That's a good idea! I had the same e-mail and they then invited me to an informal screen test. I might be struggling to find someone else prepared or free to do this with me, so a thread on here is a great idea....I'll keep watching and let you know if I need to find a 'friend'....

don't worry just yet, there are still six or so weeks to go and the person you bought the tickets from might very well still be waiting for her tickets.some companies are very slow and have to wait until they have been issued.

you should however find out where the tickets will be issued from and ask for the reference no. you can then check the progress of the tickets.

i'm sure everything will be fine and soon you will have your tickets in your hands and then you can start planning the journey to london...

When I bought mine through Ticketmaster, they gave me the option of receiving them by e-mail instead of by post and I think I got them within 2 or 3 weeks of buying them...I'd ask for details of who they were booked with, a reference number and details of how they will be sent so you can chase it up e.g. post or e-mail...hope this helps?

We are currently dealing with a high number of people interested in taking part in the Mika documentary for Channel 4.

Unfortunately we are only screen testing the London based applicants due to time restraints but that does not discount you from taking part in the show as we have no set criteria.

What we are advising is for you to record your answers to the questions below on a video camera and send them to us.

Alternatively if you are able to get to London we can see you, and if not we are however looking into an audition date in Manchester.

DON'T do it. It looks as though you are buying a link to another website where you can buy tickets. It all looks a bit dodgy to me. Unfortunatley, E-Bay attracts people that play on genuine fans like us being prepared to pay higher than the odds for tickets, and end up laughing to the bank.

That's obviously just my opinion, and if someone wants to give it a go, that's up to them....I must be getting sensible in my old age...

Sorry, I know I'm a bit late, but I've just read through (most of) your thread! Well done Firstly, having a great idea and secondly, Mika actually wearing them! It just goes to show how much he truly appreciates his fans and how much the little (or not so little ) things mean to us...The pics look great and I can only imagine how much it meant to you to see him wearing them....

Last time I went to a gig where they confiscated cameras me and my friends shoved our cameras down our tops and they didn't bother to check. They should be fine though - it's usually the artist who determines on the day and Mika's been fine in the past.

There were loads of people at Camden & Shepherd's Bush with cameras. TBH, most mobile phones have a camera facility now, so it would be a nightmare to confisacte everything...You're right though, Mika's usually relaxed about things like that, so I don't think it will be a problem

Oh, funny! I did that too... And I was always very vocal about how much I HATED myspace and how I'd never join it. But then I gave in and made one so I could receive news bulletins. So much for my protestations!

I have become obsessed and my colleagues at work think it's hilarious. They have offered to bail me out if I get arrested, though...

I'm probably a bit older than most on here, but the last time I was even close to being this obsessed in the past was with Bros in the 80s....oh the shame....However, I have got it soooo much worse this time!

He came along at a time in my life when I was feeling a bit fed up and just bimbling along and now I just have to think about his music, his smiley face and meeting him and I just can't help grinning - that can't be a bad thing, can it?
