I'm gutted I can't go to this show, it's been YEARS since I've been able to attend a show. I have 2 tickets for LA Show April 20th. Been a long time Mikafanclub member, follower since 2007, even if I lost touch with the forum. Please let me know if you're interested. They are will call tickets so I would need to change your name to the ticket so you can pick them with with a valid ID. I can provide confirmation from AXS of the name change. Can do both tickets for $70 ( I paid $123), but they won't let cancel and I'd rather they go to someone who can enjoy the concert.

Ugh I'm so mad though, I lived in New York for 2 years and there were never any gigs, now that I've moved again back to Delaware, just a couple months later, he has one in NYC. Of all the luck

Hey Christine! Yes I did, we would all go together! Unfortunately since the concert is on a Monday it's going to take some convincing for people to leave work early. It was so much easier back then when we were in college and didn't have to worry about work haha. They weren't as big of fans as I was... only cause I would make them wait after the gigs to see Mika lol.

It's been a long time since I've posted... maybe like 2 years? But I will be hopefully going to this show! Maybe see you again DEB after we met in DC in 2007? Lol, like a said a long time. The site has come a long way! It looks great!

Are you talking about what he said during the concert? I thought it was like "Much to the surprise of the record company, we came back this year", meaning last time he came to the venue, he wasn't sure he'd be asked back.

 

But if you're talking about something else, never mind.

Yeah that's what he said. He didn't say anything about another tour while he was on stage. If he said it any other time then idk, but def not during the concert

Hey guys just got back from the gig. It was awesome!! I stayed away from here so that I could be surprised when I went to the show, and boy was I! It was an absolutely amazing show! Umm...ok I'm trying to remember all the details before the night turns into a big blur. Let's see, he messed up on the piano in the beginning and made everyone stop and was like "stop! i f***** up!" lol i always think it's funny when he curses. I think the crowd was a little quiet in the beginning but Mika got them riled up in no time. He did fall one time, I forgot which song he fell in but he just laughed it off and shrugged. When he was singing We Are Golden it was crazy!!!!!!! Everyone was shouting like mad, I think even Mika was surprised at how loud we were shouting. Lol he just layed on his back on stage and listened to us screaming "We are not what you think we are, we are golden, we are golden!!" It was great. During the part in the song when he sings "Looking for treasure in the things that you threw like a magpie I live for glitter, not you" me and my cousin, who was there with me, threw confetti into the air! lol I think he liked that, he ran over to us and smiled huge.

After the concert though was great! I don't know how long we waited but it was that bad, I've waited longer lol. But some people couldnt stand to wait that long in the cold so they left. Even though some people left there were still A LOT of people there! It was more like after a gig in New York with the amount of people there. I didn't expect that in Philly, specially since it didn't sell out completely.

None the less he came out, signed stuff for everyone there, and was as sweet as ever. He still remembered me and my cousin from the nyc gig that was at nokia and that was more than 2 years ago! Granted we have gone to a lot of gigs since then, but it's always nice to be remembered.

Jack it was great seeing you again...without the mask lol!!!!! I really enjoyed talking with you! Sorry you didn't get a chance to stay! You're card was amazing! Hope you had fun tonight meeting up with your friends afterward!

I feel like i haven't been on here in months!!

I finally got down time from all the business of school and I had some free time and wondered what I did last year when I once upon a time had time to myself and I remembered all you wonderful people and became slightly nostalgic of it.

So I just wanted to pop in and see how you all were doing!!! Hope everything's been going great! (ooh the smilies, ooh how i miss them)

Was it being sold by Amazon, or an outside vendor, K?

 

As of now, the only Mika DVD you can preorder through Amazon is the standard

version. Mika's management has hinted to us that they might be able

to get some deluxe copies and offer them for sale in the US (but I'm

not sure if through Amazon or mikasounds store or what...) and they

asked what the level of interest in the deluxe version would be here.

That's why I set up the poll. I think that if we can get them in the US

it would be great since we wouldn't have to deal with overseas shipping fees,

the exchange rate, and the longer wait...

I haven't been on here in awhile so I'm pretty confused. Can we not get the DVD at all or just the deluxe version? Cause I found one on amazon but it was like 45 bucks!!
