  1. :roftl:

Good job you are not his defence lawyer :roftl:

That's not a bad excuse really.

-well it was the best he could manage. Maybe he was jet-lagged after the long flight down from Newcastle

..............or maybe it was because he didn't see me drive over the Severn bridge

..................ok, so it is looking a bit lame, I was only trying to help!:naughty:

  2. is the travelodge you're talking near the venue? what about the prices?

    Hi.

I've just booked a room at The Travelodge Dublin City Centre, Rathmines and it was 39 Euros for a double room. I'm hoping that it's the nearest one to the venue. There are a few other travelodges in Dublin, but this one looked the closest on the map. I have never been to Dublin though, so please don't take my word for it, I may be wrong!

(if you try booking the night before the gig, it's V.expensive because it's Valentine's day)

  3. Fab isn't it Rose!?? :thumb_yello: At last! :naughty: I don't need to get him that map of the South West now, just one of Wales maybe :naughty:

Can you get one for Freddie too please! I had a text from him earlier saying that Mika is playing Wales, I thought that he had some inside info on a Cardiff gig, so I rang him up and it turns out he thought that Bristol is in Wales!:roftl:

(as if anyone from Sunderland, Scotland would know!:naughty:)

  4. :bleh: awww.. we had a good time, despite everything, didn't we ? :thumb_yello:

it's the ones you emailed me in past, right?

off bed, everyone. another long day tomorrow. :wink2:

Yes, it was good despite the unmentionable!

They are the photos that I emailed you. -They still make me smile now.

    Night night Avoca,

    x

  5. Of course not, but at least with seats, you can have a rest in the middle. :naughty:

Hi Sarah!:bye: Christine was telling me about an Adele gig they went to, where they turned up about 6pm had wine and canapes in the foyer, went inside to large comfy seats, and were out to go to dinner by 9pm ! Now that sounds really civilised! :naughty:

Blimey, I'm going to have to see if I can get into Adele!!!

(I think I must be getting old)

  6. hello, there :wub2:

    Hi there Avoca!:thumb_yello:

I was thinking of you only yesterday because I'm finally getting around to having the best of my digital photos printed.

It's taking me ages because I have 9 years worth to sort through, but yesterday I was looking at the Big Chill photos. There are a few good ones there!

  7. Sigh. It's great to be young and fit.

We've had two years of your kind of gig.

Time for my kind of gig. :wink2:

    Hi Babs!:thumb_yello:

I'm young (hmmm ok, not that young!) and fit, but I'm liking the sound of a Babs-style gig.......... Comfy seats, bar with waiter service, personal meeting with Mika afterwards.................

  8. I hope that you do read this thread, Mika.

We all had a wonderful time on Saturday night. It was your fantastic music that brought us all together in the first place, but now we have some amazingly special friendships too. This is no ordinary fan club, it has developed into something very special (I now have MFC friends who understand me better than my own family do)

The champagne was a lovely and totally unexpected gesture. The fact that you were actually on the phone while we were there caused a lot of excitement!

You probably haven't read the bit in the party thread where Kath said that a member of staff called her over and said "I wanna talk to you". -A very fitting phrase!

Thank you for everything, the music, the friends, the champagne and the fun,

    MM

I take back my comment on the oldlings thread teasing you about an all day lunchbreak now. I have to go now, hope to see you here later,

  10. Ohh theres an idea ... Freddies warm up thread / weather thread .. niceee

    Hiya

I've always thought of you as a kind of warm-up act for Mika anyway Freddie (in the nicest possible way, of course!:wub2:)

You keep us all happy and entertained when the man himself isn't around, which let's face it, is most of the time!

..............but a big hug is nice too!

  11. Bordering? I bet.

My memory is not good, but I have really clear snapshot memories of all my Mika experiences. Clear as day :)

And I had mixed feelings about the MFC. I didn't know whether I wanted to be involved closely in or out. I'm IN wholeheartedly now. :naughty:

That was the day that I really found out what a great bunch of people the MFCers are. I had never met up with anyone from the internet before and thought that it was dodgy thing to do, but after dragging my poor husband along for moral support, I then abandoned him and never looked back!:naughty:

(I think that he was relieved that I had the courage to go it alone after that)
