  1. Welcome to MFC Shane !!! I think you're right for saying that there is similarities with Freddie Mercury but Mika has his own style and i'm sure he won't change...anyway...:welcomeani: Your age doesn't matter...this site is for all Mika fans....See the oldling's thread

  2. All the messages about Lebanese food have made me hungry now:)

Wow!! I can't believe it - I'm number 1 on a list for the first time ever! :roftl: Thank u Cubitus.

Is there really Lebanese food on Mika's piano in the video then? I haven't seen the vid all the way through but I'll have a look next time.

I think Nabai is in the north but I haven't been there...

Cubitus... can I call you Cube for short? I didn't see the winner of Miss Lebanon - as soon as Mika's song finished I turned it to the other channel. So do you think Lebanon has a chance in the Miss World contest or will we stay true to form and not get anywhere?

So is no one coming to visit Lebanon for the holidays? Not even Mika??

Anyway, it's pretty cool knowing that there's a Lebanese Friendly list:punk:

Cube is ok....actually i'm known as "cubitus" by my college friends because of our studies :naughty: but cube is ok....I only saw the pic of miss Lebanon it was on the LBC TV site....As for visiting leb in the summer...i don't know...i really would like :mf_lustslow: but given how things are going on there...:boxed: you see what i mean...I'm pretty sure Mika's going to visit leb once the situation there is better...

  3. I´m not lebanese, but I love Lebanon for being part of my family tree :) I´m Lebanese proud!

cubitus - My uncle said to me that Nabai is a city in the mountains O.o But I never saw any photos of there .

Oh i luuuuuuurves eating Halawa it's so tasty...i eat it everytime i go to leb in the summer but i prefer it with chocolate :roftl: Nabai ?? i've never heard of that place....i think it must be in the north no ?!

Lara >> Both my parents are half lebanese dad > half leb half sweedish mom > half leb half brazilian..... we have a house in beirut and in the mountains you see from jounié :naughty: it's such a beautiful place...So mika's song relax was in the miss leb event ?! that's a great news :thumb_yello: i saw a picture of her....for the first time a girl without botox :naughty: she's so big 1m81  i don't think i'll go to leb that summer though...i have a job to do in the summer...for more info pm me

  6. Hey Lara :naughty: i guessed that the picture must have been taken from Aley because i've been there by night that's why i wasn't sure though :naughty: I saw that you posted some picures of lebanon on Mika's official site....Why don't you put them here ?

I wanted to ask you...is Mika already known in lebanon ? :wink2: how much ???? tell us

  7. Heyy Lara....Glad to speak to someone lebanese like me !!! well i'm half lebanese but still i speak the laguage very good eh be7ke mni7 3arabé :naughty: Actualy i was in leb last summer and i was wondering wether you've read an article last summer about mika in the "Al Balad" newspaper...Because that's where i saw Mika for the first time and the article was speaking about his success in the UK but now he's become worldwide known !! it's just that when i saw the grace kelly clip on the tv in February i remembered this article.....:blush-anim-cl:

As for the picture....it's really nice is it in Aley or Broummana ?? :naughty:

  8. Hi and welcome :wink2: you should definitly go to the australian thread there's a lot of australian there...but feel free to talk to anyone here....we're all friendly :wink2:

  9. Girls! I study Arabic and I knew nothing bout phrases Sou and Lebanese Girl wrote:thumbdown:

Though it's quite understandable, cause we study the classic variant, which nobody speaks:boxed: Seems quite useless, doesn't it?

Well, in my understanding "hi" is "salam"

and "how are things" is "kaifa halika (if you ask a guy)/"kaifa haliki" (for girl)

and I love you is "Uhibbuka" (addressing a guy) "Uhibukki" (addressing a girl) - that's almost what they write on MacDonalds paper glasses in arabic for "I'm Lovin' It":biggrin2:

Hey, Sou & Lebanese Girl! Is anything from my knowledge true?!

Well as lebanese girl and sou said...that's the old arabic...the arabic spoken on the news...written in litterature etc....but not usualy spoken by lebanese but i'm sure Mika can understand it too , if he can understand "schway" the lebanese form of arabic....:wink2:

  10. heyy i'm from lebanon wich is mika's home country i'm damn proud of it!!!!! to all that think lebanese people live in tents and ride camels it's not true...we'r just like u all exept the mentality here is a bit closed and religion and politics mix and that 's the cause of wars and conflicts and stuff (every month there's a famous politician or journalist killed(by car or underground bombs) for speaking up his mind...u may say it sucks and all but the lebanese people forget all about it after a day or 2 and they continue their lives normally. besides that the night life here is great...party non stop til dawn!!!! i love lebanon great country, u should come and visit...if anyone's coming just tell me i'll take u to the best places ever (yeah it's pretty small every1 knows everyone, kinda like a smal village so no matter where u stay it's not very far from my place)

    Me too...well i'm a mutt but still i'm mostly lebanese...and i confirm what you said...but actualy i don't live in Leb...but i go there every summer !!:wub2:

Ana kamen lebnani 7atta law mich 3ayech bi lebnen :naughty: :naughty:

  12. I was in a lycée francais just like mika but not in england though...and i was bullied by many idiot boys just because i wasn't too close with the boys group , was the first in my class and had many girls as friends so they started bullying me in front of them...they used to say horrible homophobic words even if i wasn't gay. One day i was bitten by 3 boys but nobody tried to do anything to stop it especialy the teachers....but when they grew up they stopped doing these bullies....I think that's why i'm a great fan of mika : first because he's talented and makes great music , second because i see myself in him as i'm a mutt too and have many origins (see the mutt thread )

As for now i think i forgot this horrible time or simply tries to forget...and i just can't stop laughing about what happenend to these boys as they're still at school hehe...:blush-anim-cl:
