What do you think of this song I just wrote??? I was bored......

 

This is my story

All of it is true

Despite how much I hate it

I’ve got to say it to you

 

Fantasy is nice

Dreams are even better

But when the bell rings

Reality sets in forever

 

I’ve been living in this world

which does not really exist

Tuning out my ears

To the sounds of everyday life

 

Recently I realized that

I can’t go on like this

One day I’ll have to wake up

From this imaginary bliss

 

I guess that day’s today

It’s time for me to let go

I’ll tell you my little story

I’ll let the words all flow

 

Every tale has a beginning

And every tragedy has an end

All of the events in between

Don’t matter; it depends

 

I never really was content

with all that I had had

Maybe I was selfish

Or maybe I was sad

 

I ended up doing what I was good at

But not what I necessarily loved

I guess it was just plain old fate

acting from up above

 

They say every soul has a destiny

That life’ll play out in the end

But I guess that sometimes if you don’t make your move

You’ll have a broken heart to mend

 

Regardless of which road you’ve taken

In the end what matters is that you’ve made it

You’ve come this far
