You're baaaaaaack
Hey you Hows tricks? Still in London? xxx
-
Aww, thanks guys
RAK! Missed you hon, how are you? I guess you are going to a few shows this year, that flag is really getting around isn't it?!
Gutted I can't make Latitude, weekends are a mare for us to get off work and we have a couple of family holidays booked this year. In 2007 we kinda sacrificed holidays for going to gigs and so we are making it up to the kids now. If I could've got the time off (and the spare cash!) I would have liked to take them - they are both little music junkies and would have a fab time. I keep promising to take them to Glasto, maybe next year. With the new album etc. hopefully Mika will be making an appearance x
-
Gutted, I've always wanted to go to Latitude as it's in my neck of the woods and it has loads going on - not just music but comedy and other stuff too and it's in beautiful surroundings. Too expensive for me this year though, typical Mikas gonna be there
Have a great time whoever's going though
-
Oh cool, I'll have a wander over and add some of you. TBH I hardly go on there as I didn't really get it! Mark is on a lot though, he has one of those newfangled phones which he has set to tweet everytime he gets an update :S !

Wow! Can't believe there are so many unanswered confessions on here. Maybe as HJ's, ahem, manager?! I can persuade him to come and answer some!
-
Hi Tia, Hi Violet Sky *waves*
So good to see there are still some of the old gang about. Didn't recognise any names when I first came on here, but glad you're all still about!
The confessions booth was a scream wasn't it! A few took it the wrong way, but most just realised it was a laugh!
Babs - HJ is hooked on Twitter atm. maybe if I drag it up again, he'll give it a go.... never one to say no to the laydees x
-
Hi Suzie Nice to meet you, I suppose I was never particularly a prolific poster, but met several of the guys on here at gigs! Maybe you remember my hubby, came on here as Holy Johnny with the confessions booth?! He certainly does seem to be on top form from what I've heard so far, good to be back!
Hi Cassi Thank you xx I'm good thanks and so is Holy Johnny! He is liking the new stuff too, dunno if he'll be back on here though, maybe with a little persausion! x
-
Hi Ingie, Hi Babs
Wow!! New Smilies, it's all been happening here hasn't it!! How are you guys? All well I hope? x
-
Hiya Mostly loving what I've heard of the new stuff. Sadly don't think I'll make it to any shows this year, but defo gonna buy the records and follow you guys at the shows with envy
-
Hi Thank you! I'm good ta, and you? No excuses for absence I'm afraid, just seemed such a long time for new releases, but M's back and so am I, I guess!
-
Hi guys,
Not been around for a while, OK for a long while !

TBH, Although Adele has denied it I am quite inclined to believe they are an item, and why the hell not.
Obviously, as Mika has a lot of teeny fans his management would much rather we think he is single and will be forever more, but sorry girlies, lets get real.
And for the record, although it has been churned around a million times, I see absolutely no reason why it should be such a taboo to talk about it.

I didn't think his dad was tall - not like Mika height tall. I was really just looking at his face, but since I'm only 5'3" I think I would have noticed if he was over 6' I think.
Mika seems to always tower over everyone. Even his bodyguards.
Perhaps not as tall as Mika, but Mikas dad is still very tall.
When our car got broken into at a gig last year he stood talking to my husband Mark (Holy Johnny on here) for quite a long time, he didn't say who he was and although Mark knew he didn't let on at first. It was only after they had been chatting for a while Mark actually asked him. He told him he must be very proud of his son as he had been brilliant that night, he replied by saying it was the crowd who had been brilliant and that he had been videoing the crowd all night.
I should have added that he approached Mark as our car window had been smashed and was very concerned about us. All in all, a lovely man.
Mark is approx. 6'1" and he was definitely taller than him.

HEY YOU!!!
Good to see you back, how are you and HJ?
Have you guys entered the competition, it would be good to see you in Paris:wink2:
Hi Rose *waves* we are both well thanks Sadly I wouldn't be able to make it to Paris, but hopefully will see you at some point in the year. Chat soon xx

Today I went to Glastonbury with my mum and sisters and the people who play the musical instruments when I do my singing sometimes I forget their names and now there is a new one because I think one left but I don't know why (or who). Anyway when I got there there wasn't anybody there so we found a house and asked and the man said it was all over and he said "bloody good job too, now go away" which I thought was a very rude thing to say. I don't understand because when I last saw Patrick Wolf he told me I was headlining on the main stage so my manager who sorts out my concerts and other things wrote it in his diary but sometimes he gets it a bit wrong. Anyway we had to catch the bus back to London and people kept laughing at us because we were dressed like clowns I would have laughed if I was them too because I think clowns are funny. Now I am going to get in my jimjams and draw some more clown pictures before I go to bed.
-
New blogs please? They were making me laugh
-
Today I have done some drawing. I drew a clown it has a hat on and funny shoes my sister helped me because I couldn't get the arms right. And then we went to McDonalds for dinner. At McDonalds we saw a clown his name was Ronald McDonald and we saw the Hamburglar as well and he was funny so when we got home we drew some more clowns and showed mum she said they were very good. And then I said I would like to look like a clown so she said she would help me make some clothes to look like a clown for some shows that I am doing but I'm not supposed to tell anyone about the clown bit.

I saw this and it made me laugh...

Also, all of the wand-poems that are not Kata's are kinda freaking me out, tbh...
--Jack
Why, thank you
-
There once was an arse, quite cute I suppose
we don't know if shaven or waxed
twas owned by a wizard, who used it as most
to sit upon when he relaxed
but sometimes the wizard was shakin' his stuff
and something quite odd became clear
it's said to be true, if you looked close enough
a sunbeam emerged from his rear
so people would gather from there and from here
to get a good look at the man
according to rumours all those who got near
came home with a beautiful tan
I just did a little wee.
-
I seriously laughed out loud now, think I woke up the neighbours :roftl:
but are we sure about the mop?
I read a thread, but had to stop
there are some things we shouldn't know
unless he is prepared to show
Is big, or is it small,Is it pierced on the end with a hoop and a ball
can it glow in the dark, is it shiny
Is it hairy and is it tiny?
I guess I will never see his wand,
I just don’t have that special bond
At Somerset House, he made a new mate
Its fair to say they were getting on great
So out came the wand and his friend came running
"Oh My God Mika, I'm Alan Cumming"
-
a magic wand is not a toy
you give just any girl or boy
they really can't be used for much
if you don't have the magic touch
Loving this
Mikas got a special wand
Its just like him, tall and long
with a curly mop on top
It will never be a flop.
-
Kata brought up Mikas wand (LOL)
and about their special bond
It really is his favourite toy
What a very lucky boy
I often dream about the day
He brings his wand around to play
I would grab it with both hands
Mika, what a magic man
-
awww that's a sweet one
Cheers mate Loving your one about his wand though, gotta be my fave so far. That and Babs chips and gravy.
First single -We Are Golden!!

I am stunned, shocked and well, quite frankly gutted :S
On first listen I hated it, infact so did everybody around me at the time. Which prompted some serious p*** taking as they know how much I like Mika. Add embarrassed to the above list
Ok, so now after hearing it what feels like a gazillion times (thanks Radio1) I can appreciate (?) its catchiness, but the whole "we are gawwwlden" (perfect description btw) bit makes me cringe.
What really worries me is, was this really the best track he had on the album? After such a long break this single needed to be as spectacular as Grace Kelly was, and surely most of us can admit it's just not? I was really hoping he would come out with something a lot better both lyrically and musically and a lot less teeny pop, just to show all his doubters that he could. Instead this is the worst example of sacharine pop so far and will just confirm the opinions of those who see him as a tacky kiddies pop star.
Sorry. No, really I am.
