I always thought it was..." I can't walk, like God take my legs"

Hey Apples!!!
Forget me?!!!
Hope everything's well!
I've never been so busy in my life, it's crazy to think that how last year I had to time to come on the forum and stuff. I do miss it though!
School's kicking my ass hard!
Miss you all!
-
hey apples!!!!! Long time no talk!
I haven't had internet for over a week! It sucked so bad! I just moved into a new apartment and the people who were supposed to fix my internet for me were horrible! But i finally worked, just in time for school. Did I miss much? *trots of to go see what new crazy threads have been made*
-
I am still hanging out to meet any one of the apples!! One day, one day...
I like looking back on older footage after a big break from it all.
Me too!!! One day, hopefully in the UK, and then me and babs can finally have a turnip together lol
*fingers crossed*

Ok...I made a photo bucket account and put the pictures on there. It doesn't like it was very high from the pictures but trust me they're really high!
They're all pics of my friends...I think I'm in a couple, I'm the only Indian girl in the pics lol

Oh and I tried to upload some videos on it too, if they ever upload. There aren't any of me jumping though
My friends kept forgetting to do it!
My only proof that I jumped is that there are pics of me in the water! My mom didn't believe I jumped lol, until my friends told her i did!

WOW...that sounds cool!!! What I like about extreme sports also is that the excitement is not just doing it, it's also about the journey and in your story I couldn't help but feel excited
Like I always wonder about the rush I'll feel (if/when I go skydiving)...like the excitement sitting in the plane/helicopter and then looking down and then standing on the edge ready to jump
I can't see your fb link..it says content not found :S
I know exactly what you mean. It's the biggest rush ever. Your adrenaline is pumping so much!
I'll try to post the pics in a different post!

Haha nice thread babs, never noticed before
I agree. Despite my heritage, I prefer the American "yo" over the Canadian "eh". This fikifikifiki sounds interesting though. I'll have to give it a listen when I get home.My dog's name is Yo-yo

Ahhhh! This is awesome! I want to do so many things like this some day. The most extreme thing I've done is gone cliff jumping. That was pretty cool! It was fun cause me and a group of my friends went to this park that was like 3 hours away. When we got there we didn't know where the cliffs were so we asked this lady directions, but she wouldn't tell us unless we promised we wouldn't jump off the cliffs because technically it was illegal and kind of dangerous. But she ended telling us and we found it. It was crazy we had to hop a fence and climb over rocks and stuff just to get to the cliffs. Then once we got there we had to climb down the cliff and check if it was deep enough and if there were any rocks or anything. So we did and it was safe, plus it was on couple websites where people have jumped (even though it's illegal lol). I was the last one to jump cause I was so scared. Not so much of jumping down but of climbing back up because it the rocks were slippery and you had to put you feet in just the right spots to get up. There were like 4 jumps I think. The first one was only 10 ft, and then it went like 20, then 35, and then 45. I of course started from the very bottom first! Somehow I worked my way up to 35, but by the time I was on the 45ft platform and started thundering and lightning so I couldn't go ( I think that was a sign from God telling me I wasn't really lol). Anyway it was the best thing I've ever done! It honestly was the biggest rush ever! And no matter how many times any of us would jump in it always take us a couple seconds to do it because it was kinda scary every time. The most scariest and funnest thing ever!
I'll try to upload some pics to show you guys. For now you can see on this link if it works...Not sure if it will. I might have to upload them on photo bucket first, but it's like 3 in the morning so i can do that tomorrow
here's the link anyway

Wow, this thread woke up! And Yop is here!
Do you guys think maybe I was too mean in the 1st post of that thread? I really meant to poke fun at myself for being so hard to please and "bored of Mika" than Mika himself. I hadn't realized that I mostly started negative threads lately. I may have to do a positive one even if he doesn't take me up on my vlog idea.
--Jack
I don't think it was mean at all! It's kinda true, in some aspects I can understand exactly what you're saying. I replied to it anyway so I won't post it again here. But anyway, I don't think it was mean at all. It was blunt with a tone of fun in it. It's fun to stir up the forum anyway sometimes. Kinda gives a break from the rest of the threads going on.
All in all, I liked your thread:thumb_yello:
P.S. Doesn't someone have a bday coming up????
-
I know what you're saying Jack. Personally I like some of the blogs cause it kinda shows bits of his personality and like he said it does seem like his own little online scrapbook. I don't mind them cause they sure seem to make a lot of fans happy to know what he's up to. But I see what you mean by saying it kinda takes away from the excitement of something new randomly. But I feel like that's like a lose lose situation anyway cause like some said all ready if he doesn't post people complain and want to know what he's up anyway. With that I said I def. don't read or watch all the stuff he puts up if it doesn't catch my attention either. That kind surprises me though because about a year ago I probably would have been all over his blog site. But there are some blogs that I really do like as well. I think I might be kinda neutral if not a tad bit for the blogs because some things really interest me.
Haha...there's my long thought process of what went through my brain when I saw this thread.
Glass of wine sure makes you think a lot before you go to bed

Oops you discovered my game = And yes, despite that Mika always snowing me with calls, invitations, flowers, chocolates, flattery, specially made-for-me songs (It was meant to go "Saraaa you are beautiful!" at first ) etc, I am staying faithful and will NOT cheat on my new hubby.
HA! Curls or no curls .
Yes, the disease thingie made me LMAO
Interrrresting . Let's not go there though or I will provide another theory by moi
It just find it obvious, sorry!! Maybe it just comes naturally when one is a bit observant (aka, nosey) and has a lot of experience watching people, their reactions, body language,etc...
No, YOU watch out Dilek, or that thing will knock you on the head, LOL!
Sorry, couldn't help myself there. I love you, really
Why not, I'd love to hear you opinion...

Well I'd say if Mika's dating someone, that someone must be well informed of what Mika says in his interviews or blogs. But of course, that's just a feeling I have
Touche, i stand corrected haha. Me-0 Niki-1...for now

So I'm really late on even seeing that this thread exists but I have to whole heartedly agree with everyone who is talking about how everyone needs to get their heads out of the clouds when they think one day Mika might be their boyfriend. I know I really like Mika as an artist but honestly we don't know anything about him, except for what he doesn't mind us knowing. No matter how many times you watch whatever blog he's posted or what ever interview. He's good at and generous with fans and the time he spends with them. That's about it. Seriously would you ever want to date someone who knows every little detail from interviews and blogs. It'd be totally weird. I don't know that's my 2 cents.
All right, I guess now that he's happy with Adele I can spill the beans. Which old gf do you mean though? In high school he briefly dated the girl who starred as Sally Bowles with him in their production of Cabaret. That didn't really work out though, and then he dated the guy who played Maximillian for a few months. That was all over by the time he graduated, since neither wanted to be tied down in college.
While going to the Royal College of Music and waitressing he had a short fling with a pretty co-worker who had come from France, and she really encouraged him to pursue pop music if he wanted it. (I think her name was Severine Vignes?) They didn't last long but stayed friends. In fact, she helped him with his next break-up.
His next (and first serious love) was a classmate, a tenor from Royal College of Music. They were together for over a year, and then it ended badly, as you all know. However, it inspired a lot of Mika's songwriting and also helped him decide to drop out and (with the encouragement of the aforementioned waitress) pursue his own music full-stop.
He was single for a while after that, especially since he had to concentrate on the album, and travel between LA, NY, London and Miami so much. He met Katy Perry when she was in between boyfriends and they almost started dating, but in the end it didn't happen--they had conflicting schedules, Katy wasn't over her ex, they couldn't see each other often enough, etc...
So he remained single until his album was out. Organizing the promo tour for the album, however, he started hanging out a lot with his best friend from Royal College of Music, Lorna. Since she was going to be touring with him, it was perfect--they could date and still keep it a secret from reporters. They were caught once though--you may remember those French paparazzi photos of them on vacation.
Eventually Lorna had to leave to pursue her own career though. They ended amicably. After this, he may or may not have dated Andy.
And now he's dating Adele. And they're expecting! It's so exciting.

You forgot about Cherise and the real reason she's the drummer of the band, and how Luke's jealousy of the two got him kicked out of the band

Hi girl! Good to see you.
I hope you've been having fun this summer. What are you doing in the fall?
No we don't mind bad moods here.
I think I may have a present to cheer you up. Check Facebook in a bit.
Hey!! This summer has been one of the most amazing summers of my life! I worked at a summer camp for kids with disabilities(Def the best job i've ever had in my entire life!), went cliff jumping, got to go to the beach, saw a coldplay concert i wasn't even supposed to go to, and just a whole bunch of randomness. It was great! Now it's ending and I have to go back to school. But I got a great new apartment that I got a deal for because the land lord was trying to get rid of it before school started so it's about like 1000$ per month that me and my roomate are going to split.
All in all it's been going well!
Sorry not to make anyones bad moods worse by bringing in all my excitement, but if it helps I just found out my best friend hooked up with a guy that I've really like all summer, a guy who she was trying to hook me up with so at the moment I'm not feeling to hot either. It doesn't help either when you're feeling real low and someone says to you..."I told you, nice girls always finish last"
So there's there's my summer in a nutshell, started out well, crashed, but then hopefully it'll get better when i move out
-
HEY APPLES!!!!!!
How have your summers been going?!!!
Haven't been here in ages it feels like.
Just wanted to see how everyone was doing

Thanks for the report Robi and Av!!!
They were great. It's nice to hear that he took so much time with you all. You're all right, I think he does like to talk to familiar faces. I would
-
There are no recordings of Century Man. He only performed it in public once and there were no recording devices allowed.
Yeah. I wish he'd preform it once or record on the new album or something. It was a good song, although i don't remember how it sounded. I just remember really liking it
-
"You're my boy blue!" Or girl rather... lol
Thanks!!
Well my off to bed, work in the early morning. I'm sure i'll come back tomorrow with a zillion pages of catching up
Good night!

Just one more thing, before I fall asleep at the keyboard:naughty:.
He was talking a lot about the gift and the site, and Avoca delivered all the letters. She asked me to post that specifically.
Aw she's sweet! I love her:wub2:

I knew you were a good 'un.
Haha...does it show???
Thanks babs
What can I say, you'd say the same if you saw these kids, they're the most amazing kids I've ever met in my entire life!
-
Yo guys! Just wanted to say a quick hello. I just started working last week at a summer camp for kids with disabilities and running to the hospital after because my uncle's there now. Having really been keeping up with much that going on here. But just wanted to say hey!
P.S I don't know if anyone here works or has worked with kids with disabilities but I have to say I LOVE my new job. The pay is absolutely horrible but the satisfaction you get out of it at the end of the day is worth so much more!
Catch you all later!

Thats awsome!!!! I'm glad you guys got a meet and greet!

But been at work all day though so anyone feel like filling me in on how they found people for the meet and greet and how many people got in??
