Susan_xian
Hi, everyone. I'm Chinese and I'm trying to learn French. I found in my experience in learning English that listening to music helps a lot. But I don't know much about French songs. I have some from my teacher, but they are not only old but also terrible. Since here we all love Mika. I think we might share some taste in music? Except Mika, I like old Maroon 5, old Owl City, Justin Timberlake, Lorde, Musiq And also Keren Ann! Thank you soooooo much! They will take a while for me to check out! I've quick check some of them, which are good! I think Manon on The voice sang Formidable. It's Stromaé's? By now I think I like Thomas Dutronc, M, Téléphone I also like Ben L'oncle Soul, despite the fact that his music is so American. I love Motown! I love Motown! You're right! Manon sang Stromae's 'formidable'. Another girl sang one of Stromae's songs too, 'papaoutai' (I can't remember her name). By the way, Stromae is Belgian There's another singer who's big in France: Mylène Farmer ( ) . She started singing in the 1980s and is a kind of Madonna over here. Other female singers: Joyce Jonathan ( ) , Zaz (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7xgNx1q2rY), Zazie(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-MOPtRaTHY), Vanessa Paradis ( ) , Amel Bent ( ) , Inna Modja ( ) or Nolwenn Leroy ( ) I'd be glad to read what you think about all of these singers
