Hiya...Someone in the Oldlings thought you'd managed to get one - what happened??

Wow...it's all going on here. Mixed emotions for me - while I am so happy for everyone that is going, I can't help feeling a bit sorry for myself that I haven't won tickets and a teensy bit green eyed that I can't go and will miss a fab show. I know I would have real problems getting to Manchester by 5:00 and it would have been a logistical nightmare, but where there's a Mika, there's always a way:naughty: .

I'll look forward to reading all about it on Thursday and seeing all the pics.

To everyone that is going - have fun and for those of that aren't, there'll be other times....

They did show more, as I said on the previous page I managed to see Mika singing: Big Girl(twice), My Interpretation, Billy Brown(just the end bit), I want you back, Love Today, Grace Kelly, Lollipop, Sweet Dream and Ring Ring. I think they may have shown more before I had realised he was on the one channel. Though saying that most of it I saw on BBC interactive.

 

Love Today could have been ace if the crowd had sung the ‘ooooh a-oooooooh’ to go along with the drumming, that was a highlight when I saw him in May.

 

Dose any one thing he’ll ever be a headliner at Glastonbury, on the pyramid stage that is?

I couldn't help thinking the audience just didn't realise how privileged they were to be seeing Mika live. If I'd been there, I'd have been singing along and dancing away like an idiot.....there was a shot of one bloke at the front and he was like this...

How exciting!! Carri & Jemma giving up their tickets so Kath & Abby can go, and then Meimei gives up her tickets so Jemma & Babs can go.....I can't keep up with all this ticket swapping:naughty: .

Hello all, We are back,

We travelled from Eastbourne to London it took about 4 and a half hours there and a bit longer back as dad's car is on it's last legs (we were trying to work out if it was the tyres, the brakes or the exhaust making the rattling noise all the way back home )

The (second) screen-test was great we were in there for about an hour and ten minutes. We got asked all the same questions but she also sneaked in a few more "what would you say to Mika if you met him?" etc. It was great fun, we talked until her camera run out of battery!

I am convinced that she is my soulmate or something she is so awesome

(she looks like Mika, anyone else think so?)

 

At the end of the day whoever gets this deserves it, we are all awesome fans and I'm sure if they could they would invite us all 'cos lets face it. We rock!

I always leave things till the last minute anyway, so I guess if I was lucky enough to get tickets, I would just get in the car and drive. Then after the gig, the same.

It would be a problem if it was the night for washing my hair though.

I could pick you up on the way and we could share the drive:biggrin2: ...assuming we both get tickets of course...

I'm pretty much resigned to the fact I won't be going...Even if I manage to get tickets, there's no way I can get to Manchester and back by train in a night and it's a good 4 hour drive each way... . At least people that don't live in London are getting a chance at something....Hopefully someone from here will get to be the subject of the documentary - if not at the very least MFC should make up most of the audience!

Does anyone have any idea when it will be on the telly?

At least I can console myself with my upcoming Mika experiences .

I wonder when we'll find out about this. The closing date is Monday isn't it, although it may not be until just before it happens that the peeps find out. - and for all of us that have entered to win tickets....same day??!!! OMG! That's tricky! 24 hours notice would be good eh?

At least!!! Manchester is not the easiest place to get to, especially in the middle of the week . While I am all for going to places other than London to give more people a chance, Manchester on a Wednesday is a bit pants!

It appears that you all had a fantastic time, which is no surprise as he's the best!!

Did you all get your tickets through Ticketmaster? That's where i got mine and they have an online option where you can choose to get the tickets e-mailed to you instead....you might not get them by post until a week before...Your order confirmation should have a reference/tracking number that you can use on line or by phone to track them down...Hope this is useful...

One thing that is for sure.... a MAN organised this (badly!!)

So....no chance of meeting him at the gallery then.....I might as well cancel my day off and go on the Saturday instead...
