Pretty grey and rainy here today, although I am the other side of the country, I think it will probs be rainy there too

oh i know mine looks nothing like the design either dont worry i had to improvise and my costume wont look anything like the idea i have in my head

Yay! just checked ebay again and they have the socks in one size fits all (God, I hope that includes me ) so I have them now, but the ragdoll dresses they have on there are of the um, more adult variety! So I think I will carry on the search...

if its anything like the pattern i used to make my skirt......i had to alter it many many times and change it ....and it was confusing as hell

 

but i got their in the end .... they dont make patterns easy ...it was meant to be a simple design aswell

Yeah, thats exactly what I was thinking! I doubt the final product will actually look a thing like the pattern! I need some stripy socks as well, they had some on ebay, but none in my size. I guess I maybe able to get some from the sock shop. I know exactly what I want my outfit to look like, but the thing is trying to find/make something that looks like the image I have in my head

Unfortunately very badly I bought a pattern for a dress, but no fabric :eek: and we couldn't find anything for HJ. Peterborough is so crap for shopping, so we are planning a shopping trip to Norwich, hopefully we will have more luck there. Put it this way, the pattern is definitely a last resort!!

D'ya know what? I couldn't even get angry at this guy. It was so rubbish, I think he has made a fool of himself enough! I even found the crapness funny, especially when he obviously can't think what to say next! He obviously didn't think it through very well did he?! I did however comment him (whitwoo2002), just to try and make feel like the fool that he is

Maybe a lot of the problems arise because he is trying to "conquer" the world all in one go too. I mean I have never known an artist to do this before to such the extent Mika does. He is in a different country from one day to the next. I don't think he knows how to take things slowly! Most bands/artists will tour maybe once a year, usually to tie in with the promotion of a new album, but Mika seems to be doing it constantly - as soon as one tour finishes another starts in another country, with extra shows and festivals dotted in all over the place... and then back round again!

It is easy to see how problems are going to arise, but it certainly isn't fair on the fans when things go wrong which they inevitably will with a schedule like this. But on the flip side of the coin - as this forum shows he already has fans all over the world - all of whom want to see him play in their country or part of the world, so can there really be a solution to this?

Anyway talking of HJ, I am going to make sleeping beauty himself a coffee, I want him to get up so we can go out and look for stuff for our costumes

I think what he wants to do is have like a cardboard box with another attached and a curtains on it? so that people can stick their heads in the other box. He wants a picture of Mika in it!!

Well, I know what you mean about looking cheap. It certainly isn't an expensive, glossy production like maybe GK and LT were. But I kinda think it has charm, and colour and Big Girls

Actually I really liked it! It was fun and it made me chuckle. It looked like a scream to do, and I love the look on the peoples faces in the market It just looked like everybody was having a really great time and that made me smile

Bless me father for I have sinned, last night I went without our lord almost all day, I did not even find the time to pop into the confessional booth of our holy temple of Mikadom.

I was out celebrating the 18th birthday of my daughter Vix, I hope the fact that we got up on the dance floor of light and shook our "booty" leapt very high in the air waving our arms frantically and singing at the top of our lungs in extreme dedication as soon as they played "Grace Kelly" which was quickly followed by "Love Today" which we immediately repeated our public displays of worship. Unfortunately the holy water was a little too strong for me and I fell to my knees as I left the dance floor of light, of course this was purely an act of total worship you understand, and the sniggers I heard were obviously from the unenlightened ones.
