Anyway - the support was on and there was still plenty of space around, so we went a bit closer to the stage. Hell, I felt OLD!!! The support was Holy F*ck and they were bad. Ahem. So we didn't know what to do and started wandering around the venue to check out what I couldn't check out in February. For the final headliner, we ended up standing on one of the balconies pn the Dan-side. Which was ok because one really had a GOOD view! There is nothing like first row, really, but - I'm just wondering if it is, after all, really worth all this bloody queuing, all this annoying fuss and whatever, when one can have a GREAT spot like this (or even a spot 3rd row Dani-ish where we were when we came in at NINE PM) when one turns up 12 hours later .

Anyhoo, what I wanted to say - the gig was.., oh well, BUT I saw our ("our") Portugese security guy from December & February and so I went down to him after the gig (I just thought I'd kick my arse later if I didn't go) and he remembered me *pbs*. SO LOVELY!!! He told us that we would even have access to the aftershowparty in the VIP area (where Mika's party was supposed to happen before a certain mother gave a certain amount of backstage-tickets to a certain group of people ). So we went there (through some tiny, secret, strange smelling passages) - I think Mika can be happy that the party was held downstairs because in this VIP room it would have been easier to TOTALLY corner him . Well, we stayed for 15min, drank our (diet) coke and then went home. That's it basically.

Guess whom I met yesterday! Ok, you don't know him and you probably don't care as well but I'll tell you anyway :cheerful_h4h_:. We went to Brixton yesterday after that movie (which was really **** btw - don't go to watch it, it is NOT worth the money (Burn after reading)) - haha, that guest entrance is next to the stage door and it's one of those doors where people queued to see Mika in February . Well, backstage in Brixton is absofrickinglutely unspectacular - the venue is filthy, dirty, smells like beer and looked even worse (and MUCH MUCH smaller) than in February . Ugh. Anyway - we went in, got our gues-wristbands (), and were directly totally confused because the backstage area looks like a maze - there are numerous stairs that lead to I-don't-know-where, lots of doors that all look the same, tiny tiny hallways that lead into dark, unknown parts of the academy, every wall looks the same and it's loud... nice. Anyway, so I grabbed the next security guy and asked him where we would have to go and he just asked "Where do you WANT to go?" - ":blink:? Ehm... INTO the venue, somewhere in front of the stage maybe?" - "Oh, then take this way.". This just makes me wonder where the usual guestticketholder of a gig hangs out . Anyway, so we wandered through these hallways (if that's the right word) and ended up directly next to the stage next to the girls' toilets (there are toilets left and right of the stage in Brixton). The girls' one is on the right (Dan-side) - which means we'll have to fight our way through to Hugh in December *prepares*. Frick.
