enough if you buy 2 tickets for different gigs, and it can be the 2 Mika gigs.
The front area (chaises / chairs) apparently wasn't available today. We're hoping they might be saved for a MFC presale, but we don't know, there's still no news about that.
You can pay with credit card or with a certain kind of bank transfer that only a few banks offer (there's a list, mine wasn't on it). No paypal.
Fingers crossed !

Oh yes!
I mean, it's usually this way whenever there's a seated gig, but this one is worse since we're all so starved for a LIVE Mika gig!
Good luck to all tomorrow... and hopefully after that sale is done I will FINALLY get some info on an MFC presale!
Thank you Deb for your interest!

As long as they don't say we need to live in the same household... we're all one big Mika family.
But if there are rules like that, they'd have to say it when selling the tickets.
Long live the big Mikafamily!!

I just checked the summer concerts to see how the presale works, and on this map I find it interesting how you can see which places they apparently have to keep empty due to distancing restrictions:
The seating map for Mika's gigs is slightly different, there are no seats behind the stage but instead more in front of the stage, but I suppose the principle of leaving space between seats is the same.
I wonder if maybe until October the restrictions can be loosened enough for them to sell the additional seats last minute. That might be a small chance to hope for those who can't plan their journey already now and thus can't buy tickets now. And tho it's nice to have a place where to put the bag , it'd be even nicer to sit together with others without having to practice social distancing anymore. Fingers crossed!
Thanks Mellody, it’s very usefull
