I think i was 11 or 10 when Grace Kelly become a hit here in Malaysia. He always appeared on tv when I was little and I always wonder who is this talented-arabic looking-fluffy curly haired-tall man. Well,had to be honest, I never listen to his other songs other than Grace Kelly and Relax( my favourite when i was little). So as time goes by I forget about his songs, plus I dont think his other songs was as popular as the two in my country. So yeah I totally forgot about MIKA untillllll guess what...yes...YOUTUBE RECOMMENDATION!!!
Last year as I was watching youtube, the was a video of him from the voice where he 'auditioned' and played grace kelly (he forgot some of the lyrics). By the time he finished, there was Relax as the background sound and every memories from when i was little came back to me. Two days later, I watched all of his interviews (weird enough the first few interviews I watched was in french), starts to become a fan again. Still remember, one time, I watched his english interviews and kinda shocked( of course he speaks english *facepalm*) because he speaks english( imagine how shocked i am when later i found out he's a polyglot).
Basically through his promo interviews and videos on No Place In Heaven album that make me fall in love with his songs especially Ordinary Man. During this time, Mika was a month from releasing his single, Ice Cream. So yeah one things lead to another and later I started to follow some of the fans on twitter and insta( they are HILARIOUS lemme tell you that, keeping updates on MIKA and making comment or should i say meme 😂 about him which i found really cute, my favourite part is reading their posts and tweets after MIKA posts something 😂😂😂)
This is my very first time joining any fanclub. Other than Mika being so talented and creative, personality wise, I really think that he is generally a good person because he stays to his root and I think so do this fanclub too. 😊
