I’m working on the ‘Love Today’ video at the moment and the whole concept for it is a story of a hooker who’s too old and she never gets picked up. We called her Carolina and every night we would check out if Carolina got some business.

Then there’s another story of this little girl who comes from a middle class family and then as soon as her parents …Anyway there are always these little stories and in the video it’s… I don’t even know what I’m saying… In the video we’re talking about all these stories, whether you’re a hooker or a guy who can’t get laid and you get depressed or whether you’re a girl who lives a secret life from her parents and who is insanely horny and slutty. Everyone is exactly the same and we’re all just trying to get the same things just in different ways. I wish I knew the point I was trying to make!

The only email that I've had from seetickets says that they haven't received them from the promoter yet and that I should ring them if they don't turn up by 5 days before the date.

It's weird that you've had different emails to me, but I'm not worried (yet!) after reading the other comments about seetickets always being late.

Yeah that's what they all say I think.

You usually get about 4 or 5 of those emails before they dispatch tickets. That's happened every single time I've ordered from them (which is a lot)

Yeah seetickets like to stress you out a bit but they always turn up ... eventually. I ordered my Scissor Sisters tickets from them too and they turned up 2 days before the gig!

I haven't got mine yet either. Seetickets don't dispatch until really close to the event. I had an email yesterday saying sorry for the dispatch delay. You normally get about 3 of those emails before you actually receive the tickets so I wouldn't worry....yet.

I don't think tickets for the Academy have barcodes. Your tickets look about right.

I'm going I'd still rather go to the Barfly one but I can't waiiit for this one!!

Damnit I missed the beginning..Didn't realise it was this late already!

I'm sure there will be loads more dates over the next 6 months or so!

And just found out there are no A level exams on the 17th

It kinda becomes a habit.. and once the weeks over it feels so strange!!!

Aww I love it when they put radio 1 shows on BBC interactive When there's nothing else on TV you can just sit and watch the gigs on loop for a few hours haha

I'm gonna check the exam board website and check i've got no exams the next day.. not that it'll make any difference - i'm still going! Hopefully they're starting later than that though.

(concerts at the academy don't tend to run as late as arenas in my experience. when I saw Lily Allen there last year it finished at 9.15!)

Ticketmasters the most reliable in my opinion for getting tickets out in time, most of the other companies seem to run with seetickets.

I'm not a huge seetickets.com fan..They always seem to dispatch tickets really late compared to other sites. I remember the panic when my scissor sisters tickets didn't arrive until the day before the concert.. 2 hours before I had to get on the train to London!

Yep it should be definate. You should get a confirmation email to say what you've booked.

I knew there was a reason why I didn't pay £40 for tickets on Ebay - I'll be at the Academy Just hope I have'nt got an exam on that day :| Damn A-Levels

I'm currently trying to get someone to go to the Birmingham one with me too...i'm also watching all of the E-Bay tickets. But I think i'm just going to wait for the next tour which will probably be soon I guess. It is a bit much paying £30+ for an £8 ticket. I wanna go to Koko because i'll be in London that day anyway because of another concert on Wednesday but those tickets are even harder to get!

I really wanna go but the tickets are all at least £30 each on e-bay now and I don't think any of my friends will wanna pay that much for an £8 value ticket... :S

Hope they upgrade him to the academy or something and release more tickets otherwise I doubt i'll be able to go
