  1. What??????

Sweet Dreams on the playlist? Surely not! He certainly didn't do it on Thursday night in Birmingham and I'd be gutted if he did on the Friday! I really miss it, Missionary Man is good, but I'd choose Sweet Dreams over it any day!

I agree I loved SD, Missionary man is a good song but seems they chose it just so Saranayde could join in. She's a stunning girl with a fabulous voice. But a backing singer should be just that - backing, she is constantly bouncing right behind Mika like a shadow! Has she just signed to the label and the record comapany are trying to boost her profile using Mika - maybe hoping the loyal Mika fans will automatically take her to their hearts too?. I have never been to a show where a harmonies backing singer has taken centre stage for more than one song. She is extremely talented and I'm sure she will have a very successful career of her own very soon but, I went to see a Mika show, not Mika and Saranayde show. Mika seemed to manage fine before she appeared, they just seem to be finding bits for her to do - i.e. dance in costumes whilst he changes his shirt etc. It all seemed a bit surpluss to requirements.

  2. Mika Mad - you are the bestest mum .....ever!!!!!

she was so excited about the concert - I mean after 5 hours of queueing in the freezing cold and then the crush inside then a big balloon then meeting mika (she looked awestruck like she couldn't believe it!) the big balloon go "BANG" then sobbing, then getting a poster signed then a cuddle and photo - She's had a long day bless her - not to mention getting slightly over-mothered by all of us - enough to make anyone want to cry!!!!!

  3. Thanks Robertina

  4. Alice was completely dumbstruck!

Mika said "hello", she said nothing. He said "are you ok?", she said "yes" and that was about it. I probably jabbered rubbish at him, but she has opposite problem of being unable to speak.

I asked her afterwards why she couldn't and said that she thought that she was dreaming and that it wasn't really him!

There are obviuosly 2 types of fans, those who witter on (like me) and those who become mute (like her)

    :naughty:

Oh Mikamad, she looks gorgeous - so glad she'd stopped sobbing - bless her cotton socks, that baloon was bigger than her!!!!

  5. So what time is evry1 getting to the Academy for the marathon queue session - want to make sure I next to you nice people again - and that there will be other around to guard our spot so we can take turns nipping to maccy d's for toilet/hot drinky/food/dry off (please please please don't rain:mf_rosetinted: ). Hoping to get there around 2.30-3.00

And we need to make sure that there are enough MFCers at the front to trample the push in queuers under foot on the stairs (it's so dark on those stairs we could shove 'em all down there and they'd never prove a thing!!!:naughty:

Where is everyone staying? - RAK1 are you at the same place again this time? Comfort Inn by the station BTW in case anyone is interested - well you could at least try not to glaze over!!!!!LOL

Packing at the moment - train at 9 tomorrow. is there a limit to how much stuff you can dangle off a mobile phone neck strap without it either a) snapping your neck like a twig or b) swing up when youre walking a bit fast and knocking you unconcious? Just wanted to check cos i'm trying to avoid bringing a bag (no checks - sneeky!!). did consider buying a dirt cheap jumper for queueing which could be thrown away before hand - clever or what!!!!! Need to bring my pack-a mac - ok v sad i know but must be prepared for a sudden downpour but don't want anything too big to have to carry inside - umbrella could hook nicely onto my belt...... or phone strap LOL

ok way too many questions i'm confusing myself now - argghhhhh

See you all there - cold, wet, thirsty, hungry, needing a wee - oh it's going to be soooo much fun:roftl:

  6.

Can anyone remember if they let you take drinks inside last time? Like bottles of water? Because my mom has a habit of fainting...like ALL the time! (A bit ironic since she's a nurse...) unless she drinks loads. :sneaky2:

Did they actually take bottles off us or just take the lids off?

    Hia jennie,

I think they made me throw bottle away last time - and lollipops ...and glowsicks....and any sense of fun.....and they checked bags just in case we dared sneak any enjoyment into a concert - shock horror!!! They want you to buy as much drink at the bar inside (and outside if you want to jump the queue - we ain't falling for that again are we???????) They did give us water at the front (poor blokes were run off their feet!). I'd buy a ribena or something in a bag (you know the bag style cartons - not a real bag ... obviously! LOL) and hide it in a pocket for emergencies.

    See you there
