If anybody has seen the movie 'Once', its how they became known. Falling Slowly: They have such amazing voices and create beautiful harmonies. Theres something so beautiful about it, yet their voices are pretty simple. Once trailer: Absolutely brilliant movie. A modern day musical set on the streets of Dublin. Featuring Glen Hansard from the Irish band "The Frames," the film tells the story of a street musician and a Czech immigrant during an eventful week as they write, rehearse and record songs that reveal their unique love story. I've seen Glen and Marketa at Radio City once, and I've seen Glen alone at a little pub in NYC. I'm seeing them again on Sept. 14th at a really small venue, but I love those intimate little shows. It makes you connect more with the music. Their new album "Strict Joy" is fantastic from what they've shown so far. You can download "In These Arms" and "Low Rising" on iTunes right now.
