  1. Yes, sometimes I get so annoyed by that. The symptoms in my case are that I have a need for both sides of the body to feel even. E.g. Before going to bed I close my door with one hand, then immediately I have to touch the door with my other hand too.

it's crazy I'm doing that too ... I guess it's like the ying and the yang... It can't be that bad ^____^

  2. I've been too excited for the last few months, in a way I've not been for years. And judging by the way everyone else talks around here, I'm not alone!!

yep !! that's exactly my case ! I haven't been excited this much since I heard the beatles for the first time !!

I'm glad I'm not the only one :thumb_yello:

  3. My sister tells me I'm crazy because I care too much of Mika !!

    I think she's right :blush-anim-cl:

however I also found it on the web :

  4. I thought for a while (name removed) was Mika, but I think he/she worked for the record company and seem to have disappeared since 'the incident' (least said the better:wink2: )

    NO WAY !!!! lol !!!

    It's not a coincidence, i'm sure it's him ... ^___^ that's funny, isn't it ?

  6. ok !!! i try to translate you the meaning of the interview. However my english is quite bad so it's not gonna be a piece of cake ^__^

    1st part of the interview

first he talks about grace kelly and the sory behind the song (about record companies who would'nt want to hire him)

he says that he is a singer song writer and because of that people think he shouldn't make an album with crazy and funny songs.

he says that big girls is an anthem for the butterfly lounge

then he talks about billy brown who has an identity problem which is gonna change his whole life

the journalist says that his universe is very particular. Then he talks about his biography (beyrout, paris, london)

french was his first language (!!!)

the journalist says that the color and the happiness of mika's music hides problems : it's a way for mika to express himself

mika says that he wasn't the favourite of teachers.

He started working in music at 11 in a Strauss opera, then he made adverts

He is dislexic so it was a remedy for him to write music.

people could pay him ( 1pound or 1 euro) if he sang whereas they would smash him in the face if he told the same things normally

his lyrics are quite dark , so there's a contrast between his sound and his lyrics

then there is lily allen :mf_lustslow:

    then second part

journalist => la vie en dessin animé would be the translation of the album. His visual and musical universe is amazing, a french guy who would want to imite mika would be ridiculous. Says that there's a gay culture everywhere : queen, abba there are clins d'oeil ( eye blinks :S)

mika=> culture cain (??) theatric culture would be "cabotin" , far more than gay culture. Pop music is like circus like a good remedy and a good way to escape . All the positive songs are in the album the only negative song is hidden at the end of the album... as the end of a feast melancholy

journalist => how could you mix sounds that normally don't go together

mika => it's because of the way i swallow music , i listened to loads of artists ( reggae, baez etc etc )

i'm not snob towards music at all . When started classical music i didn't stop loving pop. i can listen to stravinsky and abba at the same time.

i first write the song with my piano then production is after, the melody is already written before.

i'm not defined by my sound but by my songs. Because of that can use rock and classical guitarist in the same album. Everything is mixed !

journalist => your producer is a guy that worked with loads of persons (pussycat dollas, rufus W ...)

mika => he made from trashy pop to hard rock. he mixes wainwright, pussycat dolls. my producer and me are a perfect combinaison.I want a whiskey.

OMG !!! he is the 4 of april in le nouveau casino !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! first appearance in france !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and two days after my birthday !!!!

    mika => i want a whiskey

    i'm gonna sing love today

mika => sings love today with his piano

journalist => it's really hard to sing like that... you miust have a lot of energy!

mika => yeah but the next album it's over it's gonna be far easier for me (!!!)

  7. I was just wondering, maybe he does come on here but he uses a different username??? Prehaps he is pretending to be another fan, like us. Keep your eyes open for tell tale signs....

i'm afraid he may have loads of other things to do than coming on this forum... unfortunately

But we can keep dreaming ^_____^ !!

  8. Well, I can tell you that I have read at least one arcticle where he said that he grew up listening to Dylan... so I would say that means yes. :)

really ??? oh my god ... A duo bob dylan/ mika ..... i think i would collapse seing them both on the stage

they are my two favourite artists ( still alive at least!!! lol !!! )

We should make a list of all those questions and send it to mika's music compagny , shouldn't we ^_____^ ??

I guess they would think that we are all crazy

Oh and what's more, I don't know if you saw mika on taratata last friday but he was AMAZING!! he made covers of prince&queen ( only a few seconds though ! lol !) and we could see him in backstage ... :blush-anim-cl:

  9. I would like to ask him if he would like to play at my 30th birthday party next year! ( i wish!) failing that i would like to know lots of little facts about him like what's his favourite colour, what side of the bed he sleeps on etc. Sorry am I getting carried away?

Although I don't know what "carried away" means ( I'm sorry my english is so bad :-( ) , i'm sure Mika would be delighted to play at your birthday party... however i assume he may be a bit too overbooked !!!:thumb_yello:

Being a big star is not gonna be funny everyday I guess !

  10. I haven't listened to Happy Ending much, but somehow it is instantly memorable, the different passages of it keep coming into my head, quite separately, and I wonder "Am I thinking of another song"... but then I hum it a bit - and it's the same one.

    CW.

oh my god that's exactly how I feel !!

What's also crazy it's that even if I listen to others songs i can't remember those songs and i keep mika in my head !!

for example I listened to "obladi oblada" 3 times and I kept having "stuck in the middle" in my mind ... For the first time in my life an artist has taken the place of the beatles in my head ... quite amazing :blush-anim-cl: !!!

  11. I think all songs are so beautiful :mf_lustslow: !!

however the one I prefer is love today, i can't help dancing on it !!

What's great about this album is that it is really coherent, each song is at its right place.

nicole ====> why wouldn't you buy the album on the internet thanks to ebay or amazon ?

  12. arghhhhhh that can't be ??? it's sooo disgusting !!!!!

what are they thinking of ??? tell mika to do sometthing about it !!! LOL !!!

a petition from the french fans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :punk:

  13. OMG !!!

    Help me !!!

I have mika's cd but there isn't ring ring on it ???????? Why that ???

All of you are talking about it but it isn't on the album !!!!

That's really weird because the playtrack of my album is :::

    grace kelly

    lollipop

    my interpretation

    love today

    relax

    any other world

    billy brown

    big girl7

    stuck in the middle

    happy ending

    over my shoulders

BUT NO "RING RING" !!!!!!!!!! LOL !!
