Our grandparents' music

I think that the title speaks for itself but I'm gonna wirte down that what have I toght about...

 

 

My grandfather died when I was 5 but I can clearly remember almost everything he said.He was an amazing man,and lived for 79 years with that smile on his face that I'll always remember.

I remember asking him about his favourite musicians.He was a huge fan of Johnny Cash,Chuck Berry,Nina Simone and Elvis of course.

I was asking him to tell me his favourite songs.He had to think about it for 3 days the at lunch he leant over me and said that it's 'God's gonna cut you down'

As a 5 year-old I was not really interested in it to be honest.But a few days ago I Googled it.

It is the best song I've ever heard in my life, I think.

 

 

So I think that it's an interesting thing to speak about.If you have a story like this to share with us,please!Or if you know your parents!grandparents favourite musicians.
