  1. about the priority thing i spoke to someone in the abc o2 venue instead of the o2 academy which i did a few months ago ..... im waiting on a girl getting back to me today or tomorrow to find out for def if theres gonna be a separate queue but even if they say no she said they could change their mind on the night

  2. I fear I don't understand everything, there will be a priority thing for O2 customers ?

So nobody seems to enjoy the arranging time... So everybody arrives when he wants, right ?

if you use o2 as your mobile phone provider you can get perks like a different queue from non-o2 customers !

debs what time do you want to start queuing at ? i can get in the town by 2ish if that helps !

  3. I've been told that before but it doesn't always happen so I'd check directl;y with the venue if I was you. I'm an O2 customer too. Also to qualify tickets must have been bought thro O2 not Mikasounds I believe.

On a different topic, I still have my ticket that I'm trying to give away! Someone must want a FREE ticket? Perhaps one of the Scotties could drag a friend? PM me.

i already phoned them & no they said it was people with an o2 sim that get prioity too !

  4. It's not selling that well so i doubt that a lot of people are going to be queing doors open at 7 i will prob be there at about 6ish!

I did hear though that if you are with o2 you can skip the q, however i am not sure if thats accurate!

    x

as rose said its not skipping its a priority queue for o2 phone users which i am & so are my friends that are going with me !

  5. Ok ! Thank you for all these details :wink2: and yes, we'll stay at the Eurohostel ! Do other people stay here too ?

Hope the pushing and everything only depends of the audience so hope Mika's audience in Glasgow will be quite fine ! :naughty:

And I'm totally for arranging the queue start :thumb_yello: I think it could be a nice experience to test. Finally, we will be 6 Frenchies and we're in !

Let's see what the other people think ? What time di you all suggest ?

Because it's not cool beeing frozen all day long !

in may 2007 Laurence & her friend stayed there so if you speak to her maybe she could give you some info on the eurohotel :thumb_yello: just a pity there so many of you coming to glasgow or i could have put a few of you up in my house like i did for Laurence , Lucinda , Ighins & greta it could have been fun :biggrin2:

  6. Yes, it's always complicated to go abroad...

With my friends we wanted to visit a new country too, to do sightseeing and we wanted to experience gig in a place with a different audience than Paris or France or even London. So when you said gigs in Glasgow were getting crazy, that scared me ! :naughty: Is it right ?

So you want to sort out a time when we could start queuing ? Why not ! if it could avoid a long day of queing in the cold...

But do you think all the MFCers on the list will be ok ? And we how about the people who don't belong to the MFC ?

Just a question, can we go by walk to the venue from the city center ? How many time does it take ?

Is it ok and safe to come back, by foot again, after the gig ? Sorry, but we don't know the city.

Can't wait to see Mika, meet new people and visit Scotland :wub2:

i mean crazy like inside the venues like pushing , crushing of bones , nearly every gig i come back from these days im badly bruised :( theres not that many going to this gig from the mfc so i dont see why there wouldnt be a problem in arranging a queue start + its gonna be cold not just because of the weather its very open where the o2 is situated ...... as for the locals well its a school day so we should be fine ! yes its you can walk to the venue from the city centre , i think its about a 10 or 15 min walk from the eurohostel if thats where you plan to stay & its quite safe !

  7. yes I totally agree :wink2:

With this number system, it's always was quite good, right ? And of course, we have to be during the afternoon in front of the venue to queue not too late.

You say Glasgow gigs are crazy ? is that true ? Well, We were happy to do a gig outside France or London to be more relaxed ! :naughty:

Don't put everyone in the same bag :wink2:

well then i think we should all sort out a time if no one up to queuing early but everyones got to agree to it , i dont want to queue early if it can be helped :thumb_yello: say after 3pm it means we wont be too smelly or cold :naughty:

nah i cant do france or anywhere else in the uk , lack of funds & free baby-sitters !

  8. You're talking about us ? :naughty:

wow, hope you won't queue this early ! pleaaaaase ! :naughty:

We won't arrive that early, because we are also there to do sightseeing so we want to enjoy our stay in Glasgow and visit Scotland the other days !

don't worry, we're not the craziest french girls regarding the arrival time ! :naughty:

And don't worry scg, no problem for me neither if you need to come and go to your home ;)

its better if we number everyone in the mfc , at the last mika gig in glasgow i arrived at 3.30 pm & i was the first person there & i ended up second row , still a good spot but gigs in glasgow are getting realy crazy & being claustrophobic doesnt help ..... i had to pull out of front row at an iglu & hartly gig on wed as it got realy bad ! but back to the numbers they aint gonna work when the non mfc people arrive so i say if your not in the queue by say 5pm your fecked for a good spot thats if the sales pick up !

  9. Well I can pop along before that, I'll be in Glasgow about 7.30am on the overnight coach.

I'll grab some brekkie and get over there, that is if the French girls aren't there first.

sorted .... now i need to get back to my zoo world & petville & yoville etc etc gawd the list just goes on & on :roftl:

  10. Good idea, if you start the list then.

Can you hang around for a while til someone else gets there to take over from you, then you can pop off to do your thing :naughty:

Do you have to pick the kids back up from school?

i need to be back to give them their lunch so i will need to go to gregs to grab their grub then get my train at 11.45 to be back for them !

  11. Get as close to me as you can:wink2:

ill be going as soon as i drop the kids off at school ill bring a pen just incase im the first one there & a sheet of paper saying - sheena was ere so f you all im first or better still i`ll go the night before or 3 nights before :naughty:

  12. Yes, we will be getting numbered, I dare say.

Make sure it doesn't come off when you are doing whatever to whatever:roftl::roftl::roftl:

ahem im going to bring this up then ..... you know how this is the only gig im going to this year .... you know this is my home city ..... you know how everyone helped charlie to get front row when she came to glasgow cause she had never seen mika ..... you do know ive never had front row at a mika gig ..... well ?????????? i dont want to cause a rumpus on the day but !

  13. i spoke to biche on facebook today:thumb_yello:

I could answer for her because we're going together ! I don't know what you mean with the body spray, but we're 8 friends from the french forum to come ! we wanted to share a foreign date, and wanted to do sightseeing ! so we choosed Glasgow !

For the Zenith, it's a brand. The first one was open in Paris, and then in France. There are about 15 zenith in France, and they have to be special (size, number of people...)

Well, my tickets were dispatched ! can't wait to receive them !

im gonna disagree with you on this one ........ i saw mika play in the abc , barrowlands & the carling , by far the carling was the best of all of them !

Random fact but the O2 in Glasgow used to be the Carling Academy it recently switched to the O2, Carling academy was never the best for gigs and never been to it since it switched to the O2,

On another off topic note the barrolands in Glasgow is the best place to perform a gig, i think i might go and tell Mika this when we meet for tea and crumpets :aah::naughty:
