Finally back!!!

Didn't bring a computer with me to Chicago and I was dying to get on here after the show last night.

Anyways. THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!

Set list was amazing, he performed amazingly, band was amazing, just amazing.

pics and vids coming.

only complaint I had was some VERY rude people that were near me, not MFCers or anything as far as I know but very, very rude people... that really ticked me off.

BUT IT WAS AMAZING! Nothing could have ruined it for me though, if Mika's there I am happy.

The following "windy city" explanation is from the Freeborn County Standard of Albert Lea, Minnesota, on November 20, 1892[2]:

I'm pretty sure it's because it's right off Lake Michigan and the wind from across the lake blows right into the middle of the city.

Everything that we've said to our family has been, Well nothing better go wrong because Tuesday is Mika Day. Our cousin shouted at us that it isn't a national holiday!!!! We said it should be and that the world would be a better place.

It's definitely a national holiday in the world of Mika. In my world, it's like... better than any holiday I can think of. Better than christmas, birthday.... it's like getting to go to heaven for a day. LKSJDHFL! OMG I am going to die of excitement i'm like nervous!

I'm betting Mel, that you will not have to yell anything out and we will all just merge into a great big bouncy mosh pit of MFC'ers!

Where do we line up? (I've never lined up before....lol!) Is it just right in front of the theater?

I have been getting all my stuff ready today. I made something that is really neat! I can't wait to show you all!

OOOO! I can't wait to see! I got some white face paint pen type thing today and I think i'm going to do the white triangle on the cheek like Mika's been sporting lol.

We'll probably get there around 2, but my mom doesn't think that anyone will be outside waiting that early. She thinks I'm insane. I tried to tell her, but she doesn't listen.

My mom says the exact same thing. Parents just don't understand.

Oh! Also, my friend is (hopefully) bringing an iHome type thing so we can jam out to Mika in line.

Do you all have phones to access the internet and stuff in case of twitter updates and all that jazz? We don't have so we wont be able to contact you guys anytime...except in line and stuff. We're hoping to be driving the 3 hours to Chicago on Monday night to stay and then be at the venue the next day as soon as we can.

 

I can get twitter updates on my phone, I get alerts when Mika tweets and stuff, but usually when I try to send tweets it doesn't show up on twitter until hours later.

Edit: I just sent a tweet from my phone though and it went through alright this time. I don't know. haha

Mornings people.! Are there really only 15 of us RSVP'd for this?

 

a) I ordered the cupcakes this a.m. 6 carrot, 6 apple spice, and 6 sprinkletini and requested white boxershorts, MIKA, and "love from Chicago" and I forget what else. If you look at their website, they are artists.

 

b) I just have to figure out what I'm going to wear..

 

c) I have to figure out what time to have them delivered, who they should be delivered to, and whether we can get (what I'm hoping) if someone wanted to add some balloons or other SMALL thing. We could get the balloons to him pre-show. Just a thought.

 

d) they will be delivered as being from the MFC and then what? Chicago loves you? ideas?

 

e) If any of you want to chip in for a tip for the delivery person, $1 or $2 would be great. No need to if you don't. Remember inside the theatre only cash...no credit cards.

OMG! Am I the only one that had no idea there was even a video coming out soon?! How did I not know about this?!?! I just got home and it was like... "Oh here's the new video for Rain."

That being said.

This video is amazing. I think it's beautiful and artistic, really quality filming and costume, set design, it's incredible.

I think this is my favorite video ever.

Glad that everyone's gotten their tickets now, right? One way or another....

4 DAYS! This is literally all I can think about.

My mom says she'll go out and get food for us while we're queuing it up! Her back's messed up and she'll throw it out if she sits in the cold.... so i'm sending her to get us diet coke and pizza, or things of the sort.

I love the new couple.... I just don't know how long it will/can last! Love them both dearly but... you know.
