Oh, "happy" day:tears: Today was the day when I went to the second biggest cities in Estonia to Buy "Life in cartoon motion". That's what happened in the first store: "Hey! Do you have Mika's album?" "Well...Mika...no, we haven't ordered that." ....So I moved on and visited another store "Hey! Do you have Mika's album?" "No." ....Then I felt a little desperate already...but tried again..."Hey! Do you have Mika's album?" "What??" "Mika's!" "Erm...no.":boxed: .....Hopeless

poor you! i don't have the album either but i downloaded it and i ordered it at the store they have no idea who MIka is.

The album is absolutely brilliant! My current favorite song is Stuck in the Middle.

 

I have only two complaints:

 

1 many of the songs are too short.

2 For some reason I think he could have done a better job with 'Any Other World.' It could have been a little more powerful (can't find the words)

I think "Any Other World" it's the worst song on the album.

I haven't downloaded all the mixes from iTunes as I had them on CD's or 12's and the extra tracks Over My Shoulder on the Grace Kelly CD and Satellite on 7", which converted to an mp3, so no need to buy them again.

 

I bought the Dodgy Holiday 4-track download for myself and for several friends for Christmas.

 

And have the podcasts either from iTunes or other original sources.

 

Some of the tracks I got as pre-release 3 track and a 5-track, but still bought the download and CD formats of the album.

 

Can't wait for more promo video - or a proper DVD !!!! Might as well ask for the moon even if I have to settle for the stars.

When you go into iTunes there is a nice Banner heading of Mika, first thing you see. When you call up Life In Cartoon Motion, they have made a really lovely page with Mika depicted in the album graphic. Takes up the depth of my big screen.

I really had no idea where to post this so if it's in the wrong section im sorry but for the past week or so I've been trying each day to sign up for the Secret Society but for some reason I cant figure out how. When I go to the US page and click on the "click here" button for the Secret Society it says that there's an error on the page that popped up. So I went to the UK page and when I clicked the "click here" button the only thing that came up was a privacy policy of some sort. I don't know if I'm just being stupid or what but it's really beginning to bug me so if anyone knows how I could fix this and sign up I would highly appreciate it...

I've told one friend of mine about Mika. She likes him a little. Today at school I heard one of my classmates say that Mika wears lipstick and I was like wtf? But he was talking about some finnish guy named Mika, that wears lipstick.

Today I called the best and my favorite record store here and asked about MIka's album and they were like: "Nica?" "Miko?"...I told them: MIKA! It's a new artist! Anyway, they didn't have the album and they don't know him :=( Mika needs to promote his music in Latin America!

Okay, this is a long one-

I went to the lyrics thread and saw the lyrics to so many of Mika's songs. I have heard the clips on his website and listened to the songs on Yahoo Music Videos many, many times. But where are y'all hearing all of these other songs?! HELP! I SO would like to find out where to hear more MIKA!

 

Also, where can you download any Mika songs (beside iTunes) and what songs are available to download? I don't have a mp3 player yet, and I am thinking about getting one. Does (or will) iTunes have more Mika offerings than other sites? If so, it is worth going that route, I think. Whaddaya think?

Still only 23 years old, Mika already has loads of material for the autobiography - brought up in war-torn Beirut, father held hostage at the US embassy in Kuwait, itinerant childhood, rejected by peers, child opera singer, misunderstood songwriter... will someone commission the biopic now, please? But he doesn't actually need any of that to command interest - just his acrobatic voice, fluent songwriting and flamboyant, statuesque presence.

Personally I feel that The Sun has bought this picture because they know Mika is hot property at the moment and are trying to fill a space in their paper! They probably got together and tried to decide what they could say about it and then realised he was carrying a bag! Oh big deal!

I actually had the pleasure of seeing said "man bag" on Tuesday and it's actually like one of those record bags that are popular with guy's and quite trendy!

So he has stuff to carry, they just wanted to print his picture and who can blame them, Mika is HOT!
